Levels of Improvement Competency

05:02
Levels of Improvement Competency Wendy Madigosky, MD, MSPH; Director, Foundations of Doctoring Curriculum; Associate Professor, Family Medicine Department; University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, School of Medicine So, we like to think about competence development making use of some of our educational frameworks. The Dreyfus brothers helped to develop an understanding of competence and the competency development over time, so this works well in our arena of quality improvement education. The levels of competency development include the novice level, the advanced beginner level, the competent level, proficient level, and, finally, expert level. These are progressive. Not everybody might get to the expert level, but the idea is that there’s ongoing development of knowledge over time and experience as you progress from one stage to the next. As an example of the novice level thinking about quality improvement, novices in quality improvement would perhaps understand terminology. Something like what are the elements of the Model for Improvement, what makes an aim statement, what does the PDSA [cycle] actually stand for. They would have a basic understanding of some of the facts around quality improvement. And they might even be able to apply some of them. For example, coming up with an aim statement for a hypothetical situation: how to improve hand hygiene or, in a personal project, how to improve your ability to exercise regularly. So students would be able to apply in a very concrete way a basic understanding of quality and safety. But that would be the extent of it. Moving on to the advanced beginner level, this is when there’s some application of the concepts, more in the environment that you’ll be using them. So a learner may understand quality improvement by going to a clinical setting and seeing that there’s a need for improvement in A1c levels for a diabetic population and start to contribute to the idea formation in thinking about “What are the changes that could be made in the systems of care?” So they may contribute to one small piece of an improvement project. They may be able to understand for themselves how to do a personal improvement project, maybe from beginning to end, but it’s not something that they’re as familiar with about how to apply it in the clinical setting fully. So in the advanced beginner stage, they’re starting to apply and explore concepts like improvement, but it’s not at a level of real consistency in the clinical setting. Next moving on to the competent level, learners at this stage do understand how to apply concepts like quality improvement methods in the clinical environment. So they’re able to start with coming up with aim statements, determining what changes could be made, understanding measurement in the setting, and then going ahead and being a part of plan-do-study-act cycles to be able to test those changes. Learners at this point get the whole picture, and they’re able to apply it in the setting of their environment, e.g., clinical, population health. These are learners that have really gotten to the point where quality improvement is a part of what they can do. It’s part of their abilities. But it may not be something that they do regularly and all the time. It’s something the can get to, but it’s not part of their regular practice. The proficient level is one where learners are able to not only be a part of quality improvement projects that may be in their institution or in their clinical setting, but it’s actually a part of their own work. So they are regularly engaging in quality improvement practices. It’s how they think, it’s the frame of reference that they have, it’s an easy method for them to engage in, it’s something they may be able to bring other people into as well. So it’s well practiced. It’s something that they are able to do proficiently, and hence the term. The final level is expert, and this is a level that really is probably beyond most individual providers, but it’s a level where not only are they proficient — they’re regularly able to be a part of quality improvement processes, it’s how they frame their work — but it’s something they will also then teach others. They’re able to gain new knowledge in how to do quality improvement, they’re able to share this with colleagues, teach others, develop new resources to help assist with others learning and being able to enact improvement projects.

08 common Interview question and answers - Job Interview Skills

12:25
08 common Interview question and answers - Job Interview Skills 1. "Tell me a little about yourself." You should take this opportunity to show your communication skills by speaking clearly and concisely in an organized manner. Because there is no right or wrong answer for this question, it is important to appear friendly. 2. "What are your strengths?" This is a popular interview question. They want to know what you think of yourself. Although this is a general question, there is a wrong and right answer. The wrong answer is a generic answer saying you are organized and friendly. Although it will not hurt you during the interview, it will certainly not help you either. Answer this question based on the type of job you are applying for. 3. "What are your weaknesses?" For this answer, you should display a weakness that can be seen as a strength. There are many types of answers that will work. Some answers will be good answers for certain jobs, while the same answer will be a bad answer for a different job. Select an answer that will work for the position you are applying for. 4. "Where do you see yourself in five years?" This question primarily depends on where you are in your career. A person with 5 years of experience will have different goals than a person with no work experience. This question is asked to see how serious a candidate is about his or her career. Some people might not know their goals, and some people might have goals of becoming rich and retiring early. Those are incorrect answers for this question. The type of answer you want to give is an ambitious answer that shows you really love your career. A good interviewer will read between the lines and find out if a person is going to be a hard worker or just a mediocre one. Being descriptive and shooting for a big goal is something interviewers want to hear. 5. "What do you know about our company?" A typical job interview question, asked to find out how much company research you have conducted, is "What do you know about this company?" Prepare in advance, and in a word, research, so you can provide relevant and current information about your prospective employer to the interviewer. 6. "Are you good at dealing with change?" Dealing with change is common in the work place. A simple yes will not be sufficient to impress the interviewer. This is another type of question where everyone will have similar answers. Of course everyone is going to claim being excellent dealing with change. You got to communicate that you are really good at dealing with change. 7. "Do you work well under pressure?" In most cases, the best answer to this question is answering yes. Working well under pressure is a good trait to have. However, I think if you answer that you work the same with pressure and without pressure, the interviewer will be more impressed. However, you will need to explain in words why this is better. 8. "How do you make important decisions?" There are many ways to answer this question, and if you have a reasonable method of making decisions, it will probably be sufficient. One answer I thought of included not being afraid of asking your manager. You can follow up by saying even the best needs mentoring, and you always want to improve. So basically, this could work as an answer, but depending on the job, you might have a better shot with an answer like my example.

