► 5 Worst High Cholesterol Foods You Must Avoid [Clinically Proven]

05:39
See how my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs: ►►►http://drsam.co/yt/StartLoweringYourCholesterolNaturally =============================== 5 Worst High Cholesterol Foods You Must Avoid [Clinically Proven] =============================== Cholesterol has many benefits and it’s definitely NOT your “enemy”. In fact, “low” cholesterol is just as bad as “high” cholesterol levels. However, there are certain foods that are really bad for you and can quickly increase your “bad” cholesterol levels and dramatically increase your risk for heart disease, a heart attack or stroke. Under this video I’ve got a special bonus video about how you can quickly lower your cholesterol levels in less than 30 days, naturally - without changing your diet or exercising. So make sure you take a look... However, let’s first start with the 5 worsts, clinically proven - “high cholesterol” foods that you must avoid! Dairy I’ve been saying this for over 2 decades - Milk is for babies and cow milk is for baby cows! Additionally, 99% of dairy products are pasteurized, which kills any benefits milk could have. Not to mention, the toxins, hormones and drugs these animals are given are highly concentrated in the milk - which goes inside of YOU! All of these factors, plus the saturated fat inside milk, increases your cholesterol and stresses your liver. It doesn’t matter if it’s whole, low or nonfat dairy, it’s all the same. Unfortunately, this also includes two of my favorite foods, ice cream and cheese! Fast Foods It doesn’t matter if it’s a burger, tacos, french fries, pizza or anything else - they’re all high in carbohydrates, hydrogenated and saturated fats, using unhealthy and toxic proteins. It’s cheap food. It may be easy and good for your wallet, but it’s bad for your health and cholesterol levels and you’ll pay the price later in life. Animal Protein The saturated fats and “marble fat” found in meat, pork, poultry and shell-fish is horrible for your health and cholesterol levels. I’ve noticed even grass-fed meat and free-range poultry can still cause high cholesterol in some of my patients, especially the “sensitive” ones. Limit your intake and focus more on vegetable proteins and fish - especially wild-caught salmon. Eggs Eggs can be good or bad. All the cholesterol and fat is located in the egg YOLK, which is why most “experts” say you should only consume egg whites. However, most of the nutrients, antioxidants and half the essential amino acids (protein) are also found in the yolk. The problem is when you COOK the yolk - such as hard-boiled, scrambled and fried eggs. The heat oxidizes the egg and damages both the structure of the protein and fat. So the healthiest way to eat eggs is raw or lightly cooked, so the yolk is still runny. Don’t fry it with butter or vegetable fats. And make sure it’s organic, free-range eggs. Baked Foods/Carbs (Snacks Too) Baked foods such as muffins, cakes, breads, donuts, croissants, rolls, cookies, danishes, scones, pie, etc… The types of foods most people eat in the morning when they’re in a rush, or with their coffee or at work as a snack… These are all bad because they contain hydrogenated and saturated fats, as well as dairy. Not to mention, they’re high in simple carbohydrates and sugars. “Bad” fats increase cholesterol. “Bad” fats + carbs/sugar REALLY increase your cholesterol and lead to numerous health issues. The combination is super unhealthy. Under this same category -- “Snack Foods” such as chips, pretzels, crackers and similar items are almost as bad as these bakes foods. Magical Drink to Reduce CHOLESTEROL in 2 weeks Naturally || Works 100% || Homemade ||

Magical drink to reduce cholesterol in 2 weeks. With Only Half Cup A Day You Will Lower Your Cholesterol and Lose Belly Fat Like Crazy!!! With Only 3 Tablespoons A Day You Will Lower Your Cholesterol and Lose Belly Fat Like Crazy!!! Cholesterol is a fatty substance made by your body and found in certain foods. Your body needs some cholesterol in order to function properly, but having too much (high cholesterol) puts you at risk for having a heart attack or stroke. The extra cholesterol that isn’t used by your body builds up in blood vessel walls, causing blockages. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), having high cholesterol doubles your risk of heart disease. Total cholesterol = LDL + HDL + Triglycerides  LDL (low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also called "bad" cholesterol) HDL (high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also called "good" cholesterol) Triglycerides (fats carried in the blood from the food we eat. Excess calories, alcohol, or sugar in the body are converted into triglycerides and stored in fat cells throughout the body.) The good news is that lifestyle changes are effective in helping you reduce cholesterol levels. They’re also fairly straightforward and can be done at any age. Exercise: Physical activity helps you lose weight and boosts your HDL levels. Aim for 30 to 60 minutes a day of moderate cardio. Eat more fiber: Replace white breads and pastas with whole grains. Eat healthy fats: Olive oil, avocado, and nuts all have fats that won’t raise your LDL. Limit cholesterol intake: Reduce the amount of high-saturated fat foods like cheese, whole milk, and high-fat red meats. Quit smoking. It’s important to remember that everyone is different. Family history and whether or not you have other conditions, such as diabetes, plays a role in your individual risks. Talk to your doctor about your cholesterol levels and ask what he or she thinks your numbers should be. how to reduce cholesterol quickly how to lower cholesterol without medication lower cholesterol diet how to lower your cholesterol in 2 days supplements to lower cholesterol how to reduce cholesterol naturally home remedies foods to avoid with high cholesterol how to control cholesterol in indian diet how to prevent heart attack with food how to prevent heart attack naturally how to avoid heart attack while sleeping how to prevent heart attack when alone how to prevent a heart attack while it's happening how to prevent heart attack at night how to prevent heart attack from happening how to avoid heart attack symptoms how to prevent a stroke naturally foods that prevent stroke how to stop a stroke in progress how to prevent a stroke after a mini stroke how to prevent a stroke aspirin how to prevent a stroke or heart attack how to prevent a stroke from happening again stroke prevention diet To view more, click here: https://goo.gl/ONjJau SUBSCRIBE: Click here: https://goo.gl/wsOEBM Connect with me on: Email: muskaanhamad@gmail.com Muskaan Science Academy: https://goo.gl/ndG6eG Google Plus: https://goo.gl/6bNOp4 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/muskaan.hamad Blog: http://beautyandmakeuptips2016.blogspot.com/ Tumblr: https://naturalhomeremedies.tumblr.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/muskaanhamad/ Vine: Search "Muskaan Hamad" on vine! Many studies associate breakfast with better concentration and memory, good health, lower levels of bad cholesterol, and lower chances of developing heart disease and diabetes and gaining weight. As a matter of fact, it is shown that people that consume breakfast on a regular basis are more healthy and leaner in comparison to those people who skip breakfast. Many people skip this meal and replace it with coffee. However, you should know that by doing that you might increase food cravings and disturb the function of the body. However, this does not mean that you can eat everything, it is crucial for you to have a healthy breakfast. The combination of these healthy ingredients can help burn calories, eliminate belly fat, regulate cholesterol and sugar levels in the blood. To prepare the perfect breakfast, you will need chia seeds and oats. Both of these ingredients are notably helpful for individuals who have the health conditions mentioned before. The oatmeal has beta-glucan. The beta-glucan is actually a soluble fiber which can reduce the bad cholesterol. In addition, consuming oatmeal on a regular basis can improve the cardiovascular health. Oats have thiamin, maganese, selenium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium and zinc. In fact, one cup of cooked oatmeal contains around 150 calories, 6 grams of proteins and 4 grams of fiber. The chia seeds are rich in omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids. These seeds have powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and are beneficial when it comes to the cardiovascular system. In fact, one ounce of chia seeds contains around 30 percent of maganese, 18 percent of calcium, small amounts of copper and potassium and 27 percent of phosphorus. According to many studies, the chia seeds can help treat diverticulosis and arthritis. Here is the complete recipe. 4 tablespoon of Chia seeds, 1 cup of oats, a Pinch of salt, 2 cups of water, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of honey. The healing powers of honey are well known throughout the world and cinnamon is also a very healthy spice for you. Once the water begins to boil, you need to lower the heat. After that add the oats in the pot and leave them for around 5 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat, cover it and leave it aside for 5 minutes. After this time, you need to stir well. Add the salt, honey and chia seeds and stir again. With all this done, your breakfast is ready to consume. Enjoy your healthy breakfast and its amazing benefits. If you find this video useful, share it with your friends and family.

