How to use Foster - inhaler technique

02:16
Foster is a new asthma combination inhaler, containing beclometasone dipropionate and formoterol. The device is similar to a Ventolin (salbutamol or albuterol) inhaler. As with relief inhalers, the trick is to breath in slowly. With Foster you don't have to shake the container before use. Basically, you let the air out of the lungs, place the inhaler close to the mouth, begin to slowly breathe in, press on the inhaler to release the dose while continuing to inhale slowly until you can no longer breath more air, hold the breath, slowly release. Since Foster contains a corticosteroid (beclometasone), don't forget to rinse the mouth and after use. http://common-sense-medicine.blogspot.com
