That's fine and all. But he's moved on, and so should his fans. Ladybaby had to evolve, and they scored a huge Get by recruiting Emily. Instead of complaining about Ladybeard, give Rie and the new girls a chance.
They've performed several lives already and Emily's throat isn't trashed yet (and she'd been growling long before joining Ladybaby). I hope now that she's gone pro, someone is coaching her how to keep her vocal chords intact.
Perhaps, but considering hidè's been dead for twenty years (May 2nd, 1998), I think he's given up that right by now. Why *_not_* let the next pink-haired rock star be a cute & talented girl like Emily Arima?
Honestly, I'm kind of sad. I love ladybaby from the roots to the new blossoming flowers that marked it's revival! but it would sound so much better if they blended emiri arima's voice better. Its hard to find girls that can scream really good honestly - but she does an okay job. Its just that they let her screams drown out the other voices sometimes. Kind of felt like I was trying to listen to a good song but then someone came in and started blasting earrape memes at some points....
I think maybe the sound engineer didn't quite know how to handle her, especially since Nana and Fuka are so much softer by comparison. I'm hopeful that as this new Ladybaby continues, everyone will improve.
Well, Rie is something of a fan of Su's (she's been filmed singing Babymetal songs at karaoke) and there _has_ been speculation that Su's hair on Babymetal's current tour is just as fake as her new teeth.
Dude, just wait literally one day. He has a cameo in the Ladybaby music video that drops on June 8th.
He won't come back for good. He has his own new group now. Let Rick and Rie (and Rei) do their things.
And all it took was Rie getting deserted by Beard (unintentionally) and then by Rei (very intentionally) and having to rebuild this project she cares about from the ground up. That identity is cute but edgy, just like she seems to be. Musical similarities to Babymetal aside, Rie appears almost opposite in personality to Su, Moa, and Yui -- those three are all known for being, at heart, wholesome. Rie is a softcore model who doesn't hide that she has a dark side.
Babymetal is too busy playing music festivals all over the world to worry about Ladybaby (Rie is a fan and *_very_* close in age to Su-Metal). Now if Ladybaby ever earns a live backup band like Babymetal did, _then_ BM should look out.
Well that and one of the girls having short pink hair. 😉 I like to think that maybe Yui wanted to do that (she _did_ once express a desire to show more skin, unusual for her, and an affinity for bald guys) and that's why she's MIA.
Uh dude, this isn't Babymetal. https://youtu.be/GvD3CHA48pA ☜(This is.)
But, Babymetal *_is_* awesome, and Ladybaby wouldn't exist if not for Babymetal's popularity. Plus, Rie seems to be a fan of theirs, so it's all good.
So, I just watched footage of this song performed live back in April and, well, good job, girls! Rie has definitely improved her live singing from the TIF shows. Nana and Fuka have definite potential as singers (and Nana as a rapper) with some more training. As for Emily, she's just wonderful. I might suggest she get vocal coaching to better utilize her diaphragm so she doesn't wreck her voice from screaming, and also to better enunciate, but it looked like all the girls were having fun, which is what matters.
Oh, they're still Idol, just… _underground_ Idol. Which is what Ladybaby has always been. The songs with just Rie and Rei were simply more on the pop-rock side with little to no metal. So I'm happy they're back to their roots too. That said, "Lady Baby Blue" is still one of the best Jpop songs I've ever heard, and I'm sad it can never be performed again.
Eh… wha?! What you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may god have mercy on your soul.
@soufriere stop trying to turn everyone against Rei. This is a new start for both girls so support Rie if you like but leave Rei out of it if you have nothing nice to say. People like you are goddamn annoying.
Soufriere So now you're like "I don't blame Rei" because I called you out on it. Comment after comment I saw you telling people that Rei was a liar and deceived Rie. Why are you acting like Rei hurt Rie? You weren't even there, you don't know what happened, so stop being a GOSSIP and spreading ridiculous rumors in the comments.
As for why you think Rei is a liar: So what she appeared on TV? She wasn't actually singing for many months after eaving LB. She has barely performed live in the year since quitting being an idol (to my memory, she hasn't performed live at all). That doesn't mean she would stop talking or stop promoting her other projects. So now you're trying to convince new fans about Rei being a bad friend based on your assumptions that aren't even based in logic. Great.
Will you stop? I'm a fan of BRATS and don't blame Rei one bit for wanting to leave the Idol world and be the rocker she was always destined to be. I wish her well and will continue to support her too. But the *_way_* Rei left obviously hurt Rie deeply, and that simply wasn't cool. Their breakup (whether just professional or more) should have been handled better, That's on Rei.
Dude, Beard's been gone for nearly two years. He left over a contract dispute and possibly visa issues and started his new project "Deadlift Lolita". However, Rie convinced Beard to return as a guest in one of Ladybaby's upcoming songs and its music video. I think he's also set to cameo at one of their live shows just to show no hard feelings.
Patients taking Viagra are less likely to suffer a heart attack, new research claims.
Men taking the impotence drug were found to have a lower risk of having a heart attack or dying from heart failure than those not on the medication.
The findings mean Viagra could soon be used to treat hundreds of thousands of heart failure patients and even prevent fatal heart attacks, scientists say.
Experts from the University of Manchester studied 6,000 diabetic patients who had been given Viagra to treat erectile dysfunction.
The drug relaxes muscle cells in the blood vessels supplying the penis, allowing more blood to flow there.
This increased blood flow increases the likelihood of getting an erection.
Given the increasing reports of deaths in which the use of Viagra may be implicated, clinicians need to exercise caution when advising their patients with heart
Experts believe a key ingredient in Viagra called PDE5i, which relaxes blood vessels, also prevents damage to heart cells.
Heart failure is caused by the heart failing to pump enough blood around the body at the right pressure.
It most often occurs because the heart muscle has become too weak or stiff to work properly and is usually treated with medication which supports the heart.
Despite diabetics being prone to heart problems, the study participants did not suffer as many incidents as similar patients not on the drug.
