The Miracle Mineral Magnesium for Muscle Spasm, Cramps, Twitching, High Blood Pressure - Dr Mandell

03:36
Magnesium is one of the most important minerals that you are probably not getting enough of in your everyday diet. Besides being a major co-factor in some 325 enzyme systems throughout the body, magnesium is also essential for achieving and maintaining muscle relaxation, strong bones, restful sleep, a healthy heart and optimal brain function, just a few of the many reasons why a growing number of health experts now refer to it as the "miracle" mineral. The best forms of magnesium Magnesium citrate -- Magnesium citrate is the most popular magnesium supplement, probably because it is inexpensive and easily absorbed. Since citric acid is a mild laxative, magnesium citrate functions as a constipation aid as well as a magnesium source. It is a great choice for individuals with rectal or colon problems but is unsuitable for those with loose bowel movements. Magnesium taurate -- Magnesium taurate is the best choice of magnesium supplement for people with cardiovascular issues, since it is known to prevent arrhythmias and guard the heart from damage caused by heart attacks. Magnesium taurate is easily absorbed (magnesium and taurine stabilize cell membranes together), and it contains no laxative properties. Magnesium malate -- Magnesium malate is a fantastic choice for people suffering from fatigue, since malic acid -- a natural fruit acid present in most cells in the body -- is a vital component of enzymes that play a key role in ATP synthesis and energy production. Since the ionic bonds of magnesium and malic acid are easily broken, magnesium malate is also highly soluble. Magnesium glycinate -- Magnesium glycinate (magnesium bound with glycine, a non-essential amino acid) is one of the most bioavailable and absorbable forms of magnesium, and also the least likely to induce diarrhea. It is the safest option for correcting a long-term deficiency. Magnesium chloride -- Though magnesium chloride only contains around 12 percent elemental magnesium, it has an impressive absorption rate and is the best form of magnesium to take for detoxing the cells and tissues. Moreover, chloride (not to be confused with chlorine, the toxic gas) aids kidney function and can boost a sluggish metabolism. Magnesium carbonate -- Magnesium carbonate is another popular, bioavailable form of magnesium that actually turns into magnesium chloride when it mixes with the hydrochloric acid in our stomachs. It is a good choice for people suffering from indigestion and acid reflux, since it contains antacid properties. The worst forms of magnesium Magnesium oxide -- Magnesium oxide is the most common form of magnesium sold in pharmacies, but it is non-chelated and possesses a poor absorption rate compared to those listed above. Magnesium sulfate -- Magnesium sulfate, also called Epsom salt, is a fantastic constipation aid but an unsafe source of dietary magnesium, since overdosing on it is easy. Magnesium glutamate and aspartate -- Avoid these two forms of magnesium completely. Glutamic acid and aspartic acid are components of the dangerous artificial sweetener aspartame, and both of them become neurotoxic when unbound to other amino acids.

How to Stop Leg and Foot Cramps at Night - Why Do Legs Cramp at Night?

04:48
How to stop leg and foot cramps at night and why do legs cramp at night? Nocturnal leg cramps are one of the most painful problem you can experience – they occur in the middle of the night and the sharp pain can ruin your sleep, leaving you without energy and with sore leg muscles in the morning. Leg cramps are involuntary contractions of the calf muscles that usually occur overnight. They can also strike at the soles or other muscles.   The cramps may last from a few seconds to a few minutes, and the intense pain is often difficult to bear. Nocturnal leg cramps affect everyone regardless of age or gender, although they’re more common in middle aged people. Although science is still unsure of the main cause, there are numerous factors that contribute towards it. Dehydration Dehydration is one of the biggest causes of nocturnal leg cramps. Proper hydration means proper body and mind function, including the contraction of muscles. If you’re not keeping properly hydrated during the day, you will experience cramps overnight. Without sufficient amounts of water, your muscles will be robbed of essential nutrients they need to work normally. Nutritional deficiencies Potassium, magnesium, calcium or sodium deficiency can definitely cause the dreaded leg cramps. All these nutrients play different vital roles in your muscles and help them contract – if the muscles are robbed of them, they will fail to work properly. Potassium works with sodium and chloride and generates electrical impulses in the nerves and muscles, while calcium generates proper muscle contractions and nerve impulses. Magnesium stabilizes the levels of adenosine triphosphate, so any of these mineral deficiencies will result in an increased risk of muscle cramps and other problems. Standing for too long Standing for prolonged periods or wearing improper footwear can overburden your muscles and increase the risk of nocturnal leg cramps. According to one study, the same factor raises the risk of varicose veins, so make sure to cut the time spent on your feet. Sitting with crossed legs or sitting for too long can also cause the condition. Pregnancy Cramps are pretty common during pregnancy, especially from the second trimester onward. They can range from mild to pretty painful and occur as a result of the increased pressure of the uterus on some nerves and reduced blood circulation in the legs. Hypothyroidism Low levels of thyroid hormones in the body are definitely a cause for concern and may lead to a number of health problems including nocturnal leg cramps. Hypothyroidism reduces the levels of calcium in the body, resulting in muscle pain, weakness and numbness as well. Low thyroid hormone levels can also cause fatigue and low metabolism, which can result in inflammation and muscle cramps. Diabetes Diabetes patients often experience nerve damage (diabetic neuropathy) in the legs which results in sharp pain and numbness. The high blood sugar levels can dehydrate your body and lead to muscle cramps – if you experience this symptom and you’re a diabetic, you should consult with your doctor immediately. A few tips that will help you prevent nocturnal leg cramps. In order to prevent the cramps from occurring, you need to stay hydrated at all times. Consuming sport drinks with electrolytes can also prevent the problem. Drinking too much coffee, or sodas can dehydrate your body and increase the risk of cramps. If a cramp woke you up in the middle of the night, massage the sore spot for 10-15 minutes. leg cramp, experiencing of cramps during middle of sleep, leg cramps, cramps from sugar, how to prevent muscle cramps at night,if your legs are sore how can how can it be feel better, jiggling legs, leg muscle cramps at night, leg, cramps, night, reason, face, cramping, fix, what causes leg cramps, leg cramps treatment, leg cramps at night, cramp, pain, home remedies for leg cramps, leg cramps remedy, muscle cramps, leg cramps while sleeping, how to stop leg cramps at night, homeyog About HomeYog: HomeYog is here to help you live life to the fullest. These Are The Symptoms and Signs You May Have a Blood Clot in Your Leg

