► 5 Worst High Cholesterol Foods You Must Avoid [Clinically Proven]

05:39
See how my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs: ►►►http://drsam.co/yt/StartLoweringYourCholesterolNaturally =============================== 5 Worst High Cholesterol Foods You Must Avoid [Clinically Proven] =============================== Cholesterol has many benefits and it’s definitely NOT your “enemy”. In fact, “low” cholesterol is just as bad as “high” cholesterol levels. However, there are certain foods that are really bad for you and can quickly increase your “bad” cholesterol levels and dramatically increase your risk for heart disease, a heart attack or stroke. Under this video I’ve got a special bonus video about how you can quickly lower your cholesterol levels in less than 30 days, naturally - without changing your diet or exercising. So make sure you take a look... However, let’s first start with the 5 worsts, clinically proven - “high cholesterol” foods that you must avoid! Dairy I’ve been saying this for over 2 decades - Milk is for babies and cow milk is for baby cows! Additionally, 99% of dairy products are pasteurized, which kills any benefits milk could have. Not to mention, the toxins, hormones and drugs these animals are given are highly concentrated in the milk - which goes inside of YOU! All of these factors, plus the saturated fat inside milk, increases your cholesterol and stresses your liver. It doesn’t matter if it’s whole, low or nonfat dairy, it’s all the same. Unfortunately, this also includes two of my favorite foods, ice cream and cheese! Fast Foods It doesn’t matter if it’s a burger, tacos, french fries, pizza or anything else - they’re all high in carbohydrates, hydrogenated and saturated fats, using unhealthy and toxic proteins. It’s cheap food. It may be easy and good for your wallet, but it’s bad for your health and cholesterol levels and you’ll pay the price later in life. Animal Protein The saturated fats and “marble fat” found in meat, pork, poultry and shell-fish is horrible for your health and cholesterol levels. I’ve noticed even grass-fed meat and free-range poultry can still cause high cholesterol in some of my patients, especially the “sensitive” ones. Limit your intake and focus more on vegetable proteins and fish - especially wild-caught salmon. Eggs Eggs can be good or bad. All the cholesterol and fat is located in the egg YOLK, which is why most “experts” say you should only consume egg whites. However, most of the nutrients, antioxidants and half the essential amino acids (protein) are also found in the yolk. The problem is when you COOK the yolk - such as hard-boiled, scrambled and fried eggs. The heat oxidizes the egg and damages both the structure of the protein and fat. So the healthiest way to eat eggs is raw or lightly cooked, so the yolk is still runny. Don’t fry it with butter or vegetable fats. And make sure it’s organic, free-range eggs. Baked Foods/Carbs (Snacks Too) Baked foods such as muffins, cakes, breads, donuts, croissants, rolls, cookies, danishes, scones, pie, etc… The types of foods most people eat in the morning when they’re in a rush, or with their coffee or at work as a snack… These are all bad because they contain hydrogenated and saturated fats, as well as dairy. Not to mention, they’re high in simple carbohydrates and sugars. “Bad” fats increase cholesterol. “Bad” fats + carbs/sugar REALLY increase your cholesterol and lead to numerous health issues. The combination is super unhealthy. Under this same category -- “Snack Foods” such as chips, pretzels, crackers and similar items are almost as bad as these bakes foods. 8 Foods That Can Cause High Cholesterol

06:57
8 Foods That Can Cause High Cholesterol. According to the American Heart Association (AHA), saturated fat and fat transfer can increase cholesterol levels in the blood, leaving you at risk for heart disease. Many foods from animals-such as meat and dairy products that contain fat-containing saturated fats, while the baked products and fast food contains trans fats because the levels of LDL cholesterol ("bad") in particular may be too high for many dietary substances saturated fat, the AHA recommends that saturated fat occupies from 5 to 6% of your calories. Although it is important to limit the amount of cholesterol you get from food, which is a combination of fat and carbohydrates can have the greatest impact to your blood cholesterol levels. According to the AHA, you can make the egg becomes a part of a healthy diet, as long as you don't load the cholesterol from other sources, such as meat containing fat or skin and visible fat milk. However, before you purchase the double cheeseburger, consider this: A McDonald's Big Mac contains 10 grams of saturated fat and a Wendy's Classic Double With Everything has a whopping 20g saturated fat (which is the recommended maximum amount each day). By replacing 1% milk and evaporated milk for whole milk and butter and using reduced-fat cheese, you can reduce the amount of calories and have pasta and cheese with about a third of the fat and saturated fat than formula tradition. Whipped cream beats biscuits and candies such as the most common desserts; but did you know that a cup of single cream has more fat than burgers and almost twice the saturated fat of glazed cake?. Even in the best case (cooked in olive oil after the fat be trimmed), a 4 ounce steak (just a little larger than a card pieces) accounted for a large part of the level of the recommended daily allowance for saturated fat. For example, a chicken leg with the skin still on it has more fat and saturated fat than a hamburger. The fat is the result of the addition of hydrogen to vegetable oil, which are then used in many commercial baking goods or fried foods such as biscuits, cakes, French fries, onions and biscuits.

