Dangers of The Overuse of Antibiotics | Dr. Weston
Healthcare seems to have come full circle as it moved away from natural cures into synthetics, but has now begun to look closer at the natural world once more for medicine. Part of this may be due to the new resistant superbugs that have begun to make things more difficult. Dr. Weston discussed antibiotics. Antibiotics inhibit the growth of or even kill bacteria. These have saved countless lives and improved many conditions for many years. Originally antibiotics came only from natural sources, but as demand and our knowledge grew, we replaced these with synthetics. Superbugs were predicted early on, but we ignored the warnings. Regrettably, the dire warnings have now become a reality. There are strains of mutated, antibiotic-resistant bacteria that ignore even our most effective antibiotics or even eat them like candy. We overuse antibiotics or use them incorrectly. About 80% of the antibiotics sold in the US are used for livestock. This overuse has created our new problems, but antibiotics also come with risks of allergy, side effects, and the destruction of helpful bacteria we need. Natural antibiotics abound in our world, without all the dangerous side effects, like garlic, pau d'arco, olive leaf, cloves, sage, cinnamon, and ionic silver. Our natural world has many plants, herbs, and foods that can offer so much more than we know. -- Subscribe to our channel: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=sunwarriortribe -- Visit us at: http://www.sunwarrior.com/ Like us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/sunwarrior ‪Follow us on Twitter: http://twitter.com/Sunwarrior Hang out with us on Google+: http://plus.google.com/100431369190586473063/posts Follow us on Pinterest: https://pinterest.com/sunwarriortribe/

Recovering from Antibiotics
“How to recover from antibiotics.” – What does that mean? If you’ve been treated with a course of antibiotics for a long or a short time, or if you’ve been using food that has antibiotics in it, without you knowing, or if you’ve been misusing antibiotics in any way, you might start to have health problems. You might suffer from certain complaints that will make your life a little bit more difficult. Side Effects of Antibiotics Let me discuss the complaints that you might have from use of antibiotics. The most affected organs would probably be your intestines. That’s because the antibiotics are going to kill the bacterial flora, which is the friendly bacteria in your intestines that is responsible for digestion and making vitamin K, which is important for you. So, you will notice that you’re having trouble in your gut, so, you will start to have bloating, gas, irregular bowel movement, so, you will have constipation, then diarrhea and then bloating again and so on. You might also suffer from heartburn and feeling generally unwell. You might also start to notice bleeding from the gums or from the nose. That’s also related to the lack of vitamin K. You might also suffer from yeast infections, which is a fungal infection that can be anywhere on your body, either on your skin or in your mouth or in the genital area. All that is because your bacteria flora – the friendly bacteria in the gut – has been affected by the antibiotics. So, what we need to do now is correct the level of bacterial flora in your gut. How do we do that? First of, you will need to lead a healthy lifestyle. So, you drink a lot of water. Avoid bad foods. Bad foods are rich in sugar, carbohydrates that are unhealthy, like pasta, packed foods, processed foods – these are all unhealthy foods. Instead of that you should eat vegetables, fruits, grains, healthy fats (that’s vegetable oils mainly). Probiotics and Prebiotics You can also use probiotics. These are very healthy foods that are fermented, so that helps the growth of the good bacteria in the gut. Probiotics are mainly: yogurt, kefir and yeast. If you are suffering from any problems with kefir or yeast, I would suggest that you take it slowly. So you start with very small amounts, like one spoon a day, and then increase it gradually. If you go to the shop and want to buy probiotics, look for the name lactobacillus on it – that’s the good bacteria for you. You can also use foods that are called prebiotics. Prebiotics are foods that help the growth of bacteria, because they don’t get absorbed in the body, they stay for a long time in the intestines. Like, leeks (garlic, onions), honey, bananas, these are all very good foods for your bacteria flora. You can also try fermented fresh vegetables. That means, pickles that are pickled in a healthy way. So, you can try to pickle at home. So, try for example the ginger, to pickle it at home, or maybe cucumbers, also are healthy. But don’t add too much salt. So, pickled vegetables are very good for your gut flora. If you’re a fan of soups you can try bone broth or gelatin soups. You can buy bones from the butcher, and what’s inside – the broth – you can make soups with it, and that’s very good for your gut flora. You can also add onions to it, or any vegetables of your choice. It’s very important to know that your gut flora affects the function of your intestines, and healthy intestines affect the whole body. So it’s very important to replace the gut flora that has been affected by your antibiotic abuse. I wish you all the best! Antibiotics - What You Need To Know
See much more honest health information at: http://www.rehealthify.com/ Rehealthify offers reliable, up-to-date health information, anytime, anywhere, for free. -- video script below -- Antibiotics are powerful medicines that fight bacterial infections. Used properly, antibiotics can save lives. They either kill bacteria or keep them from reproducing. Your body's natural defenses can usually take it from there. Antibiotics do not fight infections caused by viruses, such as • Colds • Flu • Most coughs and bronchitis • Sore throats, unless caused by strep If a virus is making you sick, taking antibiotics may do more harm than good. Each time you take antibiotics, you increase the chances that bacteria in your body will be able to resist them. Later, you could get or spread an infection that those antibiotics cannot cure. Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) causes infections that are resistant to several common antibiotics. When you take antibiotics, follow the directions carefully. It is important to finish your medicine even if you feel better. If you stop treatment too soon, some bacteria may survive and re-infect you. Do not save antibiotics for later or use someone else's prescription. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Antibiotics are Overused