05:01
They might not sound very life threatening, but a blood clot that develops in the deep veins of your leg, if left untreated and unable to dissolve of its own volition, may detach and travel to your lungs, causing a pulmonary embolism (or PE). In most cases, a leg blood clot will form due to lengthy periods of travel, for example if you remain immobile in cramped spaces—such as an airplane or bus—with few opportunities to stretch your legs or get up and walk around. Here are ten signs that you may have a dangerous blood clot in your leg… FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK www.facebook.com/tabkhat twitter www.twitter.com/miamolosiva source: http://atrending.net/symptoms-signs-blood-clot-need.html http://www.activebeat.com/your-health/10-signs-you-may-have-a-blood-clot-in-your-leg/

Magnesium Deficiency | Are You Magnesium Deficient?: Thomas DeLauer

03:36
http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com Magnesium Deficiency | Are You Magnesium Deficient?: Thomas DeLauer Magnesium is an essential mineral that we must get from our diets. Magnesium plays a role in: ● Nerve and muscle function ● Bone health ● Blood pressure ● Blood glucose levels Roughly 75% of people in the US do not consume the RDA of magnesium. Magnesium deficiency is caused by: ● Insufficient magnesium intake ● Increased loss of magnesium ○ Foods we consume can interfere with our magnesium absorption, such as alcohol, caffeine and soda. ○ Some drugs can also exacerbate this problem ○ Certain medical conditions can add to this as well, including diarrhea, diabetes and pancreatitis. Symptoms of a magnesium deficiency include: ● Anxiety ● Muscle cramps ● Nausea ● Fatigue ● Poor memory ● Impaired cardiovascular health Magnesium is stored throughout the body ● 50-60% in bone ● Soft tissue contains most of the remaining magnesium ● 1% found in blood serum Magnesium balance is accomplished mostly by the kidneys - excess magnesium is excreted through urine. Magnesium levels are generally measured from serum magnesium as it is not easy to measure the magnesium in bones and soft tissue. ● Serum magnesium levels have little correlation with magnesium levels elsewhere in the body For this reason, 2 methods for testing magnesium levels in the case of possible deficiency include: 1. RBC magnesium levels - evaluates the amount of magnesium INSIDE of red blood cells (Traditional serum levels look at extracellular serum magnesium levels) 2. Magnesium deficiency questionnaire RBC versus serum: Serum: ● Extracellular ● Good for determining magnesium absorption RBC: ● Intracellular ● Examines tissue assimilation of magnesium RBC can provide an earlier indication than traditional serum test for magnesium deficiency ● Our bodies will take magnesium from the inside of the cell to keep the serum levels of magnesium up if there is a deficiency - at this early stage a RBC test will show low magnesium levels while a serum test will not Using both RBC and a clinical questionnaire may be the best way to determine functional magnesium levels. To improve magnesium status, scientists want to work on improving not only magnesium consumption, but absorption and assimilation. References: 1. 4 Ways To Quickly Stop Leg Cramps & Foot Cramps With Natural Remedies

06:50
CALM MAGNESIUM: http://amzn.to/2iOkidv CUPRUM 30c: http://amzn.to/2iOkMAo STOP LEG AND FOOT CRAMPS: http://amzn.to/2hDzMoV ULTIMA REPLENISHER: http://amzn.to/2ihrz8I Suffer no more! In this video I share four natural remedies I have personally used to quickly stop my own leg cramps and foot cramps, and they really work! If you suffer from leg cramps or foot cramps, watch this video to find out what you can do to stop those cramps almost as soon as they start! My leg and foot cramps started to appear many, many years ago. My only remedy at the time was to rub them out or walk them out, and that could take a long time. All the while I was in pain. A lot of pain! My right foot especially would cramp up, even when driving, and that would force me to immediately stop the car, get out, and walk around until it stopped. Horrible! Of course, the cramps happened at night as well, like they do with a lot of people. Then, I visited a naturopathic doctor (Dr. Angela Agrios, ND) and not only learned about some of the causes, but also some remedies that would help stop the pain, almost immediately. Leg cramps and foot cramps can be caused by many things but a few common are poor circulation, lack of electrolytes (minerals) and cold feet. I discovered that I had really poor circulation, and so that certainly contributed to the issue. I would later find out that exercising depletes the body of electrolytes (minerals), especially magnesium, potassium and calcium. So does sitting in a hot sauna or steam room because lots of perspiring will deplete the body of electrolytes. Of course, rigorous exercise also causes perspiration. It just so happens that if you can get electrolytes back into the body you can also stop the leg cramps and stop the foot cramps. Before I share the natural remedies for leg cramps and foot cramps, I want to emphasize that if you suffer from either of these cramps on any kind of regular basis, it would be in your best interest to visit a naturopathic doctor to find out why so that the cause can be treated. For example, I know for me it is due, in part, to poor circulation, and to that end, my doctor has worked with me extensively so that my circulation is much better now (naturally, of course). NATURAL REMEDIES FOR LEG CRAMPS & FOOT CRAMPS Cuprum 30c – A Homeopathic Remedy Cuprum is homeopathic copper, and it’ll stop most cramping within two minutes. Homeopathy is energy medicine and works at an energetic level on the body. If you have ever wondered about whether or not homeopathic remedies work, get a cramp, take Cuprum, and you’ll be a believer! I’ve used cuprum lots and lots of times, and it works amazingly well. Find Cuprum at your local health food store. I’ve used the 200c with success as well. Ultima Electrolyte Replenisher I’ve been using this brand of electrolyte replenisher for a few years now, and in fact, I drink it nearly every day. If I spend time at the sauna or have had a heavy workout, and get cramps after going to bed, I know that my electrolytes have been depleted and so I get up and take a couple scoops of this Ultima in water, along with the Cuprum. It really helps. You can find it at most health food stores. Their website: http://ultimareplenisher.com Calm Magnesium Magnesium helps to relax muscle, and from that point of view, also helps to relieve leg cramps and foot cramps. The Calm brand of magnesium is recommend by my doctor and I know that it quickly gets into the body. It helps make going to sleep easier, and will also help loosen stool, which is particularly good for people who have constipation issues. Calm magnesium is an excellent brand and I’ve been using it for many years. Their website: http://naturalvitality.com Stops Leg & Foot Cramps In About One Minute I recently found this remedy in a health food store and was intrigued by the product name and the claim, so I bought it to test it myself. I am happy to report, that it does, in fact, work! I have since talked with a worker at the health food store who said other customers have had great luck with this product as well. The ingredients of this product are just apple coder vinegar, ginger and garlic, which are all loaded with potassium. It’s not in all health food stores, so if you go to their website you can use their store locator to find it near you or purchase it online: http://www.stopslegcramps.com Produced by Larry Cook Author of The Beginner’s Guide to Natural Living http://www.thenaturalguide.com Find the book on Amazon: http://goo.gl/3ILiqS http://www.thenaturalguide.com/Quickly-Stop-Leg-and-Foot-Cramps-With-4-Natural-Remedies.html http://www.larrydcook.com how to stop leg cramps leg cramps at night foot cramps what causes leg cramps causes of leg cramps nighttime leg cramps foot cramps at night leg cramps treatment what causes foot cramps severe leg cramps

