Do you feel a sudden surge in your blood pressure when you take your daily dose of caffeine? http://goo.gl/L5Ae0f - Yes, it is proven that caffeine consumption results in increasing blood pressure. But, how? There can be various causes. Caffeine is said to block the hormone needed to keep the arteries wide resulting in narrow arteries and difficulty in pumping the blood by the heart. This leads to increasing and unnatural heartbeats because heart's natural function is being tampered with. It also holds true that caffeine enhances adrenalin release, which gives your body a high, and your heartbeats go up. If all this is left untreated, it can lead to kidney and artery damage, heart problems and even brain damage. How Does Salt (Sodium) Raise Your Blood Pressure?

SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/user/DrJohnKiel FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/medicinelifestyle TWITTER: https://twitter.com/LifestyleMedYou I wanted to take a moment to talk about salt and it's effects on your body. Specifically, I wanted to talk about how it can raise your blood pressure. By better understanding the effects of salt on your blood pressure, you may be better able to manage that aspect of your health moving forward. Before I get started, I want to mention that salt has many roles in the human body and I'm going to specifically focus on blood pressure in this lecture. In a nutshell, sodium (or Na+), which I'll just refer to as salt ( NaCl) for now, helps your kidneys retain water. This serves a very essential function to our overall health and well being. The salt circulating in our bloodstream, and in the rest of our body, helps keep our circulatory system filled and allows the heart to do its job of delivering oxygen around the body. It is the job of your kidneys to regulate the amount of salt in your circulatory system. If total salt goes up, your kidneys will filter more out. If total salt goes down, those filters will close and your body will try to retain salt. This affects your blood pressure directly because the water "follows" the salt if you will. It does this through a physical process called osmosis. According to the American Heart Association, we require about 1500 mgs of salt per day. As Americans, we consume about 3,400 mg/day, more than twice what we need. Furthermore, 75% of the salt we consume comes from processed food and restaurant, and less than 25% from what we add ourselves. It's also worth noting that some people are more sensitive to salt intake than others. So if you have no heart or kidney problems, you're most likely able to filter out the excess salt. However, if you have heart or kidney issues, or you are particularly sensitive, then the excess salt can start causing problems and potentially damage some of your organ systems. Salt has several names including sodium, Na, Na+, NaCl, KCl and low sodium. Unsalted, no salt added, sodium free are terms you should look for on a nutrition facts label. Elevated sodium levels are associated with heart disease, heart attack, myocardial infarction, CAD or coronary artery disease, embolisms and blood clots, brain disease, stroke, dementia, vascular disease, atherosclerosis, arteriosclerosis, arteriostenosis, kidney disease, kidney failure, osteoporosis, stomach cancer, kidney stones and headaches. Symptoms of too much salt include dehydration, bloating, puffiness, weight gain, increased thirst, and excessive thirst. There are many ways to lower, decrease salt intake. One example is DASH diet or dietary approaches to stop hypertension (high blood pressure).

Is coffee bad for you ? Shocking Side Effect of Coffee | Caffeine | Bad Effect of Coffee