WHY I STARTED EATING VEGAN | HOW I ELIMINATED HIGH CHOLESTEROL FOR GOOD

UPDATE: After 7 years, I no longer eat vegan. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and introduced animal products back into my diet to help with energy and hormone production. I will leave this video up in case it is beneficial to others. A health scare with high cholesterol made me think differently about the foods I was putting into my body. Our best man introduced me to the China Study and after that, I adopted a vegan plant based diet. Little did I know, my cholesterol levels dropped significantly and I am no longer being threatened with taking medication. With a vegan diet, I have beat my genetics and no longer face high cholesterol. Welcome to Seeking Finding Heart! 🥛 NEVER Eat These 5 Foods If You Want To Lower High Cholesterol

04:47
How my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/Normal-Cholesterol Or you can see the most powerful fruit for lowering cholesterol: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYFY4Vl19Fo ======================================= 🥛 NEVER Eat These 5 Foods If You Want To Lower High Cholesterol ======================================= Heart disease is the #1 killer in the world and has been for decades. Many people think that high cholesterol is the cause - but it’s not. It’s just ONE of many factors. Sadly, doctors immediately try to prescribe you cholesterol lowering statin drugs when there’s no need. High AND low cholesterol are both bad for your health. Cholesterol is needed for hormone production and every single cell in your body needs cholesterol - including brain cells. Unfortunately, many people eat what they think are “healthy foods”, but are actually not good for them and are causing high cholesterol levels. So today I’m going to reveal 5 foods you should avoid, especially if you want to have HEALTHY cholesterol levels: 1 - Baked Foods/Carbs Stay away from baked foods like muffins, cakes, breads, donuts, croissants, rolls, cookies, danishes, scones, pie, etc… As well as “packaged” foods such as chips, pretzels, crackers and similar items These are all bad because they contain hydrogenated and saturated fats, as well as dairy. Not to mention, they’re high in simple carbohydrates and sugars. The combination of fats and sugars in these foods increases cholesterol and plaque buildup even more, in addition to higher triglycerides, inflammation, high blood sugar and blood pressure. ALL of these combined is what causes heart disease. 2 - DAIRY I’m a firm believe that regardless of anything you read, you should stay away from dairy or at least limit it. This is because milk is for babies and cow milk is for baby cows. We are the only animals who continue to consume milk products after the initial “baby” stage. It’s NOT natural. Besides, 99% of dairy products are pasteurized, which kills any benefits milk could have. Not to mention, the toxins, hormones and drugs these animals are given are highly concentrated in the milk - which goes inside of YOU! These toxins stress your liver and cause an increase in cholesterol. Remember, 80% of your cholesterol is made IN YOUR LIVER. 3 - Animal Protein The saturated fats and “marble fat” found in meat, pork, poultry and shellfish is horrible for your health and cholesterol levels. I’ve noticed even grass-fed meat and free-range poultry can still cause high cholesterol in some of my patients, especially the “sensitive” ones. Limit your intake and focus more on vegetable proteins and fish - especially wild-caught salmon. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/food-and-nutrition/NU00202 4 - Fast Foods It doesn’t matter if it’s a burger, tacos, french fries, pizza or anything else - they’re all high in carbohydrates, hydrogenated, saturated and omega 6 fats, using unhealthy and toxic proteins. It may be easy and good for your wallet because they’re cheap foods -- but it’s bad for your health and cholesterol levels and you’ll pay a higher price later in life. http://www.heart.org/HEARTORG/Conditions/Cholesterol/PreventionTreatmentofHighCholesterol/Cooking-for-Lower-Cholesterol_UCM_305630_Article.jsp#.WCd_XySlGFU 5 - Eggs Eggs can be good or bad. The heat oxidizes the egg and damages the structure of the fat. However, the egg yolk can actually increase your “good” HDL cholesterol and this is done when you eat the yolk that’s still soft and runny. Raw eggs are great or soft boiled. Make sure it’s organic, pastured, free-range eggs. ======================================== Thank you for watching. Please feel free to comment, like or share with your friends. Lower Your Cholesterol Without Medication: http://infousa1.com/lower-cholesterol-without-medication Visit The Webpage Now. This video provides info to answer the question How To Lower Cholesterol Without Medication? Choose The Link Options To Visit That Website Now. What is cholesterol? A very simple explanation is that cholesterol is a waxy, fat like, substance. It is predominately found within the bodies of humans and many animals. It is in our bloodstream and throughout our body's cells. We need cholesterol to help our brain, skin, and other organs grow and work the way they should. The liver makes cholesterol for the body. Plus, people also add excess cholesterol into their bodies through the foods that they choose to eat. Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL) is considered the “bad” cholesterol because too much of it can turn into a thick, hard deposit called plague. It can clog arteries which can lead to many health problems including a heart attack or stroke. High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL) is considered “good” cholesterol because it actually helps to remove the LDL cholesterol. So the real objective is not just simply lowering cholesterol. It is to maintain a good level of HDL. While reducing the presence of the LDL in you blood system. And, just like many things with our health, diet plays a very important role. There are foods that can help you do this naturally without drugs. Here are 5 that you will see over and over again. Oatmeal: Switching up your breakfast to regularly having a bowl of plain oatmeal can lower LDL cholesterol. Whole oats have a substance that absorbs the LDL. Your body then excretes it. Blueberries: There has been research that suggests blueberries may actually turn down the liver's production of cholesterol in your body Salmon, Tuna Mackerel, Trout: Omega-3 has numerous health benefits to the brain, heart, joints, and more. But on the topic of cholesterol Omega-3 has been shown to significantly increase the HDL while simultaneously lowering LDL. Walnuts, Almonds, Pistachios: Walnuts are high in a type of acid that has been shown to reduce LDL plague build up. A study showed pistachios lowers total and LDL cholesterol and can reduce the risk of diabetes-related disease in the arteries. Another study showed the more almond that were eaten the lower LDL dropped. Black Beans: Beans are also considered a Super Food. And there are many other health beneficial beans. But black beans have the richest source of soluble fiber which is a proven LDL cholesterol lowering agent. Exercise: Yes... there's just no escaping it. When it comes to health, you have to move your body. Exercise has been proven to lower cholesterol. Tips For You on a Diet for Lowering High Cholesterol and Losing Weight

05:09
http://AllWeightLossNow.com Tips For You On A Diet For Lowering High Cholesterol And Losing Weight If you have high cholesterol it is important to get yourself on a diet for lowering cholesterol and losing weight. Many Americans worry about their cholesterol levels, especially those who are over weight. In most cases the first step in resolving your high cholesterol and shedding those extra pounds; is changing your diet. You will discover some pretty convincing evidence, in this article, which will convince you, to improve your health by losing weight and lowering your cholesterol. A recent study completed by The School of Medicine at Stanford University showed that with both diet and exercise, you can significantly reduce your cholesterol and get rid of the extra weight. The study was done with over 300 men and women with high cholesterol. In order to control the groups the first group was put on a low fat diet. Then the second was put on the same diet with an exercise program. After a year the group with both diet and exercise had lower cholesterol. The group that didnt incorporate exercise didnt have a loss as significant as the first group. Eating a low cholesterol diet has shown to lower cholesterol by 8% to 20%. There are a few low cholesterol diets that have proven to work well. These diets include; the Dash Diet, The South Beach Diet, The Ultra Metabolism Diet, and The Weight Watchers Diet. Every one of these diets has online programs or books to guide you through the diet with menu plans and instructions. As an addition to your low cholesterol diet you should make sure to eat plenty of Vitamin C. Vitamin C is used to fix natural cracks and fractures in your arteries. If you dont get enough Vitamin C your body will substitute it with cholesterol. If you make sure to get enough of the vitamin as part of your low cholesterol diet, your liver will not be forced to produce excess cholesterol. In another study done, with sixty heart bypass surgery patients, it was shown that eating grapefruit everyday lowers your cholesterol. The study had the patients divided into three groups. One group was given red grapefruit. One group was given white grapefruit. However the last group was not given any grapefruit and had no diet restrictions. The study showed that the groups that ate grapefruit regularly as part of a low cholesterol diet showed a significant drop in cholesterol. Whereas the group without restrictions, which didnt eat any grapefruit, didnt show any drop in cholesterol. Additional studies have shown that women that have eaten five to six smaller meals had lower cholesterol and better weight control; than those that ate fewer larger meals. If you eat many small meals with a low cholesterol diet and fewer calories you will be able to lower your cholesterol by about 5% and drop your weight. There is no question, having high cholesterol and being over weight, is very dangerous to your health. However, if you suffer from being over weight and high cholesterol there are some simple things you can do to lower both your weight and high cholesterol level. As the above information indicated it doesnt have to be complicated. Simply get yourself on a diet for lowering high cholesterol, combine it with a good exercise program and you are on your way to better health.