Frequent leg cramps can actually be an early warning sign of heart disease or other dangers present in the circulatory system. Cramps sometimes result from blockages in the blood vessels, which are a clue that there may be blockages in veins or arteries elsewhere in the body, including the heart. Doctors use the term claudication to describe pain caused by too little blood flow, usually during exercise. This condition is also sometimes known as intermittent claudication, and it generally affects the blood vessels in the legs -- but it can happen to the arms, too. Claudication feels like a cramp, and this discomfort stops when the activity stops and you rest. Besides claudication, other circulatory problems that cause leg pain. Some of these are described in this video.

How to Stop Leg Muscle Cramps

04:19
Legs seem to have a mind of their own. Who hasn’t been ready to slip off to dream world when suddenly your legs begin to contract and cramp? Strangely, they don’t seem to cramp during the day. These nocturnal cramps are common and can prevent a good night’s sleep. They can also generate pain in the feet, calves and thighs. Cramps last anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. Occasionally, they last for days. In today’s video, we’ll explore ways to prevent leg cramps. The 3 major causes of leg cramps are: - Lack of exercise - Dehydration - Poor blood flow Let’s look at a few ways to prevent leg cramps: Magnesium deficiency Magnesium is an all-purpose mineral and works wonders in alleviating leg cramps. To add magnesium to your diet, eat plenty of dark leafy greens, bananas and dates. Other magnesium-rich foods include pumpkin seeds, yogurt, and dark chocolate. Another way to add magnesium is to use its oil form. Simply massage on your legs before turning in for the night. Make Your Own Magnesium Oil Ingredients ½ cup Magnesium Chloride Flakes; ½ cup distilled water; Directions Pour water into a pan and bring to a boil; Add magnesium flakes; Stir continuously until they are dissolved; Remove from heat and cool; Pour mixture into a spray bottle; Apply 5 – 10 sprays to each leg one hour prior to bedtime. Get Your Daily Dose of Vitamin D If you are eating healthy and drinking enough water and still have leg cramps, you may have a Vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D is what prompts the body to properly absorb calcium. Without enough vitamin D, the calcium isn’t able to balance fluids in your body. One source of vitamin D is exposure to the sun. Another way is to eat seafood. Still one more way is to simply take a supplement. Stretching Exercises Performing a few slow and easy stretches can stimulate blood flow, which will then transport oxygen and vital nutrients throughout your muscles and body. Here’s an easy stretch: Find a small ledge/incline (think – vehicle gas pedal); Rest the ball of your foot on it and allow your heel to touch the floor; Slowly shift your weight forward (pressing the pedal); Hold this position for 2 seconds; Return to starting position and rest for 10 seconds; Repeat 6-8 times on each foot. This exercise should allow you to feel a good stretch. It can stretch calves, which is where most cramps originate. A note of caution; keep the incline low. Perhaps just stack one book on top of another. Otherwise, you will put too much pressure on your calves. Need Instant Relief from Cramps? Try this simple exercise: First, extend your cramped leg straight out in front of you and flex your ankles Point toes up, toward your knee Grab your toes for a good stretch Stand up straight and take a few slow steps to increase blood flow Massage your calves with your fingers, in a circular motion. Electrolyte Imbalance If you aren’t drinking enough water, you may have an electrolyte imbalance. Here’s an easy recipe to make your own effective electrolyte beverage. Ingredients 1 quart of water; 6 tsps sugar (or ¼ cup organic honey); ¼ to ½ tsp unionized sea salt; Juice from one lemon; 2 limes; Add a few cubes of ice and enjoy this drink daily. Leg Cramps and Restless Legs- Do This

02:31
Restless legs and leg cramps are common at night with many people. Find out what to do and what to take. One of the best things to do instantly with a leg cramp is pull all your toes back at the same time as hard as you can. Then do what it says in this video. For lots more helpful instant DIY quick health tips, subscribe to this entertaining but educational channel and tell all your friends also! transcript: Do you have restless legs at night? Do you have trouble sleeping because your legs have so much energy they just want to run or dance? Where is all that energy coming from? Your food! You probably ate too late. Food creates energy… that’s the purpose of food. It takes about an hour or two for food to digest and turn into energy…and that energy has to go somewhere- so if you ate within 2-3 hours of going to bed, your mind will be having all kinds of wild dreams and your legs will want to party all night long! So the next time you think about eating, remember the real purpose of food- to give you energy! Also- those of you who have my green formula already know this- it gives you up to five hours of energy- so do NOT take the green formula after 5 or 6pm or you will want to stay up all night. Do you have leg cramps at night? That’s where your legs feel electrocuted in a different way- especially the back of the legs. They hurt because the muscles are tightening too much because the food you’re eating isn’t giving them the proper nutrients they need… the main one being MAGNESIUM. There is very little magnesium left in the soil nowadays so the food we eat has very little of this vital mineral. It’s super important for our body and is the first thing paramedics give someone when they have a heart attack, because your heart is a muscle also. Magnesium is great for relaxing you. Its great for stress, relaxing hypertension and blood pressure as well as relaxing the muscles in your legs. So get some magnesium powder and try taking 2 teaspoons at night with a small glass of water. One good common brand is CALM. It will help calm your nerves, relax your muscles and make your body feel great. But what if your legs are cramping and you don’t have magnesium? Do this- use your hand and pull all 5 toes back at the same time as hard as you can as far as they will go. This stretches the muscles in your foot and the back of your legs. This should help you make it through the night until you can go buy some magnesium the next day. And remember to stop eating 2-3 hours before bed and don’t take the Markus green formula for 4-5 hours before bed. However, if someone has a problem with insulin, potassium is even more deficient. Potassium is controlled by insulin. When there is insulin resistance, potassium becomes deficient. By spiking potassium in a pre-diabetic or a diabetic state, the need for insulin can reduce. ♥ 3 Best Exercises For Increasing Blood Flow & Circulation To Your Legs