6 SIGNS THAT YOU MAY HAVE HIGH CHOLESTEROL

05:02
Why is it so important to keep cholesterol at the normal levels and how to maintain it within the health limits? Cholesterol is a vital, fat-like substance that is contained in each cell of our body, as well as in our blood. Most of the cholesterol is produced by the liver, and the rest is procured through food. Please subscribe, click the bell and watch this video until the end to know the complete information. Cholesterol has extremely important reasons for our body and functions: it participates in the construction of cell membranes and in the formation of sexes and adrenal hormones; without cholesterol, the body can not synthesize vitamin D, which is indispensable to healthy bones, nor produces bile acid, without which fat in the body cannot be processed properly. When an excess of cholesterol accumulates in the body, it can not be broken down and this increases the risks to our health. The main danger is the onset of atherosclerosis, which in turn is the cause of most cardiovascular diseases such as a heart attack for example. The causes of increased levels of cholesterol in the blood are different: hereditary predisposition, chronic liver disease thyroid gland and diabetes. A sure way to maintain a normal cholesterol level is regular testing. Specialists recommend except for total, to monitor still poor (LDL) and good (HDL) cholesterol, as well as triglycerides. It is known that 20 years is the age in which the first examination for determining the values of cholesterol should be done. Revealed in time, increased cholesterol can be overcome and can not lead to serious health problems later. Here are 6 signs that you may have high cholesterol. 1. yellow growths on your eyelids. Did you know that yellowish eyelid can be a sign of high cholesterol? Take a good look at the eyelids, if you notice yellow spots, make a doctor’s appointment, check your cholesterol levels and your heart’s health. Also, do you notice painless yellow growths of the upper and lower eyelids? This phenomenon is called “xanthelasma” and it is a clear indication that you have high blood cholesterol levels. 2. gray-colored ring around your cornea. Often this is a sign of aging, so it should not be a cause for worry. But if you are far from retired, the gray circle around the iris may indicate high cholesterol and blood fat, which very often means a risk of heart attack or stroke. This gray colored ring or lacquer is actually composed of cholesterol that collects in the deeper parts of your cornea. 3. tingling sensation in the hands and feet. The tingling sensation of the hands and feet may indicate a problem in your body. This should be taken seriously because these symptoms can be caused by serious health problems. If the blood vessels are blocked by cholesterol, it is likely that you will feel tingling in your hands and feet, because your peripheral nerves are not getting do enough blood oxygen and nutrients for their proper functioning. 4. pain in the neck and back of the head. Because cholesterol levels that are too high can cause some of your blood vessels to block, it’s very possible that your circulation is obstructed. Such can leave your neck sensitive and deteriorate from time to time. The shoulder can also be felt in the same way. Medical practitioners say that high blood cholesterol levels can also make you have a headache, especially in the back of your head. 5. rapid or pounding beating of the heart. When a person says that she has heart palpitations, she thinks of the inner feeling that her heart beats something different from the usual one. Or, it simply has the awareness of the heartbeat. Most of the time, heart palpitations are harmless and they are often experienced after exercise or engaging in the intense physical activity. Sometimes they are due to anxiety, stress, and the intake of certain drugs. Palpitations may also indicate problems with the cardiovascular system, but and high cholesterol levels are one of them. Clogging the blood vessels due to cholesterol can lead to an accelerated operation of your heart. 