Raised total cholesterol is the leading cause of disease burden in both the developing and developed world as a risk factor for stroke and ischemic heart disease. Statins are commonly prescribed for individuals who have high levels of LDL, or “bad” cholesterol. Statins are also some of the most widely prescribed medications in the world. For instance, Lipitor, the most popular type of statins, has lifetime sales of more than $131 billion. Unfortunately, the reduction in blood cholesterol of statins translates into only minimal improvements in the health of the arteries, as seen by tiny reductions in heart disease.  Plus, statins have plenty of side effects, including - nausea, muscle pain, and damage to the liver and nervous system. Here is a list of 30 best foods for high cholesterol that really reduce the risk of heart disease: #1 Garlic #2 Red Cabbage #3 Turmeric #4 Oat Bran #5 Flax Seeds #6 Walnuts #7 Kidney Beans #8 Cinnamon #9 Ginger #10 Pistachio #11 Sweet Potatoes #12 Almonds #13 Quinoa #14 Chickpeas #15 Red Onion #16 Pecans #17 Cayenne Pepper #18 Sunflower Seeds #19 Pineapples #20 Mangoes #21 Brown Rice #22 Cashews #23 Millet #24 Lentils #25 Chia Seeds #26 Papayas #27 Sesame Seeds #28 Peanuts #29 Radishes #30 Carrots Thank you. Unhealthy lifestyle and eating outdoors regularly can increase your risk of heart diseases. One way to maintain a healthy heart is to increase good cholesterol and lower bad cholesterol. Ayurveda has remedies that can help you control cholesterol and improve heart health. Cholesterol is something that the body needs to build and maintain cellular health. Technically it is known as a lipid and is a fatty or wax-like material that circulates in the bloodstream. There are two kinds of cholesterol, and you have probably already heard about them, but they are: LDL - this is the "bad" cholesterol that can cling to arterial walls and create blockages that result in strokes and heart attacks. HDL - this is the good type that is going to actually protect you from heart disease. We get cholesterol from our foods, but our bodies can make it too. Hence this leads to high levels of cholesterol in the arteries. In Ayurveda, certain herbs, Ayurveda treatments and remedies can lower high cholesterol. These are: - Garlic: Garlic is the most common herb that is used in Indian cooking and no dish tastes the same without it. Having two to three garlic cloves a day can break down bad cholesterol and free it from the arterial walls. - Coriander: This green herb adds freshness, flavour and colour to any meal. Coriander is a diuretic that will flush out waste and even excess cholesterol. - Tulsi: Tulsi disintegrates cholesterol from the arteries and washes it from the body. - Arjuna or Terminalia Arjuna: Arjuna's white bark has medicinal properties that dissolve cholesterol from the arteries. Arjuna's bark is made into a powder available at several stores.

Want to LOWER Your HIGH CHOLESTEROL LEVEL Naturally? 5 NATURAL Ways To LOWER Your CHOLESTEROL LEVEL

Lowering Cholesterol Naturally http://bit.ly/2hRRkvg Tips: HERE ARE DRUG-FREE ALTERNATIVES FOR LOWERING LDL (BAD) CHOLESTEROL http://bit.ly/2ye1X1R. To avoid a heart attack http://bit.ly/2zDnYv7, research has found that a key strategy is getting LDL (bad) cholesterol http://bit.ly/2yFkSad way down. Striving for LDL levels of 100 and below is good, but dropping to 80 and lower may be even better. Go ahead, binge on beans! Enjoy all kinds! Black beans. White beans. Red beans. Pinto beans. Adzuki beans. They're all champions at actively lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol http://bit.ly/2ye1X1R. LDL levels of 81 Ground-breaking research published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) studied nearly 9,000 European patients. All had previously suffered heart attacks. The trial found that those who reduced their LDL levels to an average 81 with high-dose statins significantly reduced their risk of major coronary events like heart attacks and strokes at the 4.8 year follow-up compared to patients who reduced their LDL to 104 on usual-dose statin therapy. Lower LDL Levels are better In a JAMA editorial accompanying the study, Christopher P. Cannon, MD, of Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School wrote that aggressive LDL lowering is the ideal – “lower is better.” The JAMA study’s findings echo those of another large 4,162-patient study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine. It concluded that LDL cholesterol levels of 62 were even better than levels of 95 at preventing death, heart attacks, and other cardiovascular-related problems in people with heart disease. Drugs’ negative effects In both studies, mega-doses of statins (a doubling and tripling of regular doses) drove LDL levels way down. But in both studies, mega-doses also caused problems. Suffering from adverse side effects like muscle pain, memory loss, and elevated liver enzymes, patients on the high doses stopped taking their medications at twice the rate of patients on regular doses. Muscle pain, also called myopathy, occurs in 2% to 11% of people treated with statins, reported investigators at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, and although the pain usually subsides once the statin is discontinued, it can take several months to do so. Like previous studies, the Wisconsin scientists also found that the negative side effects of statins increased as dosages increased. Medication-free alternatives “That’s why drug-free alternatives like the Pritikin Program are so important,” advises Dr. William McCarthy, UCLA School of Public Health and member of the Pritikin Scientific Advisory Board. “For people who cannot tolerate maximum doses of statins, or for those wanting to minimize their dependence on drugs, the Pritikin Program of diet and exercise – or a combination of low-dose statins plus the Pritikin Program – offers a much safer option for lowering LDL cholesterol to levels significantly below 100.” Lowering cholesterol naturally In research on more than 4,500 men and women following the Pritikin Program of diet and exercise, LDL levels plummeted 23%, and in just three weeks. 39% drop in LDL Levels And in a study by UCLA scientists in conjunction with the nonprofit Pritikin Foundation, men and women nearly doubled their reductions in cholesterol, averaging a 39% drop, when they supplemented regular-dose statin therapy with the diet-and-exercise lifestyle of the Pritikin Program.