02:38
How I quickly improved my dad’s blood flow and circulation in only 30 days - NO drugs or diets: ►► http://drsam.co/yt/BloodFlowToLegs =============================================== Dr. Sam’s 2 Minutes To Better Health - 3 Best Exercises For Increasing Blood Flow & Circulation To Your Legs =============================================== This is important for anyone who has · leg pains or cramping · varicose or “spider” veins (or prevention) · numbing and tingling in your feet This is also very important because poor blood flow and circulation is one of the primary causes of a heart attack or stroke. This is because it can lead to Hypertension and high blood pressure Hardening and narrowing of your arteries Higher cholesterol and plaque build up Blood clots in your veins 3 Best Exercises WALKING I think walking is one of the best exercises you can do and almost anyone can do it, anywhere, any time of the day and it doesn’t cost you anything. Ideally you would walk outside in fresh air if possible. Any time of the day is fine. To start, all you need is about 15 minutes, 3x weekly. Ideally you would work up to daily walks of about 30 minutes. And if you have pain or trouble walking, even 3 minutes is a good start. Try your best to walk just a little bit more every single day. REBOUNDER A rebounder is basically a mini trampoline. I like this because it is very low impact and super easy on your joints. It also helps clean your lymph nodes, which helps prevent many cancers and illnesses. Just like walking, all you need is about 15 minutes, 3x weekly… Eventually you can work up to 20-30 minutes daily. By the way, you’re not trying to jump high on it and try to touch the ceiling. You only need to go up a few inches, a light up and down motion Just enough for your toes to be off the rebounder. Body Weight Squats This last exercise is great for building and strengthening your entire lower body … From your ankles to your leg muscles and all the way to your lower back and stomach. You can simply use your own bodyweight and do sets of about 15-25 or more repetitions. Of course, if you’re first starting out, simply doing even 2-3 comfortable repetitions is a great start. Go down as far you’re comfortable and without pain. Over time, as you get stronger and more flexible, you can do more repetitions and go deeper. You should work up to 3-4 sets, of 15 or more repetitions, 3x weekly. And if you don’t have good coordination, simply hold onto a wall or something sturdy as you squat down. Here Is How To Reduce Hypertension or High Blood Pressure At Home!

04:54
Here Is How To Reduce Hypertension or High Blood Pressure At Home! The hypertension or high blood pressure can be caused by genetics, thyroid disorders, toxic body burden, smoking, unhealthy diet, sedentary lifestyle, chronic stress, weight and age. People usually have combination of these factors. It is important to remember that it is one of the ‘silent killers’. That is why it is important to do the periodic blood pressure tests. A healthy blood pressure is 120 over 80. The 1st number measures the heart beating pressure and the 2nd measures the pressure of the resting heart. As there are numerous factors that can cause hypertension, there are many problems that can happen if it is left untreated. Hypertension increases the blood flow resistance in the vessels and forces the heart to work harder. High blood pressure contributes to hardening of the arteries. It is also associated with sexual dysfunction, blindness, aneurysms, dementia, kidney disease and cardiovascular disease. To control it, you need to make some changes in your lifestyle, diet and other contributing factors. If the blood pressure is reduces by 5-6 pints, the risk of stroke is cut by 40% and heart disease by 15%. There are numerous effective medications like ACE inhibitors, diuretics and beta blockers, but they can produce some side effects like rapid heartbeat, dizziness, headaches, fatigue, respiratory problems, depression, leg cramps and insomnia. The high blood pressure is profitable market for the drug companies as it is a common and chronic disease. Once a person starts on these drugs, they take them often for the long term. Drugs aren’t the only choice. There are numerous ways that it can be controlled naturally. If you have hypertension and you’re on medication, you shouldn’t stop taking them without medical advice from the health care provider. -For those who try to control the blood pressure, it is recommended to address potential weight issues. It is important to increase the physical activity and consume anti-inflammatory foods like lean proteins, healthy fats and fresh fruits and vegetables. You need to lower the intake of sodium as the salt retains body fluids and increases the blood volume. Reduce the salty snack like salted nuts, crackers and chips and choose mineral-rich and natural salt like Himalayan and Celtic. Smoking and consuming alcohol also affects the cardiovascular health. They can put a lot of stress on the heart and lead to hypertension and arterial hardening. The body evolved many mechanisms to respond to dangers. One of them is a rapid heartbeat to increase the blood flow and it is accompanied by increased blood pressure. But the real problem is the chronic stress and the background anxiety has huge physiological impact. The cortisol and the other stress hormones stay elevated wearing down the defenses and fueling chronic inflammation. The results are increased risk of cardiovascular disease and hypertension and many degenerative diseases. Meditation is a proven way to reduce the chronic stress. Another way to relieve stress is long walks. -The diet is one of the most critical approaches to high blood pressure controlling. The DASH diet is a specific diet that can lower the blood pressure. It means Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. It recommends whole grains, veggies and fruits. Also, part of this diet is the potassium-rich foods like bananas and green leafy veggies like kale and spinach. Reduce the trans fats and sugar because these foods fuel inflammation which can increase the risk of hypertension, damage heart health and harden the arteries. https://youtu.be/EQ9t3iPaj-0