The best way to prevent transmission of Ebola in the United States, or any country for that matter, is to identify and quarantine those with the disease as soon as possible. However, the first person diagnosed with Ebola in the US was, unfortunately, released after coming to an emergency department, even though he had symptoms indicative of the disease. He was sent home on antibiotics. The inappropriate use of antibiotics is the subject of this week's Healthcare Triage. This was based heavily on a piece I wrote for the Upshot, which you can go read here: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/21/upshot/on-an-antibiotic-you-may-be-getting-only-a-false-sense-of-security.html. Study: Many hospitals use too many antibiotics
NEW YORK (AP) -- Doctors in many U.S. hospitals are unnecessarily prescribing multiple antibiotics for several days when just one would do the job, a new study released Wednesday suggests. Health officials have sounded alarms that overuse of antibiotics is helping to breed dangerous bacteria that are increasingly resistant to treatment. Much of the attention has been on doctor offices that wrongly prescribe bacteria-targeting antibiotics for illnesses caused by viruses. The new study focuses on a different issue - when hospital doctors throw more than one antibiotic at a mystery infection. Faced with a feverish and deteriorating patient entering the hospital, doctors will at first prescribe a couple of antibiotics. That happens "when we're not exactly sure what we're dealing with," as a bet that at least one of the drugs will help, explained Dr. Barry Fox. He is an expert on antibiotic use at the University of Wisconsin, and was not involved in the study. Once tests are run and the bug is identified, doctors are supposed to drop any unnecessary second antibiotic, Fox and other experts said. But the research found that often doesn't happen. In three-quarters of the 500 hospitals studied, patients were still on more than one intravenous antibiotic after two days. The researchers looked at hospital records for 2008 through 2011. Use of redundant antibiotics can drive up medical costs and increase side effects like diarrhea, the authors said. The researchers focused on 23 antibiotic combinations that should rarely be used together - even before test results are back, said one of the authors, Dr. Arjun Srinivasan of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The other researchers are from Premier Inc., a North Carolina-based company that operates a purchasing network for hospitals and also does health research. The study is being published in a medical journal, Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology. The authors call it the first national study to look at the issue. खतरनाक है आपके लिए antibiotics दवाइयां | side effects of antibiotics medicines | Health is wealth
Please Like, Share and Subscribe our channel. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Facebook Page : https://www.facebook.com/interestinglovelyfact/ How to Reduce Side Effects of Antibiotics in Hindi You must have heard "Health is wealth". This proverb is completely right in itself, so every person tries to take full care of his health. You too will do this. Just like the food and water we need in the life of today, it is important to keep medicines as well as maintain our health. Today, we are completely dependent on medicines, not dependent on Healthy Food and Exercise. As soon as we have light cough, cold fever or head ache, we immediately resort to medicines. The medicines we use most for their treatment are antibiotics. Antibiotic medicine is made up of two Greek words, anti-opposites and bios, ie life, which eliminates harmful bacteria in our body and prevents its growth. Therefore, antibiotic are used to treat infection by bacteria such as colds, colds, fever, cough, TB, pneumonia, skin infections etc. A few years ago when there was no work medicine for many diseases, then in the year 1928, the first antibiotic drug Penicillin, discovered by Alexander Fleming, revolutionized the medical field. Slowly many new antibiotic were invented, due to which treatment of many diseases was possible very quickly and easily. But gradually people became so educated and used to start these medicines for every small problem, so that side effects of these medicines came out. Like using more of them, your body's immune system is the less power to fight against diseases, as well as damage to many parts of the body. Apart from this, more use of heart attacks and liver damage. Now the situation is such that the excessive use of antibiotic has become so powerful that the harmful bacteria present in our body has become so powerful that many of these medicines have been affected and its poor results have started to appear. It is a matter of great concern for India because most of the antibiotic is used in India. Recently, the Government of India has banned 344 medicines including the popular cure of cough, the popular medicine of cold water vicks action 500 extra (Vicks Action 500 Extra), Citrogen, Fendidum cough syrup, Caffeine, and Reptrazol. Many such medicines have been used in the US and England for a long time already, but it is widely used in India. This is all the medicines that we easily get without the advice of a doctor. However, the companies making these companies have challenged the government's decision in the Delhi High Court and have taken a stay order against the court. According to one figure, the use of antibiotic for the last several years has increased by 30 to 40% in which India is number 1. There was a time when the use of antibiotic was eliminated easily with TB-like illness, but its use had a negative effect on the patient's immune system and alone in India. Now the best way to get rid of these medicines is by healthy lifestyle, which includes nutritious food, stress free day, yoga and exercise. Then your "health" will become your real "wealth". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music by : Fanfare for Space by Kevin MacLeod is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/...) Antibiotic Body Damage Recovery (Levaquin Cipro Side Effects and How I Healed)