03:51
Is coffee bad for you ? Shocking Side Effect of Coffee | Caffeine | bad Effect of Coffee.. Coffee is safe for most adults. Drinking more than 6 cups/day might cause “caffeinism” with symptoms such as anxiety or agitation. People who drink a lot of coffee every day may need to drink more coffee to get the same effects. They may also become “dependent” on coffee to the point that they develop withdrawal symptoms if they suddenly stop drinking it. Here are 10 side effects of coffee. 1.Pregnancy Caffeinated coffee is probably safe for pregnant women in amounts of 2 cups per day or less. This amount of coffee provides about 200 mg of caffeine. However, drinking more than this amount has been linked to an increased risk of miscarriage, premature birth, and low birth weight. These risks increase as the amount of coffee the mother drinks during pregnancy increases. 2.b*ea*t-feeding. Drinking 1 or 2 of cups of coffee per day seems to be safe for breast-feeding mothers and their infants. But the caffeine in larger amounts can irritate a nursing infant’s digestive tract and also cause sleep problems and irritability. 3.Children. It may be unsafe for children to drink caffeinated coffee. The side effects associated with caffeine are usually more severe in children than adults. 4.Bleeding disorders. There is some concern that coffee might make bleeding disorders worse. 5.Heart disease. Drinking unfiltered (boiled) coffee increases the amount of cholesterol and other fats in the blood, and also raises the level of homocysteine, all of which are associated with an increased risk of developing heart disease. Some research suggests an association between heart attacks and drinking coffee. 6.Diabetes. Some research suggests that caffeine contained in coffee might change the way people with diabetes process sugar. Caffeine has been reported to cause increases as well as decreases in blood sugar. Use caffeine with caution if you have diabetes and monitor your blood sugar carefully. 7.Diarrhea. Coffee contains caffeine. The caffeine in coffee, especially when taken in large amounts, can worsen diarrhea. 8.Glaucoma . Drinking caffeinated coffee increases pressure inside the eye. The increase starts within 30 minutes and lasts for at least 90 minutes. 9.High blood pressure . Drinking caffeinated coffee might increase blood pressure in people with high blood pressure. However, this effect might be less in people who drink coffee regularly. 10.Thinning bones (osteoporosis) . Drinking caffeinated coffee can increase the amount of calcium that is flushed out in the urine. This might weaken bones. If you have osteoporosis, limit caffeine consumption to less than 300 mg per day (approximately 2-3 cups of coffee). Taking calcium supplements may help to make up for calcium that is lost. Postmenopausal women who have an inherited condition that keeps them from processing vitamin D normally, should be especially cautious when using caffeine. Coffee might be unsafe when given rectally as an enema. Coffee enemas have been linked to cases of severe side effects including death. -------------------------------------------- Images are licensed under CC, ------------------------------------------- Blog : https://webhealthremedy.blogspot.com/ Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/Health-Remed... How Caffeine Works?

Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz Your report will then be sent via email analyzing 104 potential symptoms, giving you a much deeper insight into the cause-effect relationship of your body issues. It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg talks about caffeine. Caffeine is known to give you energy but how does this happen? It blocks adenosine, which is a chemical that inhibits your central nervous system. It’s the breaks of your nervous system. It increases dopamine which let you temporarily handle depression, inability to manage stress, focus…etc. Too much caffeine might increase artery stiffness down the road. It also depletes vitamin B1, calcium, and potassium. So too much is not okay, but you can do a small amount of it. Anxiety and Caffeine - Good or Bad For You?

05:42
If you have Anxiety, Caffeine may be something you want to avoid. Whether caffeine is good or bad for you and your anxiety may depend on the person and the level anxiety they have. When I use to drink coffee while suffering from panic disorder, it made my symptoms worst and often triggered a panic attack. Caffeine can raise your heart rate, elevate your blood pressure, cause stomach pains, and give you a full feeling. If you are suffering from health anxiety or hypochondriasis, You are usually super aware of the symptoms and sensations in your body, so caffeine can often cause you to overreact to heart rate, blood pressure, or other sensations in your mid section. I would say that caffeine is more bad for you than good if you suffer from anxiety. However some people that have stress or anxiety are not affected by caffeine. If you are drinking alot of cokes, sodas, energy drinks, or sweet tea, the caffeine and sugar can effect your health which can also worsen anxiety and stress. My advice would be to monitor your levels and cut back accordingly! ***Click to Buy or See Options*** Hardcore Self Help: F**k Anxiety (Volume 1) https://amzn.to/2DOgaob Don't Feed the Monkey Mind: How to Stop the Cycle of Anxiety, Fear, and Worry https://amzn.to/2DPtWa3 The Worry Trick: How Your Brain Tricks You into Expecting the Worst and What You Can Do About It https://amzn.to/2ugpiCs Weighted Blanket for Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, OCD https://amzn.to/2DPKe2O Anti Anxiety Supplement 900mg With Gaba, L-Theanine, 5-HTP, Ashwagandha, Magnesium Oxide, St. John's Wort, Chamomile - Positive Mood, Relaxed Mind, Promote Higher Serotonin, Live In Peace https://amzn.to/2DQC4a6 Thank you so much for watching! Alcohol and High Blood Pressure - Effects, Treatment, Management