Why Cholesterol Can Go High on a Ketogenic Diet

02:10
Tell Me Your Success with Before & After Images: https://www.drberg.com/add-client-success-story Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz Your report will then be sent via email analyzing 104 potential symptoms, giving you a much deeper insight into the cause-effect relationship of your body issues. It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg talks about cholesterol being high on a ketogenic diet. This is an oversimplified talk and for more detailed data - see the video on LDL. However, as your fat cells shrink, the fat cell not only releases triglycerides, but cholesterol too. Many people do not know the fat cells are filled with both. The excess cholesterol needs to either be eliminated through the liver and gallbladder (bile) or be recycled. This is all a normal process on ketosis. Hey guys, I want to talk about what will happen if your cholesterol went high on a ketogenic diet. The first thing you should know is that when you lose weight, the fat cells actually shrink. They won’t go away completely, you can’t get rid of the fat cells but you can shrink it. Second thing you need to know is inside that fat cell you have, triglycerides and cholesterol. A lot of people don’t realize that cholesterol is also stored in the fat cells. As the fat cell shrinks, you can burn triglycerides for fuel but you cannot burn cholesterol, it is not a fuel source. It is going to be eliminated to the body as you lose weight. As the fat cell is squeezed, the cholesterol is going to increase in the blood and is going to go in the liver and comes out to the bile. As long as your liver is healthy and you’re eating a lot of vegetables, and you have enough bile, you are totally fine even if your LDL is fine. The key thing is to make sure that your triglycerides are low because if you are not using your triglycerides as a fuel then there is a problem, you are probably eating too much sugar but when you are in ketogenic diet and you are doing it correctly and your triglycerides are low and your HDL and LDL is high, all that means is that you are burning more LDL and there is no bad effects that are going to happen, just keep your vegetables high and as you keep closer to your weight loss goal, that will level out and come back normal. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, 51 years of age is a chiropractor who specializes in weight loss through nutritional and natural methods. His private practice is located in Alexandria, Virginia. His clients include senior officials in the U.S. government and the Justice Department, ambassadors, medical doctors, high-level executives of prominent corporations, scientists, engineers, professors, and other clients from all walks of life. He is the author of The 7 Principles of Fat Burning, published by KB Publishing in January 2011. 8 Foods That Can Cause High Cholesterol

8 Foods That Can Cause High Cholesterol. According to the American Heart Association (AHA), saturated fat and fat transfer can increase cholesterol levels in the blood, leaving you at risk for heart disease. Many foods from animals-such as meat and dairy products that contain fat-containing saturated fats, while the baked products and fast food contains trans fats because the levels of LDL cholesterol ("bad") in particular may be too high for many dietary substances saturated fat, the AHA recommends that saturated fat occupies from 5 to 6% of your calories. Although it is important to limit the amount of cholesterol you get from food, which is a combination of fat and carbohydrates can have the greatest impact to your blood cholesterol levels. According to the AHA, you can make the egg becomes a part of a healthy diet, as long as you don't load the cholesterol from other sources, such as meat containing fat or skin and visible fat milk. However, before you purchase the double cheeseburger, consider this: A McDonald's Big Mac contains 10 grams of saturated fat and a Wendy's Classic Double With Everything has a whopping 20g saturated fat (which is the recommended maximum amount each day). By replacing 1% milk and evaporated milk for whole milk and butter and using reduced-fat cheese, you can reduce the amount of calories and have pasta and cheese with about a third of the fat and saturated fat than formula tradition. Whipped cream beats biscuits and candies such as the most common desserts; but did you know that a cup of single cream has more fat than burgers and almost twice the saturated fat of glazed cake?. Even in the best case (cooked in olive oil after the fat be trimmed), a 4 ounce steak (just a little larger than a card pieces) accounted for a large part of the level of the recommended daily allowance for saturated fat. For example, a chicken leg with the skin still on it has more fat and saturated fat than a hamburger. The fat is the result of the addition of hydrogen to vegetable oil, which are then used in many commercial baking goods or fried foods such as biscuits, cakes, French fries, onions and biscuits.