11 Signs Your Body Needs More Magnesium

03:49
Magnesium is a mineral found in many types of foods, it plays an essential role in human DNA production, repair and in maintaining healthy bones, nerves and muscles. Though it is readily available, most Americans do not meet their need for magnesium through their diet. you should consider getting your magnesium level checked if you suffer the following 11 symptoms. 1. Low energy. Magnesium is involved in at least 300 different chemical reactions in our body, and a lot have to do with energy production. A sign of low magnesium can be low energy. 2.Insomnia. If you're having a hard time falling or staying asleep, it may be due to low levels of magnesium, particularly if you are experiencing a lot of stress. Stress hormones increase blood pressure and heart rate, this is partly accomplished by depleting the body of its magnesium If there isn't enough magnesium available for the body to replenish itself, sleeping becomes a problem. 3.Constipation. Bowel movements often slow down without enough magnesium in the body. note that magnesium is the main ingredient in many over-the-counter laxatives. 4.Frequent headaches. Magnesium deficiency lowers serotonin levels, causes blood vessels to constrict and affects neurotransmitter function, all related to headaches -- especially migraines. 50% of migraine sufferers have a magnesium deficiency. 5.Twitching or cramping. Because magnesium plays an important role in muscle relaxation, insufficient intake can result in unintended muscle movement. Without magnesium, our muscles would be in a constant state of contraction 6.Low bone density. Magnesium plays a major role in bone formation, and the majority of the body's magnesium is stored in the bones. People with higher intakes of magnesium have a higher bone mineral density. 7.High blood pressure. Magnesium is very important in maintaining a healthy blood pressure, a deficiency can definitely cause pressure to be too high. Eating foods high in magnesium and other minerals can help prevent high blood pressure in people with prehypertension. 8.Type 2 diabetes. Breaking down blood sugars is another of magnesium's jobs in the human body. People with higher amounts of magnesium in their diets tend to have a lower risk of developing diabetes. Research is ongoing to determine whether magnesium therapy can be used in diabetes treatment. 9.Irregular heartbeat. With low magnesium levels, the heart can have trouble staying in its regular rhythm. doctors will often prescribe magnesium supplements for patients who complain of an irregular heartbeat. 10.Increased sensitivity to noise. Not having enough magnesium curtails its role in stabilizing the nervous system, This often results in hyperflexia, an enhanced startle reflex. And 11. Depression and anxiety. Low levels of magnesium in the brain can affect neurological functions that result in all sorts of problems. Studies have shown that some phobias -- such as agoraphobia -- have developed as a result of low magnesium levels.  Please Subscribe! ▶ https://goo.gl/ksfh7M NOTE: The materials and the information contained on Natural ways channel are provided for general and educational purposes only and do not constitute any legal, medical or other professional advice on any subject matter. Blood Clots,Recognize,Symptoms, What to Expect-Clip 1

11:35
Learn how to recognize Deep vein and Superficial vein thrombosis and what to expect.BLOOD CLOTS -- HOW TO RECOGNIZE 1)Superficial-reddness, mild burning if along the Saphenous vein. Other surface veins may have a visible or palpable lump usually feels like a hard cord or pencil under the skin. Could continue into a DVT You can expect to be put on coumadin and will have only minor impairment if at all. It can be deceptively symptom free until the entire Saphenous vein becomes like a cord most of the way from your thigh down to the ankle. You most likely will not experience any leg swelling but you should see the vein become more prominent and then become hardened. 2)Deep vein-If in calf, dorsa flex the foot. If sharp pain then suspect thrombosis. 3)Deep vein- If between the thigh and knee-Femoral vein Can be difficult to detect at first because it tends to become established before symptoms develop. Symptoms may present as a lower muscle pain or pulled groin muscle. Further these pains may not always be present. They can be intermittent at first misleading you into thinking it's just a pulled muscle.Experience feelings of fluid build up upon standing and weakness in Quads at first . Later a feeling of dizzyness AFTER mild exertion. A craving for sweets for energy. DO NOT attempt to treat with anti-inflammatory NSAIDs like Aleve or Ibuprofen. Tylenol okay to use. Take a couple of aspirin a day until you have a chance to get to a doctor's offc. Do the pinch test to see if you are dehydrated...if skin does not snap back immediately start drinking fluids now. One you first feeling fluid building up and/or dizzyness upon standing you are probably within three days of requiring admission to the ER at the hospital. You will know you have reached a critical stage when your thigh muscles become weak, feel more and more pressure each time you stand and you feel dizzy after walking just a few yards. At this point you must go to the ER but try to have a bowel movement and pee before you go....you probably won't be able to for the next week or so. Just the physical swelling will cause that.DO THESE THINGS RIGHT NOW (TODAY) BEFORE GOING TO THE HOSPITAL FIRST THING: Laxative-If you even think you may have a thrombosis-Start immediately on either All-Bran cereal or Mira-Lax with each meal SECOND THING: Plan ahead-Transport (911=$900)/meals, grocery shopping, business now SECOND THING: Buy a pair of thigh high compression stockings 20-30mm Hg-no Rx nec. WHAT TO EXPECT: At the ER they will put an IV line in you to keep fluids going into your body. Your leg diameter will continue to swell for the next few days. Be sure you ask for a doppler to confirm thrombosis. Your pain levels will increase...you won't be able to walk but a few meters without passing out from orthostatic hypotension. If you are on diuretics for BP CONTINUE THEM. ASK THE HOSPITAL DOC (DAY 1) IF YOU CAN HAVE SOMEONE BRING YOU 20-30 mm thigh high COMPRESSION STOCKINGS FOR IMMEDIATE USE. You will need measurements of your ankle, calf, and thigh at the widest part. You will only use these until about two or three weeks after you get home then order some stockings at 30-40mm for the next 4-6weeks and then go to 40-50mm. As soon as you can (when the 30-40mm began to stretch and lose compression. The hospital may give you some short knee high compression socks which are useless and just slow your progress or they may use a machine with a pressure cuff to stimulate circulation---they usually don't get the cuff adjusted tight enough to do any good....take some control here and do it yourself. Each day, Ask your hospital doc if your vital signs have returned to normal (such as kidney function). If so then don't let the hospital keep putting IV fluid into your body...that just makes your leg feel like it is going to burst plus it makes it almost physically impossible for you to use the toilet in your room no matter where it is. They will argue the IV is for your benefit. Tolerate what you can but take control. You will also feel your upper body begin to retain fluid as well. This will also make going to the toilet a lot more difficult. Until you can get the fluid in your body down (ask doc to use lasix for that) you will be in great pain and pretty immobile and severely constipated and unable to pee. You will be put on Coumadin or Warfarin accompanied with a few shots of Lovenox injections for about ten days. The Coumadin you may be on forever. You will also be given medication for pain.