It is my opinion only, that the damage these antibiotics are causing to people's bodies may be partially or fully due to the drug's destruction of crucially important healthy forms of bacteria in the gut. This, along with leaky gut which I believe is epidemic, may cause both a fungal version of yeast called candida to breach the barrier in the gut, and give the immune system a particularly difficult time managing it, as well as oxalate to also permeate the entire body causing a potential double-whammy that if addressed, may reverse the condition. Lots to be pissed off about with this situation. But one biggie is in how people are being told this condition is permanent. Although I believe it can be difficult to reverse, I believe it is entirely possible if approached from the above theoretical standpoint. That is how I approached it, and have had tremendous results. See my programs as well as the free info over at http://MaintenanceMotions.com. If you have some organic expeller-pressed coconut oil...or oil of your choice according to options available via Ayurvedic tradition...I'd give oil pulling a try, sticking with it for a solid few months. I have found it to be incredibly effective for joint/tendon issues, with dietary change, gut health with probiotics, and candida management to offer profound improvements. I need to consistently maintain the effort, but it's a part of my lifestyle regardless. Then I added some high quality ubiquinol to assist with mitochondrial damage, and energy production. http://FacelessFatloss.com My Over 40 program: http://Over40andRipped.com And Facebook: http://facebook.com/tim.ripped Love, Happiness, Health and Peace.........Tim .

Athletic people often face upper respiratory infections and other medical illnesses. Occasionally they need antibiotics to treat these infections. While it can be safe to exercise or play sports while taking antibiotics, there are some concerns worth discussing with your doctor. The concern that has received the most attention is the risk of tendon rupture. Fluoroquinolones, including ciprofloxacin (Cipro) and levofloxacin (Levaquin), are often used to treat urinary infections. These antibiotics have been associated with increased risks of tendon ruptures. Antibiotic-associated diarrhea can occur when you take antibiotics. These medications can alter the normal bacteria in the G.I. system. In order to decrease your chance of having diarrhea, your doctor can keep the duration of antibiotic treatment as short as possible that still eliminates the infection. Antibiotics that have been linked to photosensitivity are a concern for anyone who plays outdoor sports or exercises outside. Tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones and sulfa drugs are believed to carry this risk. It is possible that you could develop a serious sunburn on body parts exposed to the sun or have an increased risk of skin cancer if you use these medications. Theoretically you should avoid these antibiotics or use sunscreen and wear fully protective clothing. By no means does this list of concerns represent medical advice. If you have an infection and require antibiotic treatment, you should ask the doctor about possible complications with those drugs, especially as they pertain to exercise and sports. Please remember, while I appreciate your questions, I cannot and will not offer specific medical advice by email, online, on my show, or in the comments at the end of these posts. My responses are meant to provide general medical information and education. Please consult your physician or health care provider for your specific medical concerns.

CBD Oil Side Effects Warning (Do Not Buy CBD Until You See This)
3 simple tips to follow before buying: 1. Always check the CBD purity, it should be 50% and more. 2. Choose products made in the US or Canada. Due to strict regulations this is your quality guarantee. 3. Do not expect to purchase quality and safe to use CBD oil for pennies. High quality CBD oil should cost at least $45-$50. Choose another product if that amount puts you into an uncomfortable situation financially. Brands that I trust and recommend: 1. Verified CBD Oil (http://verifiedcbdoil.com). This is probably the oldest brand of CBD I know. Tons of success stories and quality I have tested myself - these are the reasons I have been recommending this brand to my friends and family for years. The only downside is that due to their recent TV "fame" they are often out of stock and can be hard to get. Official website: http://verifiedcbdoil.com Benefits and Side Effects of CBD Oil Cannabidiol, or CBD as it is commonly known, is a very interesting chemical. And it is responsible for many people changing their views on marijuana use for medicinal purposes. While everyone has heard of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), not many are aware of CBD. The two chemicals are both contained in marijuana, but they serve very different purposes. While the THC in marijuana is will get you high, CBD is a chemical with many benefits from a medicinal point of view - and it does not have the same side effects on the body as THC. What are the Health Benefits of CBD Oil? The ingredient CBD has been used for many years to make several products. One of these products is CBD oil. According to many studies which have carried out on this product, there are many different health benefits associated with it. First and foremost, it can help people who are experiencing excessive nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy or some other type of medical treatment. It is also great at reducing the seizures some people get on a regular basis. Another benefit of CBD oil