6. unhealthy diet and lifestyle. If you eat plenty of fatty foods and avoid fruits and vegetables that contain a lot of fiber if you are a smoker and if you drink alcohol in excessive amounts, if you are overweight and do not exercise regularly, then there is a great chance that your cholesterol level is already high. But sometimes high cholesterol depends on our genes. About 1 in 500 people have a specific genetic mutation that leads to the accumulation of cholesterol in their blood. These people suffer from high cholesterol regardless of their lifestyle. if you suspect that you may have high cholesterol then please start eating a healthy diet and get levels checked out at the hospital. Magical drink to reduce cholesterol in 2 weeks. With Only Half Cup A Day You Will Lower Your Cholesterol and Lose Belly Fat Like Crazy!!! With Only 3 Tablespoons A Day You Will Lower Your Cholesterol and Lose Belly Fat Like Crazy!!! Cholesterol is a fatty substance made by your body and found in certain foods. Your body needs some cholesterol in order to function properly, but having too much (high cholesterol) puts you at risk for having a heart attack or stroke. The extra cholesterol that isn’t used by your body builds up in blood vessel walls, causing blockages. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), having high cholesterol doubles your risk of heart disease. Total cholesterol = LDL + HDL + Triglycerides  LDL (low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also called "bad" cholesterol) HDL (high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, also called "good" cholesterol) Triglycerides (fats carried in the blood from the food we eat. Excess calories, alcohol, or sugar in the body are converted into triglycerides and stored in fat cells throughout the body.) The good news is that lifestyle changes are effective in helping you reduce cholesterol levels. They’re also fairly straightforward and can be done at any age. Exercise: Physical activity helps you lose weight and boosts your HDL levels. Aim for 30 to 60 minutes a day of moderate cardio. Eat more fiber: Replace white breads and pastas with whole grains. Eat healthy fats: Olive oil, avocado, and nuts all have fats that won’t raise your LDL. Limit cholesterol intake: Reduce the amount of high-saturated fat foods like cheese, whole milk, and high-fat red meats. Quit smoking. It’s important to remember that everyone is different. Family history and whether or not you have other conditions, such as diabetes, plays a role in your individual risks. Talk to your doctor about your cholesterol levels and ask what he or she thinks your numbers should be. how to reduce cholesterol quickly how to lower cholesterol without medication lower cholesterol diet how to lower your cholesterol in 2 days supplements to lower cholesterol how to reduce cholesterol naturally home remedies foods to avoid with high cholesterol how to control cholesterol in indian diet how to prevent heart attack with food how to prevent heart attack naturally how to avoid heart attack while sleeping how to prevent heart attack when alone how to prevent a heart attack while it's happening how to prevent heart attack at night how to prevent heart attack from happening how to avoid heart attack symptoms how to prevent a stroke naturally foods that prevent stroke how to stop a stroke in progress how to prevent a stroke after a mini stroke how to prevent a stroke aspirin how to prevent a stroke or heart attack how to prevent a stroke from happening again stroke prevention diet To view more, click here: https://goo.gl/ONjJau SUBSCRIBE: Click here: https://goo.gl/wsOEBM Connect with me on: Email: muskaanhamad@gmail.com Muskaan Science Academy: https://goo.gl/ndG6eG Google Plus: https://goo.gl/6bNOp4 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/muskaan.hamad Blog: http://beautyandmakeuptips2016.blogspot.com/ Tumblr: https://naturalhomeremedies.tumblr.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/muskaanhamad/ Vine: Search "Muskaan Hamad" on vine! 20 Foods To Avoid For High Cholesterol

03:43
Cholesterol is a naturally occurring substance produced by the liver and found in animal foods. The human body needs it for the proper function of nerves, cells, and hormones. Currently, about 100 million people in the United States have high LDL cholesterol (above 200 mg/dL), that can clog arteries (hardening of the arteries) and cause strokes and heart attacks. You can improve LDL (bad) cholesterol with prescription medicines (statins), but if you'd instead first make some lifestyle changes to improve your LDL cholesterol, you will experience a better overall health. For start, here are top 20 foods to avoid for high cholesterol: #1 Red & Processed Meat #2 Cheese #3 Fried Chicken #4 French Fries #5 Milk #6 Salad Dressings #7 Hot Dogs #8 GMO Soybeans #9 Yogurts #10 Doughnuts #11 Canned Foods #12 Sausages #13 Cookies #14 Tacos #15 Fried Fish #16 Ice Cream #17 Mayonnaise #18 Potato Chips #19 Pancakes #20 Eggs Tip - Increase your daily intake of dietary fiber. It is recommended to aim at 25–35 grams of dietary fiber per day (minimum). Excellent sources of dietary fiber include whole grains (oat bran, oats, quinoa), legumes (red kidney beans, lentils, chickpea), fruits (mango, apples, pineapple, papaya, pears) and vegetables (broccoli, radish, carrots). Also, regular moderate physical exercise is essential since some recent studies show that daily activity for a period of approximately 3 months can modestly increase beneficial HDL cholesterol by 10%. 🥛 NEVER Eat These 5 Foods If You Want To Lower High Cholesterol