5 Foods To Avoid For High Cholesterol

03:40
Follow us on Twitter: @foods4health1 Recipes4Health: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2bZhXBHIb51n1fE3VWPmcQ/videos To learn more about the health benefits of food, visit: http://www.benefitsoffood.blogspot.com With heart disease on the rise in countries around the world, it is important that we are staying away from foods and food sources that can contribute to high cholesterol and increase the risk of heart disease. If you have high cholesterol or are at risk of developing it, there are foods you will want to avoid so that you can maintain healthy cholesterol levels and improve your overall cardiovascular health. Not only will avoiding these high cholesterol foods help lower your cholesterol levels, but they can also help to reduce inflammation that can reduce the risk of heart disease and also help with weight loss. Now, lets discuss some foods you will want to avoid if you have high cholesterol or want to limit your chances of developing it. 1. First, processed meats such as deli meats and bacon should be avoided for high cholesterol. There have been a number of studies that have shown that processed meats have been associated with elevated cholesterol levels, as well as an increase in cardiovascular disease. Processed meats such as bacon, sausage and hot dogs should all be avoided if you want to reduce your risk of heart disease and lower cholesterol levels. To make matters worse, these processed meats are often high in saturated and trans fats, as well as sodium, which can be a major detriment to your cholesterol levels and overall heart health. 2. You will want to avoid processed vegetable oils as well as they can increase your cholesterol levels. Hydrogenated oils can be especially bad for your cholesterol levels since they contain high levels of trans fats. Many studies have shown that these trans fats increase “bad” LDL cholesterol levels while also lowering “good” HDL cholesterol. Other oils that you may want to avoid when it comes to cholesterol is corn oil and vegetable oil, as these oils can also raise both total and LDL cholesterol levels. 3. Almost everyone enjoyed cookies and other baked goods. However, these high sugar products can wreak havoc on your overall cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels and should be avoided if you want to maintain healthy cholesterol levels. Research shows that sugar and added sugars are associated with increased “bad” LDL cholesterol and triglycerides in the body. Not only that, but these sugars will lower the “good” HDL cholesterol in your body as well. Baked goods aren’t the only high sugar foods you will want to avoid for high cholesterol, but sweetened drinks such as soda and fruit juices can also lead to undesired cholesterol levels, as well as increase inflammation and the risk of heart disease. 4. Surprising to some, but refined grain products and other refined carbohydrates can also have negative consequences on cholesterol and should be avoided as best you can. Foods such as bagels, white pasta and white bread can all negatively effect your “bad” LDL cholesterol levels. As studies have shown, these refined grains and carbohydrates have a high glycemic index rating, which can significantly raise your cholesterol levels and risk for heart disease. 5. Lastly, if you want to reduce your risk of high cholesterol or if you have high cholesterol currently, you will want to avoid high fat dairy products. High fat milk and dairy products contain fatty acids, and many of these products can have a negative impact on your cholesterol. The saturated and trans fats found in these dairy products can increase total plasma cholesterol levels, especially “bad” LDL cholesterol. As well, you will want to avoid these dairy products as they will not only increase cholesterol levels, but also increase your risk of heart disease, inflammation and weight gain. Lower High Cholesterol A high LDL cholesterol level is medically known as hypercholesterolemia. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), over one-third of American adults have high levels of LDL or bad cholesterol. This increases the risk of cardiovascular disease, including heart disease and heart attacks. People of all ages, ethnicities and genders can have high cholesterol. Please note: The content provided below and elsewhere on this video is not intended nor should it be construed as providing professional medical or nutritional advice. Do not rely on information provided on this video for your health problems. instead, consult a qualified medical professional for advice. Here are the top 10 super foods to lower cholesterol. 01:02 Oatmeal 02:05 Almonds 03:09 Orange Juice. 04:07 Salmon 05:06 Soybeans and Soy Products. Having a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast daily is another easy way to lower your high cholesterol level. The high soluble fiber content in oatmeal helps lower LDL. It reduces the absorption of cholesterol into your bloodstream. Fiber also fills you up quickly and helps you avoid mindless eating. The heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, polyunsaturated fats and fiber in almonds help raise good HDL cholesterol and reduce the bad LDL levels. A 2011 study published in Nutrition Review found that consumption of tree nuts like almonds help reduce LDL cholesterol, a primary target for coronary disease prevention, by 3 to 19 percent. Sweet, tangy and juicy oranges are another superfood that has cholesterol-lowering properties. In a 2000 study published in the American Society for Clinical Nutrition journal, researchers found that orange juice improves blood lipid profiles in people who have hypercholesterolemia. This happens due to the presence of vitamin C, folate and flavonoids like hesperidin in oranges. The omega-3 fatty acids called EPA and DHA found in salmon provide protection against high cholesterol. It helps lower triglycerides and boosts good HDL cholesterol slightly, thus lowering the risk of heart disease. In addition, salmon is low in cholesterol and saturated fat. Soybeans and other soy products offer a complete plant-based protein that is great for those who suffer from high cholesterol. Although soy may not lower total cholesterol to a great extent, it can still lower bad LDL cholesterol. This high-protein food contains high levels of polyunsaturated fats, fiber, vitamins and minerals as well as low levels of saturated fat. 