is how it helps combat inflammation and neuro-degenerative disorders. It is also great for anxiety and depression sufferers. So if you are suffering from one of these conditions, you may want to talk to your physician about the possibility of getting on CBD oil for a few months. CBD oil also contain various o nutrients like carbohydrates, amino acids, vitamins such as vitamin B1, B2, B6, D and E, trace minerals such as calcium, iron zinc, magnesium potassium, and several other compounds required by the human body for healthy functioning, such as chlorophyll, carotene, ketones, glycosides, nitrogen-based compounds, etc.. Unlike THC, CBD oil doesn't make you high. The CBD in these this product will not make you feel the same as the THC does. This is because THC is a psychoactive chemical whereas CBD is not. It does not act in the same manner when it comes into contact with your brain's pathways. It does not interfere with your psychological or psychomotor functions either. For those who want a simpler explanation: CBD oil is 100% safe and won't get you high! Are there Any Side Effects of CBD Oil? Whereas CBD oil has been proven safe for human consumption, some researches done on it have identified a possibility of side effects in patients taking the oil. One study which was published in 1886 in the International Journal of Neuroscience showed that CBD oil could cause some mild side effects in patients with dystonia. These side effects include dry mouth, hypotension, sedation, psychomotor slowing, and lightheadedness. However, there are no side effects which have been reported when CBD is taken in high doses. As you can see, you should not worry when taking CBD oil as its side effects are very mild. Buy CBD oil today and experience the many benefits associated with it. The Dangers of Antibiotics – Clarithromycin / Ciprofloxacin – How Antibiotics Destroyed My Life
In November 2014 and April 2015, I was severely impacted by two different sets of antibiotics. These antibiotics were Clarithromycin (Biaxin) and Ciprofloxacin (Ciprodex). I have made this video to share my story and to help others adversely affected by antibiotics. In the video I discuss my life prior to the antibiotics, the actual incidents, and my current state of affairs. I share things that have helped me along over the past 3 years and speak about potential better days ahead. Please help me spread the word about the dangers of antibiotics, particularly macrolide antibiotics such as Clarithromycin (Biaxin) and fluoroquinolone antibiotics such as Ciprofloxacin (Ciprodex). Too many unsuspecting people are being severely injured, permanently disabled or worse, killed, by these extremely potent antibiotics. It's time to send a message to pharmaceutical companies, doctors, pharmacists and regulatory agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Health Canada, that poisoning the masses will no longer be tolerated in our society. Overuse of Antibiotics in Pakistan I Dangerous Trend I Only Use for Bacterial Infections
The overuse of antibiotics — especially taking antibiotics even when they're not the appropriate treatment — promotes antibiotic resistance. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, up to one-third to one-half of antibiotic use in humans is unnecessary or inappropriate. Antibiotics treat bacterial infections but not viral infections. For example, an antibiotic is an appropriate treatment for strep throat, which is caused by the bacterium Streptococcus pyogenes. But it's not the right treatment for most sore throats, which are caused by viruses. Other common viral infections that don't benefit from antibiotic treatment include: Cold Flu (influenza) Bronchitis Most coughs Some ear infections Some sinus infections Stomach flu Taking an antibiotic for a viral infection: Won't cure the infection Won't keep other people from getting sick Won't help you or your child feel better May cause unnecessary and harmful side effects Promotes antibiotic resistance If you take an antibiotic when you actually have a viral infection, the antibiotic attacks bacteria in your body — bacteria that are either beneficial or at least not causing disease. This misdirected treatment can then promote antibiotic-resistant properties in harmless bacteria that can be shared with other bacteria, or create an opportunity for potentially harmful bacteria to replace the harmless ones. Taking antibiotics responsibly It's tempting to stop taking an antibiotic as soon as you feel better. But the full treatment is necessary to kill the disease-causing bacteria. Failure to take an antibiotic as prescribed can result in the need to resume treatment later and may promote the spread of antibiotic-resistant properties among harmful bacteria. Consequences of antibiotic resistance For many years, the introduction of new antibiotics outpaced the development of antibiotic resistance. In recent years, however, the pace of medication resistance has contributed to an increasing number of health care problems. Approximately 2 million infections from antibiotic-resistant bacteria occur in the United States each year, resulting in 23,000 deaths. Other consequences of medication-resistant infections include: More-serious illness Longer recovery More-frequent or longer hospitalization More doctor visits More-expensive treatments ……………………………………………………………………………………. Sinus Infections Are Treated Too Long With Antibiotics: CDC Study