"Why should I hire you?" - Best Interview Questions and Answers

03:29
WHY SHOULD I HIRE YOU is often the last question you will be asked in an interview. Prepare for it. This is your chance to restate the skills you possess that are most relevant to the position and to summarize your other qualities that make you the perfect person for the job, and that's why they should hire you. Outline your answer before you go in, so that you can answer clearly, concisely, and with confidence. Your answer should be short and to the point. It should reflect your professional background as it relates to current needs and problems of the position. Review the job description and tell how you are the right person for the job by matching up your skill set with each bullet point of the job description. In formulating your answer as to why they should hire you, be sure to address these areas: 1. Determine their goals for the position. This should come up during your research into the company and the position. If possible, talk to others who work for the company. If you are unclear on this point, include it in the questions you ask at the interview and be prepared to incorporate it into your answer. 2. Show you have the skills needed for the job. Based on the goals you have identified in step one, determine how your skills and experience support those goals. If necessary, refer back to your list of skills. Ramona Jennex Presents New Educational Plan for 2012

11:03
The province's new P-12 education plan will put students first by better preparing them for post-secondary education, good jobs, and active citizenship. The Kids and Learning First plan, released today, Feb. 3, by Education Minister Ramona Jennex, includes 39 actions focused on putting students first, effective teaching and linking the school and community. "Parents want the very best for their children, including an education that's as good as anywhere in the country," said Ms. Jennex. "While the school system has strengths to celebrate, provincial assessments are showing no significant improvement in math and reading, and in some cases students are losing ground. We are also dealing with a school system that has 30,000 fewer students than it did 10 years ago. "Kids and Learning First is about doing things differently and improving results by focusing on students' needs." The multi-year plan invests $6.7 million to: -- bring more services for kids and families into schools in every county -- begin a Discovering Opportunities program for struggling Grade 9 students -- introduce a manufacturing trades course linked to shipbuilding -- double the number of schools offering skilled trades courses -- triple the number of students taking courses through virtual school and double the number of its courses -- expand career development support, including more career coaching workshops for parents -- introduce a new grants program to allow more community groups to use schools for physical, cultural and education activities Kids and Learning First is also about helping students better prepare for a career path that is right for them. "Having the opportunity to be in skilled trades has been really beneficial for me because it gave me a chance to learn in a very hands-on way," said Cora Finanders, a skilled trades student. "What I've learned in the classroom has helped me decide if the trades are something I want to pursue. "I think it's great that more students will get the opportunity to try this course and see if it's right for them." Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) president Don Bureaux also welcomed the new education plan, saying it will help prepare students for the workforce. "The earlier prospective students can begin exploring and matching their own skills, experience, knowledge and interests to career pathways, the more prepared our workforce will be to capitalize on what's before us as a province," he said. Students will also get more help earlier in critical subjects and transition years. A new math curriculum will be implemented and Succeeding in Reading will be available in more grades. The province will work with teachers and other interested groups, including the teachers' union, to develop standards for quality teaching and to better match teaching background to subjects. For example, the most recent data shows that only 37 per cent of junior high math teachers had an academic background directly related to math. Kids and Learning First opens a discussion with families, school boards and educators about the amount and use of time for learning. Statistics Canada reports that some Nova Scotia students receive less instructional time than students in most other provinces. Many schools and boards teach more than the minimum hours. The plan calls for a review to determine what level of instructional hours in key areas like math in literacy lead to the best results. The plan also launches a review of high school courses to help determine the essential skills and knowledge today's graduates need. Currently, more than 150 courses are offered with 18 required for graduation. Students will soon be able to earn a personal development credit in the community through organizations such as the Cadets, 4-H, Junior Achievement and Nova Scotia Dance. "Our vision is for every student to become well-educated, confident, responsible adults prepared to create and work in good jobs — to be ready to build lives and families of their own," said Ms. Jennex. The plan is the province's response to Steps to Effective and Sustainable Public Education in Nova Scotia, a report by Ben Levin, a professor and Canada research chair on educational leadership at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. "I want to thank the many Nova Scotians who took the time to provide their views and thoughts on the future of education," said Ms. Jennex. "I look forward to working with teachers, parents, students, school boards, unions, communities, and all partners to put Kids and Learning First into action." Four Types of Business Performance Assessments | Business Performance Improvement