03:00
Alcohol and High Blood Pressure - Effects, Treatment, Management What is High Blood Pressure? http://alcoholmastery.com/alcohol-and-high-blood-pressure-effects-treatment-management/ High blood pressure has many causes, this post is primarily concerned with the relationship between alcohol and high blood pressure. Blood Pressure is the measurement of the pressure of the blood against the walls of your blood vessels. A BP monitor calculates the force of the blood from both the beating heart and the resting heart. Alcohol can cause high blood pressure (HBP) while you’re drinking, and long term heavy drinking can cause chronic high blood pressure. HBP can lead to a heart attack or heart failure, stroke, and kidney failure. Dr Brian Silver of Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, says "Somehow the binge drinking compounds [HPB] -- and more than just a little bit." Men with really HBP are at even greater risk. 6 or more drinks consumed in one sitting can quadruple the risk of having a heart attack or stroke. Dr Silver, who is also a spokesman for the American Heart Association, says “There have been studies that alcohol [consumption] can increase blood pressure 15 to 20 points. And if you start off hypertensive, raising your blood pressure 15 or 20 points probably does as much as double your risk of stroke, so this certainly fits with things we already know." What are the Symptoms of High Blood Pressure? There are really no symptoms of high blood pressure, other than it registering on a blood pressure monitor. So it is vitally important that you know this reading. High blood pressure can cause aneurysms, narrowing of the blood vessels and arteries, kidney failure, stroke, heart attack, blindness, and amputations. Treatment for High Blood Pressure The best way of controlling your blood pressure is to live a healthy life. Here’s 7 ways that you can lower your blood pressure and keep it down. Reduce alcohol intake Lose weight Exercise regularly Eat a healthy diet Reduce salt intake Reduce caffeine Stop smoking The more of these you choose to implement in your life, the better your blood pressure will be, and you’ll get the other benefits that come with a healthy lifestyle. There are also medications that can be prescribed in emergencies. Outlook The outlook for this condition depends on how much personal responsibility you take. If you go all out to change what you’re putting into your body, eliminate all the drinking and smoking, all the crappy foods and food additives, the outlook for a long and healthy life is very positive. Sources http://www.heart.org/HEARTORG/Conditions/HighBloodPressure/SymptomsDiagnosisMonitoringofHighBloodPressure/What-are-the-Symptoms-of-High-Blood-Pressure_UCM_301871_Article.jsp www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/health-topics/topics/hbp/signs.html High Blood Pressure can be the silent killer because you won't know about it from any symptoms, there aren't any. You need to have a regular check up or get yourself a Bp Monitor to give yourself a ballpark figure. If you drink, or smoke, or eat shit foods, you can be sure it's not doing your blood pressure any good. Alcohol and high blood pressure is just another risk you're taking with heavy drinking. Stop Eating These Foods If You Have High Blood Pressure!

03:16
Stop Eating These Foods If You Have High Blood Pressure! High blood pressure? One of the most common conditions that one in three adults experience. You probably have someone in your family that suffers from high blood pressure. Nowadays, this condition has gained intense popularity and the number of people who suffer from it rapidly increases. Unfortunately, people can have high blood pressure for years without any symptoms. Even without symptoms, uncontrolled high blood pressure can cause serious health problems such as stroke and heart attack. What Does It Trigger Hypertension? The low intake of fruits vegetables and potassium and a high sodium intake can lead to the onset of this health condition. When having hypertension, you should have a diet low in fats and sodium as well as you should avoid the following foods. 1. Sugar: You may link excessive sugar intake with weight gain and obesity, but it significantly affects the blood pressure. Sugar contributes to obesity, and high blood pressure is a more common condition in people who are overweight and obese. According to the American Heart Association, women should limit the sugar intake to 24 grams or 6 teaspoons on a daily basis. Men should consume no more than 36 grams or 9 teaspoons per day. 2. Pickles: Pickles have a low level of calories and fat but are loaded with vitamin K, an important vitamin which promotes blood clotting after an injury. Unfortunately, pickles are high in sodium. One single pickle contains more than 570 mg of sodium or 1/3 more of the daily recommended dose. Therefore, if you have hypertension, avoid the consummation of pickles. 3. Deli Meat: Processed deli meats are high in sodium. They are seasoned and preserved with high amounts of salt. A 2-ounce serving of these meats has 600mg of sodium. If you add bread, cheese, pickles and condiments, you can quickly become trapped in a sodium bomb. 4. Ramen Noodles: These noodles are a quick to prepare, convenient and inexpensive choice for your meal. However, they not the perfect solution because of the lack of healthy nutrients and components. A package of ramen noodles contains 6grams of saturated fat, 14 grams of fat and 1731 grams of sodium. This amount is 70% more than the daily recommended dose. Also, the flavor packet has most of the sodium, so avoid this particular type of noodles if you want to reduce the sodium intake. 5. Coffee: Coffee can be just another ingredient that you should stay away if you suffer from hypertension. This delicious morning pleasure can cause an instant spike in your blood pressure. Along with coffee, any caffeinated drink such as caffeinated soda or tea can significantly increase your blood pressure. #naturalcures #naturalcuresforhealth #lifewelllived

