In this video I will show you all you need to know to create your own Fitness Brand (or any brand). You will learn how to source your products for cheap from China (Alibaba, ect...), how to get other people to design your graphics for you, and a ton of other tips about researching the competition, ideas for what to source, how to add value, and a ton of other info that most people CHARGE for, but Sasquatches are just really cool people, badass, and extremely attractive. I guess you could call me LLCS (Ladies Love Cool Sasquatch). So here, watch it, learn, make a shit-load of money, or don't.
Do your research on YouTube (fitness channels w/products), Amazon, eBay, ect.... You can literally find weightbelts from YouTubers that sell for $120, and source them for $12.
Consider who you are and why someone would want to buy from you.
Add value to your product. Copy what works in a unique way.
All of this is really easy to do, the hardest part is actually making a sale. But, you can do it if you have the passion and marketing skills to make the buyer feel they NEED your product.
Recognize and exploit buyer psychology. All successful brands do this.
Promote yourself and your products with reckless abandon! Don't give a fuck about the haters. You have to exude confidence in yourself and your product. Why should someone buy your shit when you don't even believe in it?
The sites you will use to source:
(Main and Wholesale)
There are others, like
If you are going to sell on Amazon and have a Private Label (tons of money in this if you do it right) and you are buying a lot of products and using Amazon FBA, you may want to consider
Always be nice and respectful when contacting a manufacturer. Make your business sound like it's successful even if you are just starting! Be confident. Ask all questions before making an order, sellers will work with you.
Consider the true cost of the items before making your order. You have to consider the item price, shipping, customs, packaging, selling fees, and shipping to the buyer fees.
If you can't draw, get someone else to make your graphics for you!
You can also get people to market for you, write copywrite for you, make a website for you, ect...
Consider a few types of graphics. For example, you may want to put your graphic on a weightbelt, and use a different graphic/name/initial on the tag. There are so many things you can do! For a t-shirt, you may want a cool graphic, but also a custom tag with your brand name instead of the generic manufacturers name.
Add value to your product by including "free" related items! A jump rope might need a carry bag and a booklet. Lifting Straps might need a chalk ball included, ect...
Consider if you want to invest in custom packaging. Sometimes a manufacturer will be able to provide you with packaging options (i.e. a box with custom graphics of ripped guys working out) Or, you can source packaging somewhere else. Or, just use generic plastic packaging.
The logistics side may be tricky. Make sure the supplier will ship your product and get a quote. If you have a large order coming by sea, make sure you know who, if anyone, is picking it up at the port and shipping it to you.
Don't be put off by large MOQ's. Tell the manufacturer that you are looking for a new supplier (which you are), but you don't want a large order to start. You need to build relationships with your suppliers. They will be much more likely to help you if you are not being an asshole.
Consider your payment options. You always want to use a method that is safe for you! Don't use Western Union! Use something like Paypal, AliPay (escrow).
Customize everything to your liking and then order samples! Don't make a large order of something that is custom that you have never seen. What if the printing is bad? Now you are stuck with 50 weight belts that say "Sassy" instead of "SASQUATCH"!
The video should show you pretty much everything you need to know. Just realize there is so much to learn, so do more research on your own. Don't get caught up in thinking about taxes, do you need an LLC, ect... Those are excuses that weak people make. I cannot give legal advice other than follow the law of your jurisdiction. You don't require an LLC to sell on Amazon, or from your own website/YouTube. Start small, you don't have to do all of this at once.
LIKE this video to help save the wild Sasquatch. Help preserve this majestic creature. (*your LIKE does nothing but let people know this is a great video, with a damn sexy host, who is strong and probably really good in bed) Don't be afraid to fail. BE CONFIDENT GODDAMMIT!
All of this info applies to every site and applies to any kind of brand you want to create.
What if I told you everything you thought was hard was actually easy?