04:47
How my parents lowered their cholesterol by 30 pts in 30 days - no diets or drugs: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/Normal-Cholesterol Or you can see the most powerful fruit for lowering cholesterol: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYFY4Vl19Fo ======================================= 🥛 NEVER Eat These 5 Foods If You Want To Lower High Cholesterol ======================================= Heart disease is the #1 killer in the world and has been for decades. Many people think that high cholesterol is the cause - but it’s not. It’s just ONE of many factors. Sadly, doctors immediately try to prescribe you cholesterol lowering statin drugs when there’s no need. High AND low cholesterol are both bad for your health. Cholesterol is needed for hormone production and every single cell in your body needs cholesterol - including brain cells. Unfortunately, many people eat what they think are “healthy foods”, but are actually not good for them and are causing high cholesterol levels. So today I’m going to reveal 5 foods you should avoid, especially if you want to have HEALTHY cholesterol levels: 1 - Baked Foods/Carbs Stay away from baked foods like muffins, cakes, breads, donuts, croissants, rolls, cookies, danishes, scones, pie, etc… As well as “packaged” foods such as chips, pretzels, crackers and similar items These are all bad because they contain hydrogenated and saturated fats, as well as dairy. Not to mention, they’re high in simple carbohydrates and sugars. The combination of fats and sugars in these foods increases cholesterol and plaque buildup even more, in addition to higher triglycerides, inflammation, high blood sugar and blood pressure. ALL of these combined is what causes heart disease. 2 - DAIRY I’m a firm believe that regardless of anything you read, you should stay away from dairy or at least limit it. This is because milk is for babies and cow milk is for baby cows. We are the only animals who continue to consume milk products after the initial “baby” stage. It’s NOT natural. Besides, 99% of dairy products are pasteurized, which kills any benefits milk could have. Not to mention, the toxins, hormones and drugs these animals are given are highly concentrated in the milk - which goes inside of YOU! These toxins stress your liver and cause an increase in cholesterol. Remember, 80% of your cholesterol is made IN YOUR LIVER. 3 - Animal Protein The saturated fats and “marble fat” found in meat, pork, poultry and shellfish is horrible for your health and cholesterol levels. I’ve noticed even grass-fed meat and free-range poultry can still cause high cholesterol in some of my patients, especially the “sensitive” ones. Limit your intake and focus more on vegetable proteins and fish - especially wild-caught salmon. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/food-and-nutrition/NU00202 4 - Fast Foods It doesn’t matter if it’s a burger, tacos, french fries, pizza or anything else - they’re all high in carbohydrates, hydrogenated, saturated and omega 6 fats, using unhealthy and toxic proteins. It may be easy and good for your wallet because they’re cheap foods -- but it’s bad for your health and cholesterol levels and you’ll pay a higher price later in life. http://www.heart.org/HEARTORG/Conditions/Cholesterol/PreventionTreatmentofHighCholesterol/Cooking-for-Lower-Cholesterol_UCM_305630_Article.jsp#.WCd_XySlGFU 5 - Eggs Eggs can be good or bad. The heat oxidizes the egg and damages the structure of the fat. However, the egg yolk can actually increase your “good” HDL cholesterol and this is done when you eat the yolk that’s still soft and runny. Raw eggs are great or soft boiled. Make sure it’s organic, pastured, free-range eggs. ======================================== Thank you for watching. Please feel free to comment, like or share with your friends. Why Cholesterol Can Go High on a Ketogenic Diet

02:10