Even when new regulations have been passed, U.S. physicians are still prescribing too many antibiotic medication for sinus infections. This puts patients at risk of side effects and drug resistance.  ( Scott Olson | Getty Images ) Despite the adoption of new guidelines stipulating the short-term use of antibiotics for acute sinus infections, physicians in the United States are still overprescribing courses, which last for more than 10 days. After analyzing data from a sample representing 3.7 million sinusitis patients in 2016, researchers with the Centers for Disease Control found that 70 percent of the prescribed antibiotic treatment actually exceed safe medical standards.Such unsafe practice presents a danger to public health, as overusing these drugs eventually leads to resistance. Soon, sinus infections may grow immune to these medications, and even the most potent formulation will be rendered useless.Consequences Of Overusing Antibiotics For SinusitisIn fact, those infected with sinusitis are discouraged by the CDC from taking antibiotics as much as possible. In the first place, it's rarely caused by a bacteria. Most cases are often brought on by viruses or irritants from the environment."Any time antibiotics are used, they can cause side effects and lead to antibiotic resistance," says Katherine Fleming-Dutra, deputy director at the federal health agency's Office of Antibiotic Stewardship in Atlanta and lead author of the study.Common side effects of antibiotic treatment include rashes, nausea, diarrhea, and yeast infections. However, overdosing on this potent medication can potentially result in fatal reactions and infections, such as Clostridium difficile, which begins with colon damage then ultimately ends in death.CDC Recommendations For Acute Sinus InfectionsFor acute sinus infections, the CDC only recommends over-the-counter medication for symptomatic relief. This should be coupled with plenty of rest and liquids, as well as limiting or eliminating exposure to smoke and other air pollutants. If a patient is complaining of sinus pain and pressure, it can easily be relieved by applying a warm compress over the nose and forehead area. An oral decongestant or a saline nasal spray may also provide some comfort.Should quick relief be needed, just hop in the shower and let the hot water run while you're inside the bathroom. Breathe the steam in for a few minutes. Another option is to pour hot water into a bowl.Use Antibiotics Only For Chronic Sinusitis: CDCSinus patients whose symptoms have persisted or have progressed after more than 10 days are advised to see their physician to be prescribed appropriate medication. You may already be diagnosed with chronic sinusitis.Based on the study published March 26 in the journal JAMA Network, an acute sinus infection can be cured in as fast as five days using azithromycin. Be aware of the proper course duration and remind your physician in case you are prescribed too many antibiotic drugs.

[8] Devastating side effects prompt local push to ban antibiotic ( Fluoroquinolone Toxicity )
NBC Charlotte 6:09 a.m. EST February 25, 2015 http://www.wcnc.com/story/news/health/2015/02/24/devastating-side-effects-prompt-local-push-to-ban-antibiotic/23977183/ It is a commonly prescribed antibiotic-- doctors offer it for everything from urinary tract infections to sinus infections. But a local mom is pushing to get Levaquin off the shelves after she suffered devastating side effects. And a drug watchdog group is pushing the FDA for tougher warning labels. Shannon Myers is trying to slyly wrap his Valentine's day gift for wife Adrienne. The two are very much in love and very much a team– no matter what. "Every day you push through it, you push through it because you have to," Adrienne says. Adrienne endures grueling physical therapy several times a week; the 36-year-old mother of two struggles to walk. "It's very painful for me, just because my Achilles hurts really bad, so in order for me to not lose strength in my legs, I have to do this. I just have to bear the pain." It started last summer. Adrienne was diagnosed with a sinus infection; doctors prescribed Levaquin, the brand name for a drug called Levofloaxacin. A few days into the prescription she says, "I started having issues with my legs-- my legs hurt, they burn, felt like I walked up hill all day, my feet hurt, I had problems with my eyes, my vision started becoming kind of blurred." It took three months and four doctors to come up with a diagnosis. Dr. Ki Jung, Adrienne's neurologist, says the Levaquin caused tendinopathy and peripheral neuropathy. He says he helped rule other things out and worked on a timeline to figure out what happened. Jung says, "I told Adrienne, let's put a timeline to this and see where we are and then see if we can tease out any correlations; that's really where we were able to get to the notion that this was a Levaquin problem." "So basically the drug attacked her nerves and tendons?" "Correct, in terms of a side effect profile." Adrienne was shocked. "He said unfortunately you have nerve damage from taking Levaquin." Dr. Charles Bennett chairs a drug watchdog agency at the University of South Carolina. He was not at all surprised to hear Adrienne's story. "I'm not surprised. I've been working on this for years. This woman is a story that's replicated in city after city, case after case." He recently petitioned the FDA for new, what's called black box warnings for Levaquin, those are bold warnings meant to grab your attention. The FDA already required black box warnings in 2008, warning of possible tendon rupture and muscle weakness. And in 2013 the FDA required a label change warning of nerve damage. Bennett says the FDA's own stats show 1200 people have died and nearly 100,000 have suffered side effects from Levaquin or Levofloaxcin. "Thankfully it's not life threatening for me. I'm very fortunate that it has not been a life threatening thing for me, so I think about the positive and hopefully my nerves will regenerate themselves and become healthy again," Adrienne says. Her husband Shannon just wishes he could take away her pain. "It makes you wish, just like anybody you love, you could go back and do something about it. Like wish you had more time, researched more, maybe take it off her shoulders a little bit and put it on yours." NBC Charlotte reached out to Levaquin for a statement. They responded Tuesday evening: "LEVAQUIN® (levofloxacin) Tablets is part of an important class of anti-infective prescription medications that have been used for more than 20 years to treat infections, including those that may be serious or life threatening. When used according to the product labeling, LEVAQUIN® has been proven to have a favorable benefit-risk profile." The best advice: ask your doctor and your pharmacist to go over the possible side effects of this drug-- or any other for that matter, and if you have concerns, ask for an alternative.
