This video explains how to plan and buy Nexium to become a backer of the Beyond the Void game.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To ensure your transaction is completed, the BtV team recommends setting "gas" to 400,000.

How to Become A Backer for Beyond the Void game
How to buy Nexium game tokens and be part of the crowdfunding ICO
Before you get started, you’ll need:
Basic arithmetic skills
An exchange account where you can buy Ethereum (e.g., Coinbase & Kraken)
A wallet with an account number that you own (e.g., Mist or MyEtherWallet.com).
A word about using wallets or exchanges to buy Nexium
Use a wallet like MyEtherWallet, and you’ll be okay:
If you have the private key, you own the account number.
When you send Eth to the ICO address, the ICO sends Nexium back to the account number that paid for them.
Don’t send Eth to the ICO address from an Exchange account:
Read up on basic crypto wallet security:
Never give out your private key.
Secure your account information.
Overview – What you’ll be doing
Choose a rank and determine how much Nexium you’ll need.
Calculate how much Eth and currency you’ll need.
If needed, send Eth to a wallet you own.
Send Eth from your wallet to the ICO address
Verify that you received the Nexiums
Planning: What Rank, How Much?
How many Ethereum?
Visit The Backer Ranks page at https://beyond-the-void.net/index.php/backer-ranks/ and choose a rank.
Look up the number of Nexium required to get that rank (i.e., “NxC Amount received”). Let’s call this “(A).”
Visit the ICO page http://ico.beyond-the-void.net/ and get the number of Nexium per Ether. Let’s call this (B).
Divide (A) by (B) = That’s number of Ethereum you need.
For Example How much Eth?
Suppose you want to be a Fleet Captain.
That requires a purchase of 4000 Nexiums.
Right now, the Number of Nexium per Eth is 600.
So, divide 4000/600 (or 40/6), and you get 6.67.
You need to buy 6.67 Eth
Ethereum per rank at 600 NxC/Eth
Ship Pilot, 1000 Nexium at 600 NxC/Eth = 1.667 Eth
Fleet Captain, 4000 Nexium at 600 NxC/Eth = 6.667 Eth
Death Star Commander, 16000 Nexium at 600 NxC/Eth = 26.667 Eth
Army General, 50000 Nexium at 600 NxC/Eth = 83.334 Eth
Moon Administrator, 100000 Nexium at 600 NxC/Eth = 166.667 Eth
Planetary Regent, 400000 Nexium at 600 NxC/Eth = 666.667 Eth
Star Baron, 650000 Nexium at 600 NxC/Eth = 1083.334 Eth
Constellation King, 1000000 Nexium at 600 NxC/Eth = 1666.667 Eth
Galactic Emperor, 1700000 Nexium at 600 NxC/Eth = 2833.334 Eth
Note: Eth rounded up to the nearest 1/1000th
Ethereum for each Rank
How much currency to buy the Ethereum?
Choose your currency from the list.
Look up the Price of 1 Eth in your currency.
Multiply the Number of Ethereum by the Price.
That’s the amount of currency you need to buy Ethereum.
Round up to the nearest whole unit.
Example: How much currency (in USD)
Previously, you determined that you need 6.67 Eth to become Fleet Captain.
Suppose the price of 1 Ethereum is $9.86 USD
Multiply 6.67 by 9.86 = $65.79, then round up.
You need $66 to become Fleet Captain
Starting from an Exchange account
Choose a reputable exchange
and purchase slightly more Eth than required.
Send the Ethereum to your wallet (not to the ICO address)
Here are the names of some exchanges:
If your exchange account contains BTC or some other altcoin, convert it to Eth, as described here.
Starting from your wallet
If your wallet contains BitCoin or some other altcoin, convert it to Eth.
Get the ICO address from the Beyond the Void website
Use the “Send Ether & Tokens” feature of your wallet to send Eth to the ICO address provided.
Confirm the Transaction
Click the Transaction History link in your wallet, or visit https://etherscan.io/address/ and enter your wallet’s address.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To ensure that your transaction is completed, the team at Beyond the Void recommends setting gas to a minimum of 400,000.
Consider doubling the default gas amount. It costs pennies and saves time.
A while later, use the “View Wallet Info” feature of your wallet. It should display some Nexium under “Token Balances.”