Want to maximize your business performance improvement efforts? Access StrategyDriven's FREE Maximizing the Value of Business Performance Assessments online training series at: http://www.strategydriven.com/mvbpa/ Call or text now for a FREE consultation: +1 (770) 765-3692. Prefer email: ContactUs@StrategyDriven.com Four Types of Business Performance Assessments explores the array of assessment types routinely implemented by effective oversight programs. Business performance assessment programs are comprised of periodically scheduled and event driven assessments. Because these assessments are not performed on a continual basis, they are inappropriate for the monitoring of rapidly changing conditions. Circumstances for which periodic and event driven assessments are performed can be described as: Scheduled Assessments - Foundational: assessments occurring at a given frequency within a defined time interval typically focused on core business risks, operational goals, and organizational values. These assessments target those critical organizational functions and characteristics which present significant risk, must be performed with precision, or require continuous improvement to maintain marketplace competitiveness - Situational: assessments targeted at specific high-risk activities to ensure risk mitigating behaviors and mechanisms are present during these critical times. These assessments include reviews of the integrated training, execution, and follow-up improvements associated with these events Unscheduled Assessments - Even-based: assessments performed after a significant performance expectation violation that sets a dangerous precedent or causes significantly adverse impacts to the organization. The assessments scans a broad number of organizational groups, especially those performing similar operations to that group in which the violation occurred, so to identify the extent of condition of the undesired deviation and to broadly reinforce adherence to proper management standards. Note that the self-assessment and corrective action programs should also be examined to determine why precursor deviations were not identified and corrective action taken prior to the event’s occurrence - Random: assessments reinforcing desired behaviors performed at the discretion of the self-assessment program manager and/or senior organization leaders. Such random assessments reinforce with employees the need to be ever vigilant to the adherence of workplace standards because their compliance is monitored at all times As illustrated by StrategyDriven's Information Development Model, business performance assessments belong to the third tier of performance data refinement. Tell Me About Yourself - Good Answer To This Tough Interview Question

03:08
How to perfectly answer the "tell me about yourself" job interview question. For more in depth information, check out this article on our blog: https://theinterviewguys.com/tell-me-about-yourself-interview-question Most people screw the "Tell us about yourself" type job interview question up so watch our video to learn exactly what you need to do. Here's what you can expect from this Jeff and Mike Job interview tips video: This video uncovers 3 specific job interview tips when it comes to answering this tough interview question. The problem with the Tell me about yourself question is that it leaves things incredibly open ended and can lead job interviewees down a path that can lead to them being disqualified from the job within seconds! It's no surprise so many people are always trying to figure just how they should be answering this question, after all it's one of the most common opening questions you'll face at an interview. I know both Mike and I screwed up this question for years. As you'll see in the video, the interviewer doesn't care about your personal story. They're not interested in the fact that you grew up with a puppy named "Tex" and that you grew up in a sleepy town in Wisconsin... They want to know about your specific work achievements and strengths! Job interview questions are all about discovering whether you can bring to the position, exactly what they're looking for in terms of abilities and qualities. Ones that are going to benefit the company you are interviewing with. Here are some excerpts from the video: Jeff's bad answer: "Well, I'm from Seattle, Washington, I enjoy mountain biking and cooking and my favorite color is..." Jeff's good answer: Well, I've been in sales for the last 5 years. My most recent experience was in the retail industry, where I was a manager at the Comfy Shoe Company. I was personally responsible for a 30% increase in sales over the last year. I'd say that my main strength is my leadership ability, which was evident in the way I mentored my sales team to reach our lofty goals. What I am looking for is a company that values teamwork and the group dynamic, where I can join a strong team and have a positive impact on the team dynamic and sales revenue. 3 Tips to answering the Tell Me About Yourself question: MIKE There are three main points that you need to remember when answering this question...what's the first one Jeff? JEFF Well, as you saw in my bad answer, you absolutely DO NOT want to go on and on about your personal life or hobbies and interests. MIKE Which leads me to point number two. You want to include specific work achievements from your past in your answer. But there's one final trick right Jeff? JEFF That's right Mike. It is always a good idea to mention your strengths and abilities in your answer. Please leave your comments below, share this video with your friends on Facebook and Twitter, and don't forget... As we talk about in the video, if you want to give perfect answers to interview questions that will get you the job....You need to tailor each answer to exactly what the company is looking for. This is the method that the top job seekers in the world use. It's also helped Mike and I get offers from one job interview after another. There's a bit more to "Tailoring" than I can go into in this description or in the video but we've written a brand new special report that explains this incredibly powerful job interview method. The next thing you need to do if you want to get a job from your next interview is read this report immediately... You can get it for free by clicking the link at the end of the video. Thanks, Jeff & Mike "The Interview Guys"