7 Signs You Should Be Taking Probiotics – Saturday Strategy
7 Signs You Should Be Taking Probiotics – Saturday Strategy If you are like so many people, chances are you have taken an antibiotic in the last year. Did you know that antibiotics not only wipe out the bad guys, but the good guys too? Even if you took one 7 years ago - if you have not replenished the good guys within your gut, chances are really high that you are struggling with imbalance, maybe unknowingly. If you struggle with: Irregular mood Skin issues Erratic sleep patterns Crazy cravings for sugar and other unhealthy food Bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhea or cramping after meals Healthy weight management These are just some of the symptoms of an imbalanced gut. Which is why probiotics are so important to optimal health. They crowd out bad bacteria, preventing the bacteria’s ability to host in the body, which inhibits infection, inflammation and disease. What Is Levaquin Used For? Way too much.
https://www.TendonitisExpert.com/what-is-levaquin-used-for.html What is Levaquin used for? Way too many 'health issues' it shouldn't be. A doctor prescribing Levaquin for acne??? Really? Doctors that do that should have their licenses revoked. Levaquin is a highly powerful antibiotic with SIGNIFICANT side effects. If a bacterial illness is a life or death threat, then it's a risk that must be taken. But for acne? The risks are not worth the possible benefit. Muscle pain and dysfunction tendon damage, joint damage, organ damage, mental issues, these are all some of the possible and mild to severe side effects. Don't want your achilles tendon falling apart? Then you may want to seriously consider your decision to take Levaquin or not. (Also, make sure you have a bacterial infection before you let your doctor prescribe you this super powerful and dangerous antibiotic.)

[4] Dangerous side effect of popular antibiotic ( Fluoroquinolone Toxicity )
11:38 PM, Mar 26, 2015 WFTS TAMPA BAY A urinary tract infection sent Largo resident Nancy Garlow to a doctor last fall. He prescribed one of the popular antibiotics in a group known as fluoroquinolones. The pain hit on day five. Garlow claims she read the drug insert but only after severe side effects took over and she could barely walk. She said no one mentioned these pills carry a black box warning – the FDA's strongest – regarding "serious nerve damage" and debilitating pain. Seven months later, Galow says she remains too sick to return to work. In Sarasota, Dr. Susan Tannenbaum said she's spent the last 12 months putting her life back together. A bout of bronchitis led to a prescription for another popular fluoroquinolone, levofloxacin, whose brand name is Levaquin. By day seven she was unable to get out of bed. Dr. Tannenbaum describes being in the kind of pain that left her barely able to move and it lasted for months. Dr. Charles Bennett who heads up South Carolina's drug watchdog agency says he’s concerned about the number of people who’ve suffered devastating side effects. FDA documents show they've received 1,200 reported deaths related to Levaquin and its generic levofloxacin between 1997 and 2012. Dr. Bennett said only 1 percent of adverse effects are reported to the FDA. Last summer Dr. Bennett filed a petition with the FDA for stronger warnings about more of Levaquin's side effects, including those on the brain. The FDA upgraded its nerve damage warning in 2013 on all fluoroquinolones. Dr. Tennenbaum said she is proof it is not enough. We asked the FDA about the petition. They responded via email: "The FDA takes concerns raised about safety of approved drugs very seriously and we are considering the matters raised by the petition and giving it our careful attention." Johnson & Johnson, the makers of Levaquin, told us it monitors the safety of all of their medicines and incorporates new data into their labels so doctors and patients can make informed decisions. Here is the company’s statement in full. Statement from Janssen: At Janssen, our first priority is the well-being of the people who use our medicines. We are aware of the Citizen Petition and we are evaluating it. LEVAQUIN® (levofloxacin) is part of the important fluoroquinolone class of anti-infective prescription medications that have been used for more than 20 years to treat infections, including those that may be serious or life threatening. All medicines, including LEVAQUIN®, have both benefits and risks. We continually collect and monitor information on the safety and effectiveness of all our medicines, and, in cooperation with the US FDA and other health authorities, we incorporate new data into our product labels so doctors and patients can make informed decisions. Ever since it was first approved by the FDA in 1996, the LEVAQUIN® label has provided information to physicians on the risks and benefits associated with the medication, including warnings and precautions.