💓 Natural Alternatives To Statin Cholesterol Lowering Drugs

How my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/Low-Cholesterol Or you can see 5 WORST high cholesterol foods: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QyL7WydW_c Refferences: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3108295/ http://www.nature.com/nrd/journal/v2/n7/full/nrd1112.html http://www.nature.com/nrd/journal/v2/n7/fig_tab/nrd1112_I1.html www.fda.gov/.../ucm082054.htm Endo A. Discovery and development of the statins. In: Gaw A, Packard CJ, Shepherd J. Statins: The HMG CoA reductase inhibitors in perspective. CRC Press, 1999; pp. 35-47. https://cen.acs.org/articles/87/i23/Story-Statins.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homocysteine ======================================= 💓 Natural Alternatives To Statin Cholesterol Lowering Drugs ======================================= One of the best selling and most profitable drugs for over 2 decades are cholesterol lowering, “statin drugs”. The first “commercially” available, FDA approved statin was introduced over 30 years ago (lovastatin 1997) and this was formulated based on a natural substance, that I’ll reveal to you in a minute. The most popular ones that you’ve probably heard of are Lipitor (Atorvastatin), Crestor (Rosuvastatin) and Zocor (Simvastatin). Muscle pain AND damage. Just keep in mind that your body, including your HEART is functional ONLY because of your muscles. Liver Damage 80% of your cholesterol is made within the liver, NOT from the foods you eat. These drugs go inside your liver, prevent the formation of cholesterol and in the process, DAMAGE your liver. Elevated Blood Sugar and Type 2 Diabetes One of the worst things for again and every problem in your body is high blood sugar and insulin levels. Neurological Problems Sure, it causes depression, anxiety, panic attacks, worry, etc., etc. I’m not even going to get into arthritis, elevated blood pressure and probably the WORST problem of all - hormonal imbalances. Natural Alternatives So let’s get right to it, I’ll make this quick. First, your goal is NOT to have “low” cholesterol, you want HEALTHY cholesterol levels. Additionally and more importantly, you ALSO want optimal ratios of your HDL (“good” cholesterol/lipoprotein) and LDL (“bad” cholesterol/lipoprotein). Well, that’s from Red Yeast Rice, which is a common food in Asia. The natural form of this extract, in small doses, has all the positive “cholesterol lowering” benefits, but without the negatives of the synthetic drugs. Other Cholesterol Optimizing Herbs Other clinically proven, natural herbal extracts that promote health cholesterol levels and balanced lipid levels, which are: Artichoke Leaf Extract Phytosterols Complex Garlic Policosanol Instead of taking thyroid drugs, I suggest taking Guggulsterones (10% Pure Extract; E and Z) Iodine (Kelp Extract) Cleanse Your Liver As stated earlier, most people don’t know that 80% of your cholesterol is created within your body, by your liver… and NOT from the foods you eat. This is why many times, the change in your diet doesn’t make dramatic improvements in cholesterol levels. Thus, the stronger your liver, the easier your body will eliminate and detox “excess cholesterol” from your blood. The irony is that ALL drugs, especially statins, cause liver damage and thus, will eventually increase your cholesterol levels. But, since this is almost impossible for most people, I suggest you take Milk Thistle (80% Extract) NAC (N-Acetyl L-Cysteine) - which also boost your immune system. R+ Alpha Lipoic Acid (r+ ALA) - which also helps lower your blood sugar. Reduce Homocysteine Levels All doctors are so focused on improving cholesterol to help you avoid heart disease, a heart attack or stroke -- that they forget (or don’t KNOW!) about something super important and that’s your Homocysteine Levels. In fact, researchers now believe that testing homocysteine levels is over 47% more accurate at predicting heart disease, than checking cholesterol. The cool part is that you can easily and quickly improve Homocysteine levels by simply taking a specific ratio of certain B-Vitamins Vitamin B6 (as pyridoxine HCL) Vitamin B12 (as methylcobalamin) Folate (as 5-Methyl-tetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF)) Vitamin B5 [Pantesin® d-Pantethine (special form of B5)] Reduce Inflammation Finally, one of the leading causes of many illnesses and diseases is inflammation. And there are a few ingredients that’ll help reduce it, 3 of my favorites are: Turmeric (95% curcuminoids Extract) Ginger (10% extract) Mixed Vit. E - Tocotrienols (90% Delta &10% Gamma Tocotrienols) ======================================== Thank you for watching. Please feel free to comment, like or share with your friends. 6 Foods That Fight High Cholesterol