Muscle cramp - Symptoms and causes

04:15
Symptoms Most muscle cramps develop in the leg muscles, particularly in the calf. Besides the sudden, sharp pain, you might also feel or see a hard lump of muscle tissue beneath your skin. When to see a doctor Muscle cramps usually disappear on their own and are rarely serious enough to require medical care. However, see your doctor if your cramps: Cause severe discomfort Are associated with leg swelling, redness or skin changes Are associated with muscle weakness Happen frequently Don't improve with self-care Aren't associated with an obvious cause, such as strenuous exercise Request an Appointment at Mayo Clinic Causes Overuse of a muscle, dehydration, muscle strain or simply holding a position for a prolonged period can cause a muscle cramp. In many cases, however, the cause isn't known. Although most muscle cramps are harmless, some may be related to an underlying medical condition, such as: Inadequate blood supply. Narrowing of the arteries that deliver blood to your legs (arteriosclerosis of the extremities) can produce cramp-like pain in your legs and feet while you're exercising. These cramps usually go away soon after you stop exercising. Nerve compression. Compression of nerves in your spine (lumbar stenosis) also can produce cramp-like pain in your legs. The pain usually worsens the longer you walk. Walking in a slightly flexed position — such as you would use when pushing a shopping cart ahead of you — may improve or delay the onset of your symptoms. Mineral depletion. Too little potassium, calcium or magnesium in your diet can contribute to leg cramps. Diuretics — medications often prescribed for high blood pressure — also can deplete these minerals. Risk factors Factors that might increase your risk of muscle cramps include: Age. Older people lose muscle mass, so the remaining muscle can get overstressed more easily. Dehydration. Athletes who become fatigued and dehydrated while participating in warm-weather sports frequently develop muscle cramps. Pregnancy. Muscle cramps also are common during pregnancy. Medical conditions. You might be at higher risk of muscle cramps if you have diabetes, or nerve, liver or thyroid disorders.

Blood clots in legs: symptoms and diagnosis

02:51
The most common place outside the heart to have an artery blockage is the legs. Talal Attar, MD, FACC, an interventional cardiologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, says many individuals may fail to mention the pain they are feeling in their legs, assuming it is merely due to aging. However, blockage in the legs often coincides with walking, with the pain occurring with some consistency—after the same distance walked and typically after a similar period of rest. The pain usually does not occur when sitting or lying down. Dr. Attar explains that the diagnosis, treatment and risk factors for clots in the leg and other locations outside the heart are similar to blockages associated with the heart. Signs And Symptom Of Potassium Deficiency You Should not ignore

10:28
Signs You Are Not Getting Enough Potassium. Potassium is one of the body’s most important minerals. It is present in every cell of the human body. In fact, it is one of the body’s four main electrolytes, along with sodium, magnesium and calcium. Being an electrolyte, potassium helps maintain a proper water balance in the body as well as regulate blood pressure. It also plays a role in the digestion of proteins and carbohydrates. Here are the top 10 signs and symptoms that you are not getting enough potassium. 1, Muscle Cramps. 01:02 Frequent muscle cramps, whether during the day or night, is a very common sign of a potassium deficiency. Cramping in the legs, feet and arms is common. Potassium is one of the electrolytes found in all body cells, including muscle and nerve cells. It works with sodium to maintain your cells’ electrical charges, which control muscle contractions and functioning. When this mineral is low in the body, the cells do not send or receive the proper electrical signals to control muscle contractions. This in turn increases the chance of suffering from frequent muscle cramps. The cramps can last from a few seconds to minutes. As significant fluid loss from profuse sweating may cause low levels of potassium, it is important to replenish your body’s potassium after exercise. 2, Muscle Weakness and Damage. 02:02 A low potassium level can have a huge impact on your muscle health. It can impair the function of muscle cells as well as damage the muscles. This leads to profound weakness and muscle stiffness, aching and tenderness. Also, potassium is needed for healing the muscles on a cellular level. Hence, there may also be an increase in muscle tearing or straining with little or no effort. If your muscles feel weak and tired for no apparent reason, you need to get your potassium level checked. 3, General Fatigue. 02:55 Another common symptom of low potassium is a general feeling of fatigue. This kind of fatigue is not due to overexertion or overworking. In fact, the feeling of fatigue and tiredness has no explainable reason. Every cell in the body needs the right amount of potassium to function, and an inadequate amount of this mineral can affect the functioning of cells as well as organs. Thus, a deficiency of this mineral can lead to fatigue and general weakness. 4, Tingling Sensations. 03:45 Potassium is important for the health of your nerves. A low level of this mineral can affect the electrical impulses that pass from the skin and muscles to the spinal cord and brain. This can lead to a loss of sensation along the outer extremities, resulting in the tingling sensations. Usually, this tingling sensation is noticed in the fingers, toes, hands, feet, arms and legs. Low potassium may also contribute to muscle twitching. If you experience tingling sensations in your arms and legs, along with other symptoms mentioned here, there is a strong possibility that you are low in potassium. A simple blood test can confirm this. 5, Heart Palpitations. 04:36 A potassium deficiency can also affect your heart health. It can cause an irregular heartbeat rhythm and heart palpitations for no apparent reason at all. Low potassium can disrupt the rhythmic, coordinated contractions of the heart that are controlled by electrical impulses. On the other hand, an adequate amount of potassium in the body helps protect your heart from heart disease, heart attacks and strokes. No matter what, if you are experiencing heart palpitations, it is important to see a doctor. 6, Mental or Emotional Issues. 05:25 Potassium is important for mental health and brain function. It helps maintain the electrical conductivity of the brain and nerve transmissions. Plus, it plays a key role in transporting serotonin, a neurotransmitter that promotes feelings of well-being and happiness. This is why a low potassium level can contribute to confusion, mood swings, depression, hallucinations and delirium. A 1992 article published in Neuropsychobiology reported a relationship between sodium, magnesium and potassium in depressed patients. 7, Constipation. 06:36 The mineral potassium is important for the digestive system, which is made of smooth muscles that contract rhythmically to aid digestion of food. Low blood levels of potassium can disrupt the functions of the involuntary muscles of the stomach and intestines. Proper functioning of these muscles is needed for digestion, absorption and metabolism to occur. Poor functioning can lead to constipation. 8, High Blood Pressure. 07:21 Potassium helps relax blood vessels, and without enough of it, they can become constricted, which causes blood pressure to rise. Potassium also balances out the negative effects of sodium. When potassium is low, the balance of sodium in the body gets disturbed. This can also affect your blood pressure. There are 2 main causes, one is a vitamin B1 deficiency due to lactic acidosis, and the second cause being a potassium deficiency. Dr. Berg then talks about insulin resistance and how this alone will keep your potassium from being absorbed. So the cause may be dietary but it may be an insulin problem. The other problem is stomach acid - if you do not have the acid in your stomach, you will not be able to absorb potassium from that alone. Potassium Citrate is a good remedy. Exercises For Improving Blood Circulation In Legs