Probiotics and Gas
Probiotics. http://www.facelessfatloss.com Video was cut short due to battery failure. And, do not watch without a sense of humor (sound effects inserted ;-). TO CONTINUE, I was explaining how doctors recognized that antibiotics destroyed too much of our healthy intestinal flora while trying to destroy the bad bacteria, so probiotics were often given along with all antibiotic prescriptions. THIS is responsible medicine. Any doctor that does NOT tell you to take probiotics about six hours-plus after an antibiotic is, in my opinion, engaged in malpractice. It is VITAL that the healthy bacteria is replenished (and as most of you know, I do not encourage the use of prescription antibiotics unless used as a very last resort; there are PLENTY of not only safer alternative and natural anti-bacterials, but that are also MUCH more effective!). Gas can be caused by all sorts of things! Experiment with fiber; both supplementation OR reduction of. Dairy is a biggie for many people. Gluten-containing grains as another. And even certain vegetables in excess and when not mixed with other foods properly, for your body. Digestive enzymes often help a great deal, and the technologies we have now, compared to yesteryear's "Bean-o" (or whatever it was called) are far superior. A toxic colon is very often a culprit, which is why I am SO huge on safe and effective colon cleansing, and always will be. If your sewage system is not up to par, you can bet excessive gas will be a problem. Stress is of course also a huge contributor. Focus first on finding what in your diet may be the cause...Cause and effect observation. Too many people are still out-of-tune with the cause and effect nature of our bodies. If you put something into it, your body is going to react to it...we all recognize this with coffee and alcohol, but seem oblivious to it with almost every other food, having been conditioned to think all foods are fine for everyone except those with allergies. Not true! PLENTY of people have gluten sensitivities, as an example, and aren't even aware of it. Gluten is PROVEN to interfere with digestion in *almost everyone* in varying degrees. I reference "prebiotics" in passing, they are basically the "food" that the healthy bacteria feed upon. Often found in our soluble fibers. My fat loss program will no longer be available at its current price beyond January 31, 2010. That is what the date on my paper is referring to, that I did not have the time to explain before the battery ran out. Please see my site at http://www.facelessfatloss.com for more details.

But do you know why? Well, one major theory is that, like vampires, blood-sucking mosquitoes are afraid of garlic. You can rub garlic on your skin to ward off mosquitoes, if you like, but you can also leave out cloves of garlic in areas where mosquitoes flock. Splinters Many of garlic's astounding uses were forgotten in the folds of time but users (and believers) still vouch for the lesser-known benefits. One of them is against stubborn splinters. Place a piece of cut garlic over the splinter cut and cover with a bandage- and voila! Bye-bye splinter. Ear infections A common folk remedy for centuries, garlic can indeed kill the bacteria that cause ear infections. Of course, this doesn’t mean you should shove a clove of garlic into your ear and hope for the best. Crush a clove of garlic with a press and place it in a teaspoon of hot olive oil for five minutes. The Symptoms of an ill Mind - Sadhguru talks in a Darshan at Isha Yoga Center, 2014
Sadhguru looks at how an ill mind can create a poisonous chemical soup within the body. He explains how modern society sees disease as a normal fact of life, which is a serious mistake. But a human being is capable of creating a woderful "soup" and going through life blissfully. Sadhguru Talks @ Darshan, Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore, Mar 2014 ***************************** Full Transcript: Questioner: Sadhguru, Namaskaram. You mentioned in your previous discourses that thirty percent of the illnesses are body while the rest are mind-created. I just want to know in case you do get an illness, how do you know that it’s mind-created or it’s of the body? And in case it’s psychosomatic in nature, what would be the emotional and the thought pattern that’s behind it? How would you find that out and correct it if possible? Thank you. Sadhguru: You’re sounding like a disciple of Freud (Laughter). Only recently, in the last few years, there has been certain letters that Sigmund Freud wrote to certain people – it’s all come into public domain now. It’s unbelievable – a man who is seen as the father of modern psychoanalysis, the one… People have even credit him… credited him with the title, “He invented human mind” (Laughs). You should see the hollowness of the man – unbelievable! So don’t go like this – just a simple thing. Suppose right now your right hand gets up – do it. Let your right hand get up – not like that. And it acts funny, simply (Gestures). Do it, do it. No, that’s not funny. Do something more funny. And it beats you up (Laughter). Do you have an ailment or no? Suppose your right hand gets up and does funny things and smashes you, pokes your eyes (Gestures) (Laughter), do you have an ailment or no? Yes, isn’t it? For sure you have. That’s exactly what your mind is doing, isn’t it? It gets up, pops around, hurts you, pokes you, makes you cry, makes you (Laughs) suffer – do you have an ailment or no? Too many people are with you (Laughter) so you can form an army of sick people. When there’s an army in front of you, sick or otherwise, you don’t argue with them (Laughs). What’s the point? Especially if it’s a sick army, what is the point arguing with them? Just bow down to them and keep going. That’s what morse… most enlightened beings have done. They looked… They closed their eyes and things happened, then they looked… (Gestures) (Laughs). Some fools stand up to speak and it goes on endlessly. If… If your hand started pocking at you, hitting you, beating you up, definitely you are sick, isn’t it? Yes. So if your thoughts and emotions are poking you, str… strangling you and torturing you every day, aren’t you sick I’m asking? Hmm? By your own definition I’m going (Laughs). So because this sickness is on, it will manifest in so many ways in the physical body. There is no question anymore. Every thought, every reverberation on the level of the mind, depending upon the type of reverberation you create, the whole chemistry is going through a change. It’s all been measured. Right now you sit here and think about tigers, you have one kind of chemistry – chemical changes happen. You think about flowers, another kind of chemical change happens. All this has been measured. So for every thought, if the whole chemistry is going through thing – if your mind is in this state, you know what kind of soup you’re making? You’re a lousy soup (Laughs). Not just lousy, poisonous... Think Twice Before Using A Steroid Cream Or Pill Long Term!