03:06
For more information on the 6 Foods That Fight High Cholesterol, CLICK HERE: http://www.lowcaloriesfoods.com/10-pounds Reducing LDL levels in your blood by 10% helps you reduce your risk of having a heart attack by 20 to 30%. This is something you can successfully achieve through certain foods that lower your high cholesterol.   As part of a balanced diet, you must first eliminate foods high in saturated fat, such as sausages, butter, and cream, which are the main triggers of blood cholesterol, according to the National Health Service UK.    On the other hand, there are some foods that, thanks to their high amounts of soluble fiber, help to eliminate the cholesterol that enters the bloodstream. And others that provide polyunsaturated fats that diminish existing ones.   Meet some, based on information from Harvard Medical School.   1. Beans.   Another benefit is that they provide a prolonged feeling of satiety because it takes time for the body to digest them, which is also useful if you try to lose weight.   2. Dried fruits.   Eating almonds, nuts, and peanuts, among others, is good for your heart. Consuming 56 grams of nuts a day decreases about 5% of cholesterol.   3. Fatty fish.   Consume them two or three times a week, so you reduce cholesterol in two ways: by replacing meat, and by adding omega-3 fats, which lower triglycerides in the blood.   4. Oats.   Eat it in its natural form or in a cold oatmeal cereal, and add 1 to 2 grams of soluble fiber to your diet. As a complement, you can add bananas or strawberries that give flavor.   5. Whole grains.   Bread, pasta, and whole grains also help prevent blood sugar from rising. You can include 220 grams of these foods a day, distributed throughout your meals.   6. Vegetable oil.   As the sunflower, olive or corn, vegetable oil, are excellent options to replace those you usually use for cooking. Also, add them to your salads in moderate amounts.   When cholesterol levels in the blood rise, hypercholesterolemia occurs. People with amounts in 240 have twice the risk of having a myocardial infarction than those with 200, says the Spanish Heart Foundation. Let us know your opinions in the comments section below. 6 SIGNS THAT YOU MAY HAVE HIGH CHOLESTEROL

05:02
Why is it so important to keep cholesterol at the normal levels and how to maintain it within the health limits? Cholesterol is a vital, fat-like substance that is contained in each cell of our body, as well as in our blood. Most of the cholesterol is produced by the liver, and the rest is procured through food. Please subscribe, click the bell and watch this video until the end to know the complete information. Cholesterol has extremely important reasons for our body and functions: it participates in the construction of cell membranes and in the formation of sexes and adrenal hormones; without cholesterol, the body can not synthesize vitamin D, which is indispensable to healthy bones, nor produces bile acid, without which fat in the body cannot be processed properly. When an excess of cholesterol accumulates in the body, it can not be broken down and this increases the risks to our health. The main danger is the onset of atherosclerosis, which in turn is the cause of most cardiovascular diseases such as a heart attack for example. The causes of increased levels of cholesterol in the blood are different: hereditary predisposition, chronic liver disease thyroid gland and diabetes. A sure way to maintain a normal cholesterol level is regular testing. Specialists recommend except for total, to monitor still poor (LDL) and good (HDL) cholesterol, as well as triglycerides. It is known that 20 years is the age in which the first examination for determining the values of cholesterol should be done. Revealed in time, increased cholesterol can be overcome and can not lead to serious health problems later. Here are 6 signs that you may have high cholesterol. 1. yellow growths on your eyelids. Did you know that yellowish eyelid can be a sign of high cholesterol? Take a good look at the eyelids, if you notice yellow spots, make a doctor’s appointment, check your cholesterol levels and your heart’s health. Also, do you notice painless yellow growths of the upper and lower eyelids? This phenomenon is called “xanthelasma” and it is a clear indication that you have high blood cholesterol levels. 2. gray-colored ring around your cornea. Often this is a sign of aging, so it should not be a cause for worry. But if you are far from retired, the gray circle around the iris may indicate high cholesterol and blood fat, which very often means a risk of heart attack or stroke. This gray colored ring or lacquer is actually composed of cholesterol that collects in the deeper parts of your cornea. 3. tingling sensation in the hands and feet. The tingling sensation of the hands and feet may indicate a problem in your body. This should be taken seriously because these symptoms can be caused by serious health problems. If the blood vessels are blocked by cholesterol, it is likely that you will feel tingling in your hands and feet, because your peripheral nerves are not getting do enough blood oxygen and nutrients for their proper functioning. 4. pain in the neck and back of the head. Because cholesterol levels that are too high can cause some of your blood vessels to block, it’s very possible that your circulation is obstructed. Such can leave your neck sensitive and deteriorate from time to time. The shoulder can also be felt in the same way. Medical practitioners say that high blood cholesterol levels can also make you have a headache, especially in the back of your head. 5. rapid or pounding beating of the heart. When a person says that she has heart palpitations, she thinks of the inner feeling that her heart beats something different from the usual one. Or, it simply has the awareness of the heartbeat. Most of the time, heart palpitations are harmless and they are often experienced after exercise or engaging in the intense physical activity. Sometimes they are due to anxiety, stress, and the intake of certain drugs. Palpitations may also indicate problems with the cardiovascular system, but and high cholesterol levels are one of them. Clogging the blood vessels due to cholesterol can lead to an accelerated operation of your heart. 6. unhealthy diet and lifestyle. If you eat plenty of fatty foods and avoid fruits and vegetables that contain a lot of fiber if you are a smoker and if you drink alcohol in excessive amounts, if you are overweight and do not exercise regularly, then there is a great chance that your cholesterol level is already high. But sometimes high cholesterol depends on our genes. About 1 in 500 people have a specific genetic mutation that leads to the accumulation of cholesterol in their blood. These people suffer from high cholesterol regardless of their lifestyle. if you suspect that you may have high cholesterol then please start eating a healthy diet and get levels checked out at the hospital. Cholesterol and Heart Disease: Should You Worry About High LDL Levels? - Thomas DeLauer