06:27
See how to dramatically and naturally, improve your blood flow and circulation in 30 days or less: ►► http://DrSam.co/yt/LegCirculationExercises-BF =============================================== Best Exercises For Increasing Blood Flow & Circulation To Your Legs & Extremities =============================================== I completely understand because my mom has had similar legs pains, but no varicose veins. Actually, my dad has the varicose veins in the family. In today’s video, I’ll quickly discuss 3 best exercises for increasing blood flow and improving circulation to your legs and your entire body. You can do them anywhere and anytime, regardless of your age or fitness level. And it will not cost you anything! Primary Cause Of Heart Attacks & Strokes Poor blood flow and circulation is one of the primary causes of a heart attack or stroke. This is because it can lead to: -Hypertension and high blood pressure -Hardening and narrowing of your arteries -Higher cholesterol and plaque build up Warning Signs Some of what “warning signs” that you may have circulation problems include Frequent pain and cramping in your legs Tingling or numbness in your feet Tired, aching or weak legs and feet Slow-healing wounds Thickened toenails Varicose and “spider” veins Why Circulation Is So Important Now, improving circulation to your legs is very important because you have to pump the blood uphill to your heart… going against gravity! When you walk, your foot and leg muscles are contracting and relaxing and basically acting like a “second heart”, to continually pump blood back up through your legs and to your heart. Unfortunately, if you are sedentary for prolonged periods of time … like sitting for too long, on a long flight or bedridden… your “second heart” is inactive and blood can gather in your veins and around your ankles and this can lead to pain in the lower legs… and worst case scenario it can lead to a life-threatening blood clot. The good news is that by performing regular leg exercises, you can promote healthy blood flow from you legs to your heart and thus, help prevent blood clots and leg pain. Exercises Walking I think walking is one of the best exercises you can do and almost anyone can do it, any where, any time of the day and it doesn’t cost you anything. Ideally you would walk outside in fresh air if possible. First thing morning and/or late evening are good times but, whenever you can is a better than nothing. To start, all you need is about 15 minutes, 3x weekly. Ideally you would work up to daily walks of about 30 minutes. And if you have pain or trouble walking, even 3 minutes is a good start. Try your best to walk just a little bit every single day. Rebounder A rebounder is basically a mini trampoline. I like this because it is very low impact and super easy on your joints. It also helps clean your lymph nodes, which helps prevent many cancers and illnesses. I put mine in front of the TV while watching a favorite show and do it for about 10-20 minutes daily. You don’t need much at all. By the way, you’re not trying to jump high on it and try to touch the ceiling. You only need to go up a few inches. Just enough for your toes to be off the roubound. It’s just a light up and down motion. Again, almost anyone can do it, any time and anyplace. You can even travel with it. Body Weight Squats This last exercise is great for building and strengthening your entire lower body … From your ankles to your leg muscles and all the way to your lower back and stomach. You can simply use your own bodyweight and do sets of about 15-20 repetitions. Of course, if you’re first starting out, simply doing even 2-3 comfortable repetitions is a great start. Go down as far your comfortable and without pain. Over time, as you get stronger and more flexible, you can do more repetitions and go deeper. Ideally, you would do maybe 1 set of 15 or more repetition, 2-3x daily. Maybe in the morning, noon and night time. More often and throughout the day helps keep the blood flow regular and continuous. And if you don’t have good coordination, simply hold onto a wall or something sturdy as you squat down. Summary Poor blood flow is bad for your health, if affects your entire body. The best exercises for improved circulation, especially to your legs is: -Daily walking -Using a rebounder -Bodyweight squats Click here: ►http://drsam.co/yt/legcirculationexercises-bf ================================================================================ Thank you for watching. REASONS WHY YOUR LEGS CRAMP UP AT NIGHT AND HOW TO FIX IT

04:59
REASONS WHY YOUR LEGS CRAMP UP AT NIGHT AND HOW TO FIX IT Dehydration Dehydration is one of the biggest causes of nocturnal leg cramps. Hypothyroidism Hypothyroidism Low levels of thyroid hormones in the body are definitely a cause for concern and may lead to a number of health problems including nocturnal leg cramps. Medications Statins and diuretics will lead to loss of water and dehydration in the body, while also robbing it of essential nutrients such as electrolytes which are required for proper muscle function. Birth control pills, antipsychotics and steroids can also cause cramps, A few tips that will help you prevent nocturnal leg cramps In order to prevent the cramps from occurring, you need to stay hydrated at all times. Consuming sport drinks with electrolytes can also prevent the problem. Drinking too much coffee, alcohol or sodas can dehydrate your body and increase the risk of cramps. If a cramp woke you up in the middle of the night, massage the sore spot for 10-15 minutes. To prevent the cramps, you should stretch your muscle before you go to bed, or ride a stationary bike for 10 minutes. If you’re experiencing a cramp, walking or jiggling the cramping leg sends a signal to your brain that the muscle needs to relax and will make you feel better. Kidney Dialysis Side Effects - Stomach Cramps, Low Blood Pressure