Tell Me Your Success with Before & After Images: https://www.drberg.com/add-client-success-story Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz Your report will then be sent via email analyzing 104 potential symptoms, giving you a much deeper insight into the cause-effect relationship of your body issues. It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg talks about cholesterol being high on a ketogenic diet. This is an oversimplified talk and for more detailed data - see the video on LDL. However, as your fat cells shrink, the fat cell not only releases triglycerides, but cholesterol too. Many people do not know the fat cells are filled with both. The excess cholesterol needs to either be eliminated through the liver and gallbladder (bile) or be recycled. This is all a normal process on ketosis. Hey guys, I want to talk about what will happen if your cholesterol went high on a ketogenic diet. The first thing you should know is that when you lose weight, the fat cells actually shrink. They won’t go away completely, you can’t get rid of the fat cells but you can shrink it. Second thing you need to know is inside that fat cell you have, triglycerides and cholesterol. A lot of people don’t realize that cholesterol is also stored in the fat cells. As the fat cell shrinks, you can burn triglycerides for fuel but you cannot burn cholesterol, it is not a fuel source. It is going to be eliminated to the body as you lose weight. As the fat cell is squeezed, the cholesterol is going to increase in the blood and is going to go in the liver and comes out to the bile. As long as your liver is healthy and you’re eating a lot of vegetables, and you have enough bile, you are totally fine even if your LDL is fine. The key thing is to make sure that your triglycerides are low because if you are not using your triglycerides as a fuel then there is a problem, you are probably eating too much sugar but when you are in ketogenic diet and you are doing it correctly and your triglycerides are low and your HDL and LDL is high, all that means is that you are burning more LDL and there is no bad effects that are going to happen, just keep your vegetables high and as you keep closer to your weight loss goal, that will level out and come back normal. Many studies associate breakfast with better concentration and memory, good health, lower levels of bad cholesterol, and lower chances of developing heart disease and diabetes and gaining weight. As a matter of fact, it is shown that people that consume breakfast on a regular basis are more healthy and leaner in comparison to those people who skip breakfast. Many people skip this meal and replace it with coffee. However, you should know that by doing that you might increase food cravings and disturb the function of the body. However, this does not mean that you can eat everything, it is crucial for you to have a healthy breakfast. The combination of these healthy ingredients can help burn calories, eliminate belly fat, regulate cholesterol and sugar levels in the blood. To prepare the perfect breakfast, you will need chia seeds and oats. Both of these ingredients are notably helpful for individuals who have the health conditions mentioned before. The oatmeal has beta-glucan. The beta-glucan is actually a soluble fiber which can reduce the bad cholesterol. In addition, consuming oatmeal on a regular basis can improve the cardiovascular health. Oats have thiamin, maganese, selenium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium and zinc. In fact, one cup of cooked oatmeal contains around 150 calories, 6 grams of proteins and 4 grams of fiber. The chia seeds are rich in omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids. These seeds have powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and are beneficial when it comes to the cardiovascular system. In fact, one ounce of chia seeds contains around 30 percent of maganese, 18 percent of calcium, small amounts of copper and potassium and 27 percent of phosphorus. According to many studies, the chia seeds can help treat diverticulosis and arthritis. Here is the complete recipe. 4 tablespoon of Chia seeds, 1 cup of oats, a Pinch of salt, 2 cups of water, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of honey. The healing powers of honey are well known throughout the world and cinnamon is also a very healthy spice for you. This is a very powerful healthy breakfast that will energize your body and give you great sense of being. The first thing you need to do is take one pot. In this pot add the water and cinnamon. Once the water begins to boil, you need to lower the heat. After that add the oats in the pot and leave them for around 5 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat, cover it and leave it aside for 5 minutes. After this time, you need to stir well. Add the salt, honey and chia seeds and stir again. With all this done, your breakfast is ready to consume. Enjoy your healthy breakfast and its amazing benefits. If you find this video useful, share it with your friends and family.