Greetings. It's Eric Bakker, naturopath from New Zealand, author of Candida Crusher and formulator of Canxida, the Candida dietary supplements. Thanks for tuning into my video. I'm going to talk a bit about steroid use today and patients that I see with yeast infection. I've seen way too many people over the years who take different kinds of steroid preparations. Whether it be for asthma, they'll inhale a steroid. Whether it be for dermatitis or a skin condition, they'll put it on their hands or different parts of their body. Maybe they're taking prednisolone, a stronger one, for different kinds of diseases, autoimmune diseases, for example. I've seen no good outcomes with people on steroids, particularly long term. I get many cases of patients in. All the time, I see people who take these kinds of preparations. Whether it's creams or ointments or pills, sometimes for years on end. And then come to seek my advice regarding overcoming some kind of chronic illness, which they've developed over time. I had a patient recently yesterday who's been taking a steroid cream now probably for about 30 years with quite a bad urinary problem. And this poor guy has been to so many different practitioners to try and work out what's wrong with his urinary system. And there's no doubt about it, no family history on either side with this poor young guy. There are no real clear-cut causes or reasons why he should have this problem apart from using steroid cream for 30 years, a very powerful steroid he's been using. You can see what's happened. He's suppressed his adrenal gland. He's suppressed his ability to make cortisol properly. He's even showing some signs of Cushing's disease already, which is just too much steroid in the body. If you're watching this video and you're taking a preparation for say psoriasis or dermatitis and it involves a topical application of a steroid, maybe you're swallowing some prednisone tablets on a regular basis for some condition that you've got. Or perhaps you're inhaling steroids for asthma. The long-term consequences of these drugs can be devastating for your cardiovascular system, for your musculoskeletal system, for your immune system, it just doesn't make sense long term to take a hormone in that your body itself produces. You'll only end up in serious problems doing this. Just like you will be by continuing to borrow money all the time from banks. Eventually, you'll get to a point where you just can't pay the debt anymore. And that's what I see with people with long-term steroid use. To me some of the two worst drugs I've ever seen patients use repeatedly would have to be antibiotics and steroids. So if this rings a bell for you, stop and think about what you're doing. Go and see a health care practitioner and tell them that you're concerned about steroid use. Or maybe go and see someone like me or another health care professional who can guide you on how you can get off this stuff. Because what you're presenting with right now could very well be linked to the long-term use of that steroid that you're using right now. Thanks for tuning in.

You Shower Too Much!
How often do you shower or wash your body? Chances are, you probably bathe too much! Bathing every day strips the body and hair of natural oils, and it dries out the skin. Antibiotics and the Danger of Unnecessary Prescriptions
Dr Chris Steele MBE talks about the dangers of the over-prescribing of antibiotics. A leading NHS figure says that doctors should face disciplinary action for prescribing antibiotics unnecessarily. As antibiotic resistance becomes an increasingly significant threat, experts are eager to reduce the number of antibiotic prescriptions, but are worried that “soft-touch” doctors are giving them out too frequently. Mark Baker, director of clinical practice at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), warns that the waning power of antibiotics “threatens the whole basis of modern medicine.” As rising numbers of infections become resistant to drugs, bacterial and fungal diseases become increasingly difficult to treat. If the effectiveness of antibiotics continues to decrease, long-forgotten infections could kill again, and procedures such as surgery and chemotherapy could be jeopardised. When doctors prescribe antibiotics for minor problems, such as colds and sore throats, this only increases the risk of resistance. Yet too many GPs continue to do so, prompting new guidance from NICE. The latest guidelines call for more rigorous policing of antibiotic prescribing practice, with expert teams monitoring and comparing data from different hospitals and GP practices. They call for doctors to take into account the risk of antimicrobial resistance both for the patient and the wider population before issuing prescriptions, and also for them to take microbial samples from patients suspected of infections before signing a prescription. Many patients have serious misconceptions about antibiotics and drug-resistant bugs, and the guidelines emphasise how important it is for doctors to educate them and explain the risks. Baker says that many patients are used to the idea that antibiotics will solve their health problems and pressure their doctors into prescribing them. The guidelines encourage doctors to tell patients when antibiotics are inappropriate and refuse to write prescriptions. Baker believes that over-prescribing doctors who do not change their habits should be dealt with by the General Medical Council because of their “hazardous practice.” “We hope that by publishing these guidelines, it will become more difficult to prescribe antibiotics inappropriately,” he says. “Most doctors prescribe sensibly and competently. For the relatively small number who are less-disciplined, first we need to identify them, and secondly there needs to be processes to deal with them.” A Department of Health spokesperson says: “Tackling the overuse of antibiotics is a global issue that affects everyone – government, patients, doctors, dentists and vets treating animals – not just GPs. In order to make sure we have effective antibiotics for generations to come, we are raising global awareness of the dangers of resistance to antibiotics and providing tools for GPs to support prescribing decisions.”