Try this workout for back that will give you lats that block out the sun. Athlete and men's physique IFBB Pro Jake Alvarez shows you how to build them with his killer back workout. ► Shop Bodybuilding Signature Supplements: http://bbcom.me/2pgSwvS ► Premium Fitness Plans: http://bbcom.me/2pfsw4l The thought of strong, chiseled bodies immediately conjures certain features: a barreled chest, for one, but also a back that can deflect artillery fire from a tank—because, you know, that's how you test its fortitude. What's more, a broad back makes the rest of your body look that much better. With your lats flared out like a cobra snake, for example, your waist will appear to shrink in comparison, even if it's the same circumference it's always been. The question, of course, is how to build such a prodigious back. Folks, welcome to Jake Alvarez's back-attack workout. Class is in session. In the video, Jake demonstrates five back exercises. Before beginning each set of a new exercise, Jake typically does a single warm-up set of higher reps to prime his body for the upcoming movement. It would be wise for you to do the same! MLC Mission Statement

02:49
MLC Mission Statement Metropolitan Learning Center is a K-12 alternative school in Portland, Oregon that utilizes the diversity of the city and its resources to provide a challenging learning environment to empower students. MLC honors students’ identities, strengths, and learning styles so they can be themselves, find themselves, and find a sense of belonging in our school community. At MLC we use courage, compassion, respect, self-discipline, and integrity as anchors for student behavior and learning. Through building relationships with each other and our world, we observe, create, imagine, and think critically about how we can influence positive change. Kx3 Grade Level Statement We nurture each child by focusing on relationship building and relying on our MLC character traits as a touchstone. In partnership with families and community, we provide a strong academic, project-based program. We inspire children to achieve their highest potential and develop a passion for lifelong learning. Within this strong foundation, we encourage joy, curiosity, and making connections to the world around us. 4x6 Grade Level Statement Learning happens best in challenging authentic experiences that provide opportunities to imagine, create and reflect. Children on the 4x6 team are immersed in these experiences designed to empower them with the skills and confidence to be successful, engaged, and trusted. Through interdisciplinary projects and adventures, students explore ideas and places both inside the school walls and throughout their city, state, and region. 7x8 Grade Level Statement Seventh and eighth-grade students work with subject area teachers in core academic classes as well as with parents, staff and community members for weekly adventures, community involvement, exploration, and elective classes. Our small size, student-centered programs, and supportive community allow staff to work and plan collaboratively and to know students as individuals, allowing us to build vigorous learning experiences. High School Statement In our small high school community, educators know each student by name and aim to creatively engage them in a rigorous college and career focused learning environment. We facilitate mindful inquiry and teach students strategies for reflecting on their learning. We support our students in examining their identities, beliefs, and education through multiple social, personal, historical, and cultural views.