WHY I STARTED EATING VEGAN | HOW I ELIMINATED HIGH CHOLESTEROL FOR GOOD

06:45
UPDATE: After 7 years, I no longer eat vegan. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and introduced animal products back into my diet to help with energy and hormone production. I will leave this video up in case it is beneficial to others. A health scare with high cholesterol made me think differently about the foods I was putting into my body. Our best man introduced me to the China Study and after that, I adopted a vegan plant based diet. Little did I know, my cholesterol levels dropped significantly and I am no longer being threatened with taking medication. With a vegan diet, I have beat my genetics and no longer face high cholesterol. Welcome to Seeking Finding Heart! 10 High Cholesterol Foods You Must Avoid

03:12
10 High Cholesterol Foods You Must Avoid 1. Whole-Fat Dairy Products Go easy on milk products that have more than 1% milk fat, for instance cheeses (most of them), cream and nondairy coffee creamers. Fat-free milk, toned milk and non-fat dairy products are any day better than whole-fat dairy. 2. Egg Yolks Eggs are a high protein food with lots of health benefits. However the egg yolk is loaded with cholesterol and can cause lot of harm. It is advisable to have egg whites and eliminate that yellow part. 3. Fast Foods Fast foods like burgers, tacos, fries, packed chips and fried chicken are high in both total fat and saturated fat. You can replace these with healthier options like broiled sandwiches, salads with low fat dressing and foods that are not fried. 4. Meat, Poultry and Fish These products are good for health when taken in regulated quantity. Limit these to no more than 5 oz (140 g) a day. Also balance these out by consuming other low-cholesterol foods. 5. Ice-creams Apparently ice-creams are a high cholesterol food item. These have more fat than a deep-fried snack! You may turn to homemade fruit ice-creams to satiate those cravings. 6. Alcohol A limited amount of alcohol is not harmful; in fact it might have positive effects on your heart. However excessive drinking, especially hard liquor, can raise cholesterol levels to an unwanted degree. 7. Baked Food Items Yes, you need to cut down on those muffins, cakes, quick breads and croissants. Made from saturated or hydrogenated fat, whole eggs or whole milk, these can significantly raise the level of cholesterol in your body. Better opt for low-fat baked goods and limit the use of spreads or toppings as well. 8. Nuts Nuts are a very good snack option for those hunger pangs in between the meals. Apparently, some of the nuts have high saturated fats. Only almonds, hazelnuts and pine nuts offer a balanced cholesterol amount. 9. Aerated Drinks Aerated drinks are high on sugar content. All that sugar can easily affect your cholesterol levels. Aerated drinks are anyway not good for overall health. 10. Liver - As the fact goes, cholesterol is produced and stored in the liver. Consuming liver will lead to increased levels of cholesterol, at least temporarily. It all depends on your body’s requirement, whether the added cholesterol will be used up to meet body functions or contribute to the cholesterol your body won’t use. Are Shrimps High In Cholesterol?

04:49
How bad is the cholesterol in Shrimps? How often can you eat them and how much? Discover what Dr. Sam Robbins, a leading natural health expert, has to say how shrimps affect on your cholesterol levels. http://drsam.co/yt/Shrimps-CholesLo ********************************* Are Shrimps High In Cholesterol?********************************* A small serving of 4 ounces of shrimps supplies about 220 mg of Cholesterol. For people at high risk of heart disease, that amounts to a full day’s allotment. This doesn’t mean that shrimp can’t be a healthy choice. As with any food, it just means that you should be mindful of how often you are eating shrimps and how much. Shrimps are very low in total fat with almost no saturated fat at all - which is good for the arteries. Another desirable aspect to shrimps fat content is that it’s high in omega-3 fats, which are very important for cardiovascular health. However, the cholesterol in your foods is not really the main cause of a heart attack or stroke. There are many other factors that are far more important-such as your hormone profile, life-style and proper supplementation. Improving your cholesterol levels is very important but it is just one factor out of many, when it comes to preventing and reversing heart disease. You also need to improve your HDL/LDL ratios, triglycerides, homocysteine and other lipid levels. Managing your lipid profiles is probably one of the most important aspects to health, longevity and disease prevention. Making dramatic life-style changes — such as eating much better, eliminating lots of different foods and exercising daily — is very important but for many people can be difficult to start and it takes a longer time to see results. Do you know how to start easier and get faster results? I've created simple and convenient solution - that can help optimize you cholesterol levels, HDL/LDL ratios, triglycerides, homocysteine and other lipid levels. It's called: CholesLo ™ and contains ingredients that have been scientifically research and clinically tested to help support healthy cholesterol levels. CholesLo ™ Has Been Called: “A Super Vitamin For Your Heart”. High Fat Ketogenic Diet & Clogged Arteries