Thomas DeLauer is not a doctor and his information should not be misconstrued as medical advice. Cholesterol and Heart Disease: Should You Worry About High LDL Levels? - Thomas DeLauer… LDL cholesterol is not the bad culprit that is leading to your heart disease. Don't listen to all the mainstream stuff out there that tells you if your cholesterol levels are high that you are inevitably going to end up with heart disease. Here's the thing: it literally comes down to something known as oxidized LDL. It's not LDL. It's the process in which inflammation envelops LDL. If you listen to this video and you understand what I say, I promise you that you can start finding a way to still eat the higher fat foods that you need without worrying about having cholesterol give you a heart attack. Pay attention to how this actually works within the body. LDL is needed first of all. It's not the bad cholesterol. It's only bad when it's oxidized. LDL cholesterol delivers what we need to the cell. LDL is the cholesterol that is heading to the cell to be utilized. HDL cholesterol, or good cholesterol, scavenges excess cholesterol and brings it back to the liver, so it's gotten a good name because it goes ahead and it picks up bad cholesterol that's laying around. The reality is they're both good. We need both of them. LDL becomes bad when it becomes oxidized. If you've ever heard of oxidative stress, well, that's just the thing. Have you ever heard of an antioxidant? We talk about them all the time. They're marketed all the time. Antioxidants get rid of oxidation or oxidative stress or free radicals within the body. It's only when a free radical combines with LDL that we have a problem. Here's how it works. When you have LDL, that cholesterol is going to do a specific job. A cell has a receptor where that LDL goes into the receptor and does its job within the cell. Now, what happens is that LDL can react with a free radical. Let's say you have a toxin that's in your body because you've been eating a lot of sugar. Those free radicals float through your bloodstream, and they hit the LDL. It causes a chemical reaction that causes that LDL to swell up. It causes it to swell up because it triggers white blood cells and macrophages to attract to it. Now, you've got this LDL that's no longer a nice, clean LDL. It's now a foamy, spongy, soft LDL that's been exceptionally sticky. What happens? They aggregate. All of those LDL cells that are now sticky, that aggregate and they continue to pile on until they are just a smorgasbord of LDL cells that are not functioning properly. They are sticky, they are foamy, and they are oxidized. Then they stick to your arterial wall, but guess what? It's not the sticking to the arterial wall that's really even the bad thing. What happens is they actually enter through the endothelial layer of your artery, which means it actually enters into the cell. Enter into the actual wall of the artery. Then, when that happens, it triggers more inflammation because now the endothelial cells are like, "Whoa. What's this invader doing?" You have more inflammation that goes to the cells, so now not only do you have a plaque of sticky, foamy, oxidized LDL, but you have an arterial wall that is swollen with an inflammatory response. Your arterial wall went from this to this, but it gets worse. Now that you have this oxidized LDL, it actually inhibits the production of nitric oxide. That inhibition of nitric oxide means that you no longer have nitric oxide to allow those endothelial cells to relax and allow the vasodilation or the relaxation of the blood vessel. High Cholesterol - Simple & Natural Ayurvedic Home Remedies to reduce LDL in the body

02:36
Cholesterol levels rise when there is an excess of fat cells in the blood. Cholesterol is of two types, LDL cholesterol, which is the bad cholesterol, and HDL, which is the good cholesterol. Though cholesterol can result from intake of fatty foods and cakes and pastries, it is very often hereditary. So how does one tackle high cholesterol levels? First and foremost, flush out toxins from the body by consuming at least 2 litres of water daily. Take about 1 tlbsp of coriander seeds. Crush them coarsely. Add these to a glass of water. Drink this mixture daily. Grate a slice of an onion. Squeeze out the juice. Add this to a glass of water or buttermilk. Add a generous pinch of black pepper powder. Drink this every morning. Raw garlic has proved to be very beneficial in controlling cholesterol levels, so consume 2-3 cloves every day. Take 2 tlbsp of oats in a cup and cover with water. Microwave for 1 minute (or cook normally). Add 2 walnuts chopped. Add a tlbsp of chopped dates. Add 5 peppercorns. Now add low fat milk to make it a full cup. Mix well to remove any lumps. Now microwave again for a minute (or cook normally). You can also add some fresh seasonal fruit. Have this for breakfast every day. Avoid foods like red meat, butter, cheese and confectionary items. Remember, cholesterol can lead to other more serious problems, so start addressing it immediately.