☕ The Major Health Problem With Energy Drinks and Caffeine

An “all-in-one” formula for instantly increasing your energy levels and improving memory naturally: 🤜 http://drsam.co/yt/BoostYourEnergy ======================================= ☕ The Major Health Problem With Energy Drinks and Caffeine ======================================= Unfortunately, Energy Drinks Are HORRIBLE For Your Health Do they taste good? Yes… but that’s because they either have lots of sugar (over 60 grams and 250 calories worth). Or the sugar-free ones are loaded with toxic artificial sweeteners. Are they healthy for you? Nope! Just because they contain a few vitamins, doesn’t mean they are healthy. Secondly, they make your body very acidic which is known to cause cancer and accelerate aging.9 Energy drinks are linked to many health problems, but these are the big ones in my opinion: Heart problems — cardiac arrest1, high blood pressure2, decreased arterial health1 and more. Physical problems — headaches, migraines, insomnia5, arthritis3, addictive, type 2 diabetes6, erectile dysfunction and poor blood flow11. Emotional problems — anxiety, panic attacks, nervousness, and depression.7 Do they give you energy? Yes they do, but that’s because of the massive dose of CAFFEINE they contain! That’s 3-4 cups of strong coffee. Trust me, take out the caffeine and there is no “energy” in these drinks. As you can see, there are lots of problems with energy drinks, but … The WORST Problem Of All The WORST problem with energy drinks is the caffeine consumption and the negative change in your hormones due to the RISE in your “stress hormone” called, cortisol! The elevation in this stress hormone is the cause of many of the above mentioned negative effects. Why We Like Caffeine So Much So, why do you or anyone even take caffeine products?… You can have “decaf” coffee, tea or energy drinks. It tastes the same. At the end of the day, it’s simply because you like how the caffeine makes you FEEL. After all, it IS a drug! We like the temporary extra energy levels — both physical and mental. Additionally, caffeine temporarily increases dopamine levels slightly. Dopamine is known as the “pleasure chemical”. So, another reason caffeine makes us “happy”. However, after continued use (usually 7-10 days): -your adrenal glands become overworked, -cortisol levels increase, -dopamine receptors become desensitized -and caffeine is NO LONGER making you “energized and happy”… Many times you have mid-day “caffeine crash”, which means MORE caffeine (coffee, energy drinks, etc.). Thus, why it’s addictive. And when you get off, the opposite happens — you’re super tired, anxious and depressed! How To Increase Your Energy Levels & Feel Good, WITHOUT Caffeine! The good news is that with the correct combination of natural ingredients, you’ll get MANY MORE BENEFITS. When increasing your energy levels – you want to focus on BOTH physical and mental energy. Increase ATP & Mitochondria A common complaint among people, especially older adults is the loss of physical and mental energy. You can naturally increase these by taking Rhodiola Extract, NADH, CoQ10, PQQ and Acetyl-L-Carnitine. Improve Dopamine This is a neurotransmitter that regulates your mood and cognition/memory. It’s known as the anti-aging “pleasure chemical”. It gives you a natural “high”. You can naturally increase dopamine by using wild green oat extract, velvet bean extracts and L-Theanine Decrease Stress Hormones As stated earlier, caffeine increases (NOT what you want) your stress hormones and depletes your adrenal glands, which leads to fatigue, weight gain and depression. You can naturally decrease stress hormones and improve your memory by taking Bacopa and Ashwagandha extract, Phosphyatidylserine and Tyrosine. Increase Acetylcholine & Oxygen Proper acetylcholine function is essential to muscle control, sleep, and cognition… and the prevention of dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.12 Additionally, increasing oxygen to your cells – both brain and muscle, will dramatically increase your energy levels and slow the aging process.13-16 To increase acetylcholine – you can take Alpha-GPC, Choline and Huperzine-A. And to improve oxygen to your cells, you should take Ginkgo Biloba and Vinpocetine. Total Body & Brain Energy Remember, your goal is to increase your energy levels to BOTH your body (muscles) and brain (neurotransmitters), while reducing the aging process at the same time. ======================================== Thank you for watching.