Mini-Keto Course: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis Need More Details on What to Eat: https://shop.drberg.com/how-to-burn-fat-booklet Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis Download Keto Essentials https://m.me/drericberg?ref=w2128577 Dr. Berg answers the question "will doing a high fat ketogenic diet clog your arteries?" It sounds logical that adding fat to the body will increase more fat in the arteries and on the body, however, that’s not how it works. Hormones turn calories into different things. The main hormone insulin is responsible for changing carbs into clogged arteries and fat on your body. If you keep insulin low by keeping carbs low - the dietary fat will not clog the arteries nor will it end up making you fat. Insulin is very inflammatory and can also start the progressive inflammatory process of your arteries. Hey guys, dr. berg here and in this video we are going to talk about will doing a high fat ketogenic diet clog your arteries. Just from the pure observation of eating more fat and a fatty clogged artery, it sounds logical that if you were to eat fat you are going to get a clogged artery. It sounds logical that you would eat more fat and then get more fat in your body but it is not how it works in the body because in the body there is a various hormones that tell certain types of calories what to convert into and the hormone that tells the body whether to clog or clean out the artery really is called insulin. Insulin is like the switch that converts fat into the body storage and also clogs arteries. Insulin is a very inflammatory hormone if you have too much of it you could get a lot of inflammation which can set you up for a whole series of events from the body starts healing the inflammation in the arteries with a combination of the cholesterols, calcium and fibrous kind of a connective tissue to form a little bit of a clot. What started that would be the high levels of insulin, not necessarily consuming cholesterol. Cholesterol is made by almost every single cell in the body. Your body makes about 3,000mg of cholesterol every single day. 3,000mg of cholesterol is equal to 300 strips of bacon, about a pound of butter or 14 eggs. Your body makes a lot of cholesterol. When you consume more fat, your body just makes less. That’s how it works. What really creates this clogged arteries is high levels of insulin by consuming too many carbohydrates. If you were to cut your carbohydrates down, like the breads, pasta, cereal, crackers, things like that, and sugar. If you would cut that down, you would notice your cholesterol would go way down. Also your triglycerides and your bad cholesterol will go way down. If you were to increase the sugar and the insulin, your cholesterol goes up and you should even experiment yourself to see if this is true for you. But what I want to give you is I have a little mini course that is very quick and you can probably get it done in maybe 20 minutes on ketosis to give you the basics. I show you how it works, what to eat, the tweaks that I am going to recommend and the side effects. 5 Foods To Avoid For High Cholesterol

Follow us on Twitter: @foods4health1 Recipes4Health: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2bZhXBHIb51n1fE3VWPmcQ/videos To learn more about the health benefits of food, visit: http://www.benefitsoffood.blogspot.com With heart disease on the rise in countries around the world, it is important that we are staying away from foods and food sources that can contribute to high cholesterol and increase the risk of heart disease. If you have high cholesterol or are at risk of developing it, there are foods you will want to avoid so that you can maintain healthy cholesterol levels and improve your overall cardiovascular health. Not only will avoiding these high cholesterol foods help lower your cholesterol levels, but they can also help to reduce inflammation that can reduce the risk of heart disease and also help with weight loss. Now, lets discuss some foods you will want to avoid if you have high cholesterol or want to limit your chances of developing it. 1. First, processed meats such as deli meats and bacon should be avoided for high cholesterol. There have been a number of studies that have shown that processed meats have been associated with elevated cholesterol levels, as well as an increase in cardiovascular disease. Processed meats such as bacon, sausage and hot dogs should all be avoided if you want to reduce your risk of heart disease and lower cholesterol levels. To make matters worse, these processed meats are often high in saturated and trans fats, as well as sodium, which can be a major detriment to your cholesterol levels and overall heart health. 2. You will want to avoid processed vegetable oils as well as they can increase your cholesterol levels. Hydrogenated oils can be especially bad for your cholesterol levels since they contain high levels of trans fats. Many studies have shown that these trans fats increase “bad” LDL cholesterol levels while also lowering “good” HDL cholesterol. Other oils that you may want to avoid when it comes to cholesterol is corn oil and vegetable oil, as these oils can also raise both total and LDL cholesterol levels. 3. Almost everyone enjoyed cookies and other baked goods. However, these high sugar products can wreak havoc on your overall cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels and should be avoided if you want to maintain healthy cholesterol levels. Research shows that sugar and added sugars are associated with increased “bad” LDL cholesterol and triglycerides in the body. Not only that, but these sugars will lower the “good” HDL cholesterol in your body as well. Baked goods aren’t the only high sugar foods you will want to avoid for high cholesterol, but sweetened drinks such as soda and fruit juices can also lead to undesired cholesterol levels, as well as increase inflammation and the risk of heart disease. 