01:35
Some of the effect of having kidney dialysis is not fun at all. One of the most that everyone gets is cramps, it can be any part of the muscle in your body. Since the machine is filtering the fluid out of your body, once you reached your limit in water/fluid taken out, you will start to cramp. Once you start to CRAMP, there is nothing you can do but bare with it until it subside. Since you are not able to stand so you can't really stretch it out... So PAINFUL!!! --- Things to be aware if you are just starting your treatment --- 1 - When you start to feel light headed 2 - When you feel kind of nauseated 3 - Short of Breath 4 - Feel a CRAMP coming 5 - Drop in blood pressure These are some of the effects that you are or getting close to your max of fluid take out. If you don't alert the technician who is taking care of you or one of the nurse there... It can lead to much cramping pains like what I'm went through in the video. Worst you can black out from your blood pressure dropping too low... I was lucky the nurse didn't leave to get cup of ice like I asked her because just right after I had asked her my body start to shut down and it was pretty scary feeling. It felt like you these giant hand squeezing you and you can't breath. Your lung tighten as your throat being choked by someone squeezing on it. Luckily the nurse was still there and she ran to turn of the machine and gave me some saline... The saline did help me from blacking out but with most of the fluid drained out from the muscle... I began to cramp and you can see it in the video... I had never cramp like that before where my whole body started cramping... It started around my belly and then went to all over my back and I can feel the muscle moving around on my belly. To help ease the tension and pains I try being humorous and imagine what it would be for a woman to give birth... This is about as close to a man feeling what it is like to have labor pain... I got to give the ladies - MUCH LOVE - they can really take it. 15 - 20 minutes of this and I know I would be able to handle that pain if it gets any worse... It is very important to make sure your blood pressure don't drop too low or you will end up blacking out and then they will have to pump your heart with CPR... Sometimes CRP can also crack your rib since each person is built differently... It is a life changing when it happen to you. You don't think about how good and wonderful everything is until something dramatic like this happen and then all the thing you use to take for granted is now something you can't really do anymore... I don't wish this upon anyone but if you are just starting out go slow on yourself listen to your body.... I hope this will help some of you.... *********************************************************************** I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (http://www.youtube.com/editor) ***********************************************************************

Potassium and high blood pressure

02:00
Out of all the nutrients that you need, potassium is something needed in very large quantities. You need 4700 mg of potassium every single day. What does that mean with food? 7 - 10 cup of vegetables every single day. How many cups of vegetables do you consume in given day? What happens when you have low potassium: you get high blood pressure. Potassium is a physiological relaxer. It calms the nervous system. It actually softens the arteries. It actually can prevent strokes, constipation, leg cramps. It's involved in nerve conductivity and muscle contraction and relaxation. Arrhythmias, atrial fib, that's all potassium deficiency because people don't consume enough. You need the minerals, specifically potassium. That's the one you need in the most amount. Did you get a blood test? Your potassium level looks okey? Well… 98% of all the potassium in your body is inside the cell, not outside the cell. It's very difficult to test a potassium deficiency because it's all inside the cell. You need an intracellular test for potassium. Potassium is very, very healthy mineral you need in very large quantities! http://vitanord.dk

"Leg cramps can be caused by many conditions, ranging simply from dehydration to something much more serious such as kidney disease," said physical therapist Matthew Hyland, president of the New York Physical Therapy Association and co-owner of Rye Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation. "Cramps often result from vigorous exercise, trauma to the muscle, or keeping the leg in an awkward position for too long, such as sitting in a crowded theater. Other causes can include medications such as birth control, diuretics (which are often prescribed for people with high blood pressure) and steroids. A lack of potassium or calcium can also be the underlying cause, as well as cold weather." Acute leg cramps frequently are confused with restless legs syndrome (RLS). But RLS is a different and more serious, chronic condition characterized by discomfort and persistent throbbing and pulling sensations in the legs. How to LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE Naturally Overnight? Effective Ways to Lower Your BLOOD PRESSURE Quick

10:18
5 Unexpected Ways To LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE Quickly & Naturally, Without Medication. Having a bad day can impair our judgment and lead to most of us making not-so-wise lifestyle choices like binge eating, smoking, or drinking. These unhealthy habits done in excess can negatively affect our health, especially our blood pressure. As one in four Americans continue to suffer from the epidemic of high blood pressure, it is imperative for us to effectively avoid and reduce this highly preventable disease associated with heart attack and stroke, aneurysms, cognitive decline, and kidney failure. Fortunately, there are ways to bring down blood pressure without the use of medication. Although medications can lower blood pressure, they may cause side effects such as leg cramps, dizziness, and insomnia. “The best habits to establish for reducing blood pressure are the same ones for a healthy life; follow an anti-inflammatory diet, do consistent low-level physical activity throughout the day, and the time plenty of time to reduce stress by learning how to smell the roses,” said Dr. Barry Sears, president of the Inflammation Research Foundation, to Medical Daily in an email. Lowering blood pressure can be attained without a prescription, not just by remaining alert on salty foods, but also with these five little-known everyday habits: 1. Just Breathe As simple as it sounds, breathing is an effective technique to lower blood pressure. Slow breathing and meditative practices such as yoga can help decrease the stress hormones that elevate renin — a kidney enzyme that raises blood pressure. "Sit in a comfortable chair with armrests. Your body should be as relaxed as possible. Place one hand on a part of your chest or preferably your abdomen. Watch your hand rise and fall with each breath...feel the breath as it moves into your abdomen,” Dr. John M. Kennedy, a cardiologist in Los Angeles, Calif., and author of the book The Heart Health Bible told Medical Daily in an email. This should be repeated seven times and can become a daily habit by doing deep breathing 10 minutes in the morning. 2. Soak Up the Sun Sunny days not only boost our mood, but they can help keep our blood pressure in check. A study published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology found exposure to sunlight can alter the levels of nitric oxide in the skin and blood, therefore reducing the blood pressure. When exposed to sunlight, small amounts of nitric oxide are transported from the skin to the circulation lowering blood vessel tone. This decreases the risk of heart attack and stroke. 3. Go for a Brisk Walk Enjoy a nice, sunny day and go for a brisk walk, for aerobic physical activity at least 30 minutes per day. Kennedy believes this "can decrease systolic blood pressure by 4-9 points." However, even "ten minutes a day can make all the difference." When blood pressure isn’t controlled, general isometric exercise is bad. Preferred cardiovascular exercises include: walking, running, cycling, and swimming. 4. Drink Tea Sipping on not one but four cups of tea daily can help control blood pressure. A study presented at the European Society of Hyper tension in Milan found those who avoided coffee and tea consumption all together had the highest rates of blood pressure, pulse pressure, and heart rate. Those who drank tea the most often, between one to four cups a day, had the lowest systolic and diastolic blood pressure readings, as well as the lowest pulse pressure and heart rate. Pinkies up, for your blood pressure’s sake. 5. Listen to Music Listening to your favorite song not only will improve your feeling of well-being but also lower your blood pressure. A study published in the journal Netherland Heart Journal found musicians had lower blood pressure than non-musicians because their somatosensory nerve activity benefited their autonomic nervous system. If you’re not a musician, listening to music alone, especially classical, will do just as good. Lower your blood pressure naturally by adding these five activities to your everyday life.
