Anti-terror drills take place in Seoul's Sadang subway station
Law enforcement, rescue services and private citizens took part in a civil defense drill at a Seoul subway station. An exercise on how to respond to terrorist attacks. Cha Sang-mi takes us closer to the thick of the action. An everyday subway journey turns into chaos as smoke fills the car and people rush outside to escape. (Stand-up) "Poisonous gas has been released inside the train just now and a bomb threat is waiting ahead in the subway station" This lifelike situation is part of a mock counter-terrorism simulation drill that took place at one of Seoul's subway stations at 2 p.m. Tuesday local time. As part of the annual "Ulchi-Freedom Guardian" contingency exercises, Seoul Metro held a civil defense drill at Sadang Station. The stimulation didn't just end with chemical specialists and rescue teams arriving to save the passengers. The anti-terror exercise continued in the subway station where police and special military units moved in and finally subdued the terrorists. The simulated bombing and poison gas attacks were to prepare the public for possible terrorism incidents on a subway car or within the station. (KOREAN) "The purpose of today's drill is to ensure the security of passengers and the safe operation of our trains. We aim to improve our personnel's ability to cope with crises and help civilians quickly escape in such emergencies." Apart from the 250 personnel from the police, armed forces, fire department, and local government, 60 civilians also took part in the drill. It was held by Seoul Metro in conjunction with six other agencies. (KOREAN) "I thought this drill experience was really useful as I can really put this exercise into use in case of any emergency situation." (KOREAN) "I can't imagine what the real situation would be if this is just a simulation. I was so scared." Seoul Metro advises citizens to make use of emergency equipment inside the station in case of emergency. Passengers are first advised to press the emergency button and make the subway staff aware of the situation, then use the fire extinguisher to put out any small fires or use the hammer to break the subway window. Passengers should then push the bar on the platform screen doors so that they can escape the car, before following the evacuation signs to get out. Cha Sang-mi, Arirang News.

गर्भवती महिलायों को 6000 रुपया मिलेगा | Pregnant women will get Rs 6,000 PM Modi's address to Nation LIKE | SHARE | SUBSCRIBE : https://goo.gl/MRfD42 नववर्ष 2017 पर पीएम मोदी ने छोटे कारोबारियों, किसानों, गर्भवती महिलाओं, वरिष्ठ नागरिकों के लिए ऐलान किए NaMo Ka Gift युवा, महिलाओ, किसान, छोटे कारोबार के लिए । PM Modi's address to the Nation Pregnant women scheme ज़िन्दगी की असल ख़ूबसूरती ये नहीं की आप कितने खुश हैं बल्कि ज़िन्दगी की असल खूबसूरती तो ये हैं की दुसरे आपसे कितना खुश हैं | Jai Hind ₹ NaMo ka Gift Sab Ke Liye : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AzeOkkdpnrk ₹ 2017 me Modi Ji Ka Dhamaka : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGBIT57xAcg ₹ Logo Ke Jan Dhan Account Me Ane laga Paisa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQJhYLQAwDU ₹ Jan Dhan Me Kitna Payment Dengi Sarkaar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAqnI-xm9o8 Aap Logo Ko Agar Video Achi Lage To Please Video Ko Like And Share Karna Na Bhoole. ASL Ltd - Flood Field
Please visit the ASL webpage at: http://asllimited.co.uk Please follow us on Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn and Twitter: https://www.facebook.com/asllimiteddrainagemedia1998 https://plus.google.com/113189936892657940173/about http://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=46334022&trk=nav_responsive_tab_profile https://twitter.com/ASLDrainage I can tell you another problem where when i got there they had this flood twice already which had devastated the property. The whole place had to be gutted and refurbished, new carpets, new kitchen units, everything. you can imagine this one was built at the bottom of a hill. There was a huge hill which flattened off a bit to fields. These fields were made up of clay - 300mm of tops soil then a layer of clay. So the water couldn't get through the ground. During heavy rain fall it used to cascade off the fields where it would hit a small made up barrier and it would often breach this barrier and when it did it came down in torrents. And of course the people in the house weren't responsible in their view for the little man made barrier and the ditches that weren't cleaned out so everything is all right. Well i think we should be proactive, i think we should be checking these things and get on well with the farmer and get on well with the authorities. Well anyway, what used to happen, what did happen twice before i got there the water would come down in torrents down the hill then it would come against this house. There were little inadequate drains there to soak the stuff away, which was meant for a normal or heavy rainfall but not this off the fields and the only way it could go is through the house again. It went up through the toilets, in through the windows, everywhere. It brought with it the clay, the muck, the leaves and the horse manure. That all came into the property and then out the other side but it left, as you can imagine, devastating stuff inside the house. Now when i got there it was completely gutted. They were redoing some of the floors because the floors had broken up and cracked because of the water getting underneath and pushing up. So i said to the lady why don't we do what they should have done in the beginning? we will put in a large bore pipe right under the building? She was horrified, she was absolutely horrified but she slowly came to terms with it and agreed its time now to put this right. But she said what are we going to do? we have to cross that main road (there was a main road right in front of the property) will they allow this? and then after the main road there was a quite heavy incline who owns that ground? Well i said leave that to me ill soon sort these things out. And with that i went and saw the authorities, i went and saw the people who owned the ditch. It took several weeks before i negotiated all these things and it wasn't a lot of money it was just being civil and getting along with people. And eventually it was all agreed and of course we did the job. We put a big road side gully in her back yard and we put this great big pipe underneath the house by digging a trench right through the house. We could do that because all the carpets were up and everything was missing from the house because of the last flood and this lady had my advice this time. Then we crossed the main road which needed the highway department and licences which we are licensed to do. Then there was the proper construction of how it discharges into the incline or the ditch. And it was all done and that house is happy ever after. Ive crossed many a road which has been refused in the past but its how you talk to the authorities. If you can convince them that you are not going to disrupt the traffic. If you can convince them that you could do it by say directional boring by boring a hole underneath the road and coming up the other side in other words there is no disturbance to them. Well they see that as a positive. What i would like to say to you now is if you have a challenge or a problem why don't you let an expert deal with it? Im an expert let me deal with it. Let me find a solution for you. Don't wait for the catastrophe, don't wait for the insurance to say we aren't going to insure you anymore. Let us take responsibility, let us come up with a plan of action a positive plan of action that will solve these problems. This is Gerry, bye for now.