4. Surprising to some, but refined grain products and other refined carbohydrates can also have negative consequences on cholesterol and should be avoided as best you can. Foods such as bagels, white pasta and white bread can all negatively effect your “bad” LDL cholesterol levels. As studies have shown, these refined grains and carbohydrates have a high glycemic index rating, which can significantly raise your cholesterol levels and risk for heart disease. 5. Lastly, if you want to reduce your risk of high cholesterol or if you have high cholesterol currently, you will want to avoid high fat dairy products. High fat milk and dairy products contain fatty acids, and many of these products can have a negative impact on your cholesterol. The saturated and trans fats found in these dairy products can increase total plasma cholesterol levels, especially “bad” LDL cholesterol. As well, you will want to avoid these dairy products as they will not only increase cholesterol levels, but also increase your risk of heart disease, inflammation and weight gain. 10 Foods to Avoid with High Cholesterol

02:04
1. Liver The amount of fats in your bloodstream remain higher than usual several hours after eating liver. Since your liver is the organ responsible for the production of cholesterol, consuming animal liver will boost your cholesterol levels. Liver is a great source of iron, but skip organ meats and choose lean cuts of meat instead. 2. Full-Fat Dairy Dairy products are known to be high in calcium, vitamin D and potassium. Your bones depend on these nutrients to remain strong and healthy. However, consuming whole-fat dairy products are high in cholesterol and saturated fat which can become a health hazard if you have high cholesterol levels. Replacing with low-fat or non-fat versions allows you to incorporate dairy products into your diet in a healthy way. 3. Fried Chicken Eating foods high in saturated fats is one of the main causes of high cholesterol circulating in your blood. Greasy, deep-fried chicken is one of the worst offenders if you are on a cholesterol-lowering diet. Deep frying - or pan frying- soaks up fat, adding extra calories which can aggravate your existing health condition. For a healthier option, prepare skinless chicken breast by grilling or baking to minimize the fat content. 4. French Fries White potatoes are rich in potassium and magnesium, two crucial minerals that contribute to multiple health benefits. French fries however, are usually fried in partially hydrogenated vegetable oil which contributes to trans-fats. These unhealthy fats build up cholesterol in the arteries, causing damage to the body cells and your heart. Prepare your potatoes by boiling or baking, a healthier option for your body. 5. Ice Cream Some of the best-tasting desserts are actually some of the worst when it comes to raising your cholesterol levels. Ice cream is made by a mixture containing high-fat milk or cream, glucose-based sweeteners, and flavorings such as chocolate or vanilla. This is definitely not a good food option to eat regularly if you're concerned about your cholesterol. An average serving of vanilla ice cream contains almost 5 grams of saturated fat, which makes up for a quarter of the maximum recommended daily intake. 6. Processed Meat Food products such as bacon, sausages, hot dogs and cold cuts are generally classified as unhealthy. Daily consumption of processed meat raises LDL (bad) cholesterol levels in the blood, increasing the risk of coronary heart disease. There is also growing evidence that links processed meats to diabetes and several types of cancer, particularly colon cancer. 7. Microwave Popcorn Popcorn is low in calories and high in fiber, preparing it the right way is in fact a healthy snack. However, microwave popcorn is loaded with salt, oil and butter that have the ability to increase cholesterol levels. When the bags of microwave popcorn are heated, they release particles that may be associated with health risks. Select air-popped variety, or pop the kernels yourself on the stove with olive oil. 8. Doughnuts Doughnuts taste so good, finding a way to resist them is no easy task. But, if you're serious about lowering your cholesterol level, bid farewell to doughnuts. These doughy treats usually come one way, and that way is deep-fried. Fried foods often contain lots of unsaturated and trans fats that lower your HDL (good) cholesterol and raise your LDL (bad) cholesterol. Add to that lots of sugar and other unhealthy ingredients, this treat can cause harm to your health. 9. Red Meat (Beef, Porc, Lamb) Red meat is an excellent source of complete protein which is the building blocks of every cell in the body. Choose lean cuts of red meat that does not contain high levels of fat or saturated fat. Trim off any visible fat to further reduce the levels of saturated fat content. Limit your serving size and include more veggies and high-fiber foods on your dinner plate. Fiber acts like a sponge and soaks up cholesterol, helping to remove the excess cholesterol that's floating in your bloodstream. 10. Pastries Pastries are high-calorie, low nutrient foods that will pile extra pounds around your waistline, while having damaging effects on your skin and heart. For a healthy snack choose dark chocolate (70% or more cocoa), its rich amount of cocoa attributes to a number of health benefits. Eating dark chocolate, in moderation, has been found to significantly decrease LDL (bad) cholesterol due to its abundance of powerful antioxidant flavonoids. Unlike pastries, cocoa has shown to prevent cholesterol from lodging in the arteries.