School Inc. Episode 1: The Price of Excellence - Full Video

56:36
With the great inventions of the Industrial Revolution in the 17th century, productivity rose dramatically -- and the innovations behind it spread like wildfire. But not so in education. In those early years, education was controlled by parents, but Horace Mann championed efforts to put education into the hands of state-appointed experts and state-trained teachers. And so, universal public education in America was born. The documentary flashes forward to East Los Angeles, and a modern story of what happened when Jaime Escalante, a gifted math teacher at Garfield High, and the educational excellence he created in the classroom became the basis of the Hollywood movie, Stand and Deliver. Finally, Coulson travels to Seoul, South Korea, where college-bound students eagerly enroll in after school tutoring programs called “Hagwons.” Students and administrators tell us how well it works, and one professor declares he makes more than a million dollars in salary every year. In “The Price of Excellence,” the first episode of School, Inc., the late Andrew Coulson, senior fellow of education policy at Cato Institute’s Center for Educational Freedom, explores the industry of education, its history, the politics that sometimes impede the growth of good schools – and good teachers -- and the rise of entrepreneurial educators. Building Strategic Partnerships to Foster Community Engagement in Education

01:20:47
Recorded on February 9, 2011, this was the fifth webinar in the "Achieving Excellence and Innovation in Family, School, and Community Engagement" (FSCE) series. Strategic community partnerships are a key component of systemic family, school, and community engagement in education. These partnerships draw on the strengths of community groups as they surround students with an array of supports to enhance learning and prepare them for the 21st century. Strategic partnerships also create a culture of communication with each other and with families and schools to ensure the services they provide meet the needs of their communities. This webinar examined practical examples of how to build successful strategic partnerships that foster community engagement, including how to select the organizations, people, and services to be included; how to structure communications to ensure ongoing collaboration; and how to build connections with families and schools. You will hear from a Promise Neighborhood grantee about the program's vision and how it is forming partnerships to support students from birth through college and career preparation, from The Children's Aid Society about why the community school model promotes strong families and successful students, and from the United Way of Lake County, Illinois about a community engagement planning process to ensure on-time high school graduation. The U.S. Department of Education's Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships will also speak about what the initiative is doing to sponsor deliberate and ongoing partnerships. Presenters include: - Moderator: Lindsay Torrico, Manager, Public Policy, United Way Worldwide - Reverend Brenda Girton-Mitchell, Director, Center for Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships, U.S. Department of Education - Jane Quinn, Director, National Center for Community Schools, The Children's Aid Society - Irasema Salcido, Founder, Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools for Public Policy, Promise Neighborhood Grantee - Helen Westmoreland, Director of Program Quality, Flamboyan Foundation - Michelle Mittler Crombie, Vice President of Community Development, United Way of Lake County, Illinois A selection of resources and links related to the webinar are located at: http://www.nationalpirc.org/engagement_webinars/archive-webinar5.html

Change your mindset, change the game | Dr. Alia Crum | TEDxTraverseCity

18:21
This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Dr. Crum says the biggest game changer is “YOU, by harnessing the power of your mind." She explores scientific results that show the influence of the mindset on the body, and how changing the subjective mindset produced different outcomes. Dr. Crum's work is inspired in part by the placebo effect, and has implications that stretch far beyond the realm of medicine. Dr. Crum is a professor, psychologist, and researcher investigating how mindsets affect health and behavior. Dr. Crum's research focuses on how changes in subjective mindsets—the lenses through which information is perceived, organized, and interpreted—can alter objective reality through behavioral, psychological, and physiological mechanisms. Her work is, in part, inspired by research on the placebo effect, a notable and consistent demonstration of the ability of the mindset to elicit healing properties in the body. She is interested in understanding how mindsets affect important outcomes outside the realm of medicine, in the domains of behavioral health and organizational behavior. Leg Strength Workout (JUST 2 EXERCISES!)

