Many people opt out of losing weight because the price they have to pay for exercise equipment, gym memberships, and the cost of groceries but I'll be providing budget friendly alternatives. Drink one cup of the detox thirty minutes prior to each meal for two weeks intervals and then cycle off for two weeks and repeat as necessary. Take a glass of lukewarm water. Add a table-spoon of honey, 3 table-spoon of lemon-juice and a pinch of black pepper to it. Mix it well and drink it on an empty stomach, every morning. It acts as a natural weight-loss drink. 2.Green Tea & Ginger You will need… -1/2 inch of fresh ginger peeled and finely chopped -1 teaspoon of green tea -8 ounces of fresh water -Raw, organic honey (optional) Directions Place green tea and ginger in a strainer or sieve and cover with 8 ounces of boiling water. Apple cider vinegar is alkaline when consumed. The same can be said for honey. Both ingredients raise the alkalinity of the body when eaten, and work tremendously well together to rid the body of unwanted acidity. They then then help to create an environment in our bodies with a protective pH level, allowing us to function at our best and healthiest. To consume both of these amazing sources for our health, mix about 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoons of vinegar with 1 teaspoon of honey in a glass of water. I got this recipe from JJ Smith, but I added a tweak to mine and added raw/unfiltered honey. I plan on drinking this as part of my daily routine, or at least a few times per week. So the first thing you will need. Apple Cider Vinegar Cayenne Pepper Purified Water Raw/ Unfiltered Honey (Optional) Lemon Alright so now that you know what you need, here are the amounts 4-6 ounces of water (I personally use 12-14 ounces for more dilution) 2 tablespoons of ACV 1 slice of lemon with juice squeezed in cup sprinkle of cayenne pepper 1 Tablespoon of Honey I always warm my water for a bit on the stove, and then add my ingredients. You can drink this like a tea and drink it warm, or drink it at room temperature. I have also drank this cold, but prefer room temp. I started off with one a day, but now I try to do 2 cups of this per day. It has helped with my energy levels, indigestion, bloating, my sinus drip problems. It also reduces glycemic and insulin responses to foods such as a starchy meal by delaying gastric emptying. (1) Polyphenols: Apple cider Vinegar also contains polyphenols – Polyphenols act as a prebiotic-type substance, meaning that they increase the amount of healthy bacteria in the gut, such as Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria strains. They also inhibit growth of potentially pathogenic bacteria. Catechin – a polyphenol – inhibits the proliferation of Clostridium histolyticum, a pathogenic bacteria (2) Cream of Tartar: Cream of tartar, also called potassium hydrogen tartrate, is an acidic natural byproduct of winemaking. Fasting can result in the loss of minerals, specifically potassium – low levels of potassium can result in high blood pressure problems. One teaspoon of cream of tartar = 495 mg of potassium. I love using apple cider vinegar when fasting because it helps with satiety and balancing my blood sugar. When using apple cider vinegar doing intermittent fasting I feel better and also find that it amplifies the results of my intermittent fast. The apple cider vinegar fasting recipe includes cinnamon, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, stevia, and pink Himalayan sea salt for added mineral. Apple cider vinegar health benefits are vast in number.