10:23
Build athletic, strong legs by training like an athlete here http://athleanx.com/x/build-strong-athletic-legs-here When training for leg strength, you have to make sure you keep your leg workouts simple and focus less on the number of leg exercises and more now on the quality of the ones you perform. In this video, I show you a two exercise leg workout that can help you to build lower body strength and power. Additionally, this workout will help you to build functional athletic strength by teaching you how to push off the ground with maximum force from athletic leg positions. The two exercises in this leg workout are deadlifts and Bulgarian split squats. These are two of my favorite lower body movements you can do. The deadlift is great for helping you build strength in your entire posterior chain, from your feet to your fingertips. The first half of the exercise is essentially a standing leg press that requires great strength in your legs to get the bar off the ground. The second half of the exercise requires a strong hip drive and glute strength. In order to finish the pull you will need to drive your hips into extension while maintaining the rigidity and stability in your spine. Of course, your back plays a huge part in providing this stabilization, however without the necessary leg strength to start the exercise, you’ll struggle mightily to get the bar off the ground. The next exercise in this leg strength workout is my favorite, bulgarian split squat. This ground based exercise is one of the best ways to work your quads and include the help of your glutes during the initial portion of the lift as well. One of the keys to initiating the movement is to drive your chest forward as you start pushing up. This slight but key movement helps to power your push and improve your leg strength on the exercise. I work my way through each of these exercises, making sure not to perform too many wasteful reps on my way to my heaviest reps. One of the biggest mistakes people make is tiring themselves out too much on their way to their most productive reps. In a strength workout, those reps are going to reside at the top end of the weights you can handle. Once I reach that level, I stick to doubles for the duration of the workout. Five sets of two reps is my main focus, before I work my way back down attempting my best quality reps at each level. Same thing applies to the bulgarian split squats. I work my way up to my heaviest weight, which in this case is 95 pound dumbbells in each hand for 5-6 reps. I stayed there for 6 sets and then worked my way back down once again to my original 40 pound weights. If you are looking for a complete set by set, workout by workout approach to building athletic, strong legs be sure to head to http://athleanx.com and get your ATHLEAN-X Training System. Perfect Time Based Productivity - Time Management Solved

04:46
More demands on your time - that's just a fact of modern life. http://perfect.mytimedesign.com. You may be doing the job of more than one person and facing an onslaught of information, only to realize that ubiquitous, 24-7 technology has only made things worse. How do you stay ahead of the expectation that you should be able to meet all your obligations, old and new? In the face of these increasing pressures, what do you need to do to maintain your peace of mind? This book is primarily written for productive professionals who have already found a way to achieve positive results. They aren't clueless - time is an important concern and they have been able to manage their affairs well enough to get through school, hold a job, keep a family and enjoy life's benefits. However, if you belong to this group, you may share a concern: how can you be successful in the future, given the hot pace of change you see around you every day? Doing more of the same seems an unlikely answer. So does the conventional wisdom around "time management" and the popular tactic of following one-size-fits-all solutions. While the book has lots of specific, practical suggestions for new behaviors, at its heart is a four step approach that preserves and builds on the advances that you, as a professional, have already made in your career: Step 1 - Evaluate your current skills against best-in-class standards, discovering strengths and improvement opportunities. Step 2 - Set realistic targets for new behaviors that meet your unique, evolving needs. Step 3 - Create a personalized plan from these new targets that allow you enough time to succeed, by taking small steps. Step 4 - Craft your own habit change support environment. By the end of the book you will have completed these steps many times, giving you an easy way to improve any skill that's important to your peace of mind. To complete these steps effectively, Perfect Time-Based Productivity takes you through a broad range of new ideas based on recent research and case studies in fields such as psychology, business process management, adult learning, brain science and industrial engineering. Part One - You discover the concepts needed to shift from attempting to manage or control time (which is impossible) to managing time demands - the "individual, internal commitments made to complete actions in the future." Once these ideas are understood, you discover that every person manipulates time demands in similar ways, subject to the limits of human capacity. However, your implementation is unique because in this area of life, humans are almost completely self-taught. Part Two - Using a number of forms provided in the book (and available for download) you perform an evaluation of 7 essential skills: Capturing, Emptying, Tossing, Acting Now, Storing, Listing and Scheduling. Each self-evaluation is the precursor to creating a mini-improvement plan which goes into a Master Plan, made up of small steps, that outlines your improvement journey. It's one that will change your habits, practices and rituals at a pace that preserves your peace of mind. Part Three - You'll learn about other advanced skills and perspectives needed to be effective in today's world. For example, Flowing - your capacity to be in the flow state defined by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi - is an important skill to master given the pressure to multi-task and become distracted. Also, you'll learn why corporations are struggling with time-based productivity: they don't push for the right tools for their employees and have allowed individual effectiveness to become a matter of chance, versus policy. The book closes with additional resources for already-productive professionals such as Type A business-people, fans of productivity improvement, project managers and time advisers. Everyone who picks up this book will learn a new definition of "perfection": To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often. Perfect Time Based Productivity -- Beyond the Limits of Time Management

02:48
Perfect Time-Based Productivity is available at my book's website - http://perfect.mytimedesign.com or on Amazon.com. Here is the full text of the video. More demands on your time - that's just a fact of modern life.
