What does Cul de sac in ultrasound scan signify? - Dr. Teena S Thomas

02:07
Minimal fluid in the cul de sac means there is some fluid collection or reversal flow of the blood. It can be a normal finding or it can be a reversal of the blood flow in the periods or it can be collection of anything. Free fluid in the cul de sac seen in the scan when it is associated with any fever, chills, lower abdomen pain, or any discharge, or painful sex, deep penetrative pain, all these are associated with a condition called PID or pelvic inflammatory disease. Any doubt of pelvic inflammatory disease has to be diagnosed and treated, because if it is not treated, it can lead to future chronic pelvic pain, ectopic pregnancies, subfertilities, tubal block. Pelvic inflammatory disease has to be correctly diagnosed in time and treated in the basic level. When you have a full blown PID, with foul smelling discharge to treat. So a fluid in the cul de sac where there is no reason and associated with. Such symptoms have to be looked into as PID and treated appropriately. She has to be seen by a gynecologist especially in young girls. It can be normal. It can be a part of periods at times. So it has to be looked by a gynecologist and treatment required with antibiotics.
ß-Lactams: Mechanisms of Action and Resistance

07:23
Developed and produced by http://www.MechanismsinMedicine.com Animation Description: This animation starts with the explanation of bacterial cell wall synthesis, the process targeted by ß-Lactams. Structurally, most bacteria consist of a cell membrane surrounded by a cell wall and, for some bacteria, an additional outer layer. Internal to the cell membrane is the cytoplasm which contains ribosomes, a nuclear region and in some cases granules and/or vesicles. Depending on the bacterial species, a number of different external structures may be found such as a capsule, flagella and pili. In gram negative bacteria, the gap between the cell membrane and the cell wall is known as the periplasmic space. Most gram positive bacteria do not possess a periplasmic space but have only periplasm where metabolic digestion occurs and new cell peptidoglycan is attached. Peptidoglycan, the most important component of the cell wall, is a polymer made of N-acetyl muramic acid alternating with N-acetyl glucosamine which are cross-linked by chains of four amino acids. The function of the bacterial cell wall is to maintain the characteristic shape of the organism and to prevent the bacterium from bursting when fluid flows into the organism by osmosis. Synthesis of peptidoglycan and ultimately the bacterial cell wall occurs in a number of stages. One of the first stages is the addition of 5 amino acids to N-acetyl muramic acid. Next, N-acetyl glucosamine is added to the N-acetyl muramic acid to form a precursor of peptidoglycan. This peptidoglycan precursor is then transported across the cell membrane to a cell wall acceptor in the periplasm. Once in the periplasm, the peptidoglycan precursors bind to cell wall acceptors, and undergo extensive crosslinking. Two major enzymes are involved in crosslinking: transpeptidase and D-alanyl carboxypeptidase. These enzymes are also known as penicillin binding proteins because of their ability to bind penicillins and cephalosporins. Eventually, several layers of peptidoglycan are formed all of which are crosslinked to create the cell wall. Gram positive bacteria have many more layers than gram negative bacteria and thus have a much thicker cell wall. Beta-lactam antibiotics include all penicillins and cephalosporins that contain a chemical structure called a beta-lactam ring. This structure is capable of binding to the enzymes that cross-link peptidoglycans. Beta-lactams interfere with cross-linking by binding to transpeptidase and D-alanyl carboxypeptidase enzymes, thus preventing bacterial cell wall synthesis. By inhibiting cell wall synthesis, the bacterial cell is damaged. Gram positive bacteria have a high internal osmotic pressure. Without a normal, rigid cell wall, these cells burst when subjected to the low osmotic pressure of their surrounding environment. As well, the antibiotic-penicillin binding protein complex stimulates the release of autolysins that are capable of digesting the existing cell wall. Beta-lactam antibiotics are therefore considered bactericidal agents. Bacterial resistance to beta-lactam antibiotics may be acquired by several routes. One of the most important mechanisms is through a process known as transformation. During transformation, chromosomal genes are transferred from one bacterium to another. When a bacterium containing a resistance gene dies, naked DNA is released into the surrounding environment. If a bacterium of sufficient similarity to the dead one is in the vicinity, it will be able to uptake the naked DNA containing the resistance gene. Once inside the bacterium, the resistance gene may be transferred from the naked DNA to the chromosome of the host bacteria by a process known as homologous transformation. Over time, the bacterium may acquire enough of these resistance genes to result in a remodelling of the segment of the host DNA. If this remodelled DNA segment codes for cross-linking enzymes (i.e. penicillin binding proteins), the result is the production of altered penicillin binding proteins. These altered penicillin binding proteins can still cross-link the peptidoglycan layers of the cell wall but have a reduced affinity for beta-lactam antibiotics thus rendering the bacterium resistant to the effects of penicillin and other beta-lactam agents. This transfer process has resulted in penicillin-resistant S. pneumoniae through the acquisition of genes from other naturally occurring penicillin-resistant Streptococcus species. A second important mechanism by which bacteria become resistant to beta-lactam antibiotics is by the production of enzymes capable of inactivating or modifying the drug before it has a chance to exert its effect on the bacteria. 5 Vitamin Deficiencies That Show Up In Your Face | Vitamin Deficiency Symptoms - Remedies One Dowanload Daily Plans @ https://www.remediesone.com/ If you feel lousy and suspect a vitamin deficiency, your doctor will likely give you a blood test or some other kind of expensive screening. Today's video will discuss 5 Vitamin Deficiencies That Show Up in Your Face. But sometimes the best way to tell if you are lacking in an important nutrient is to look in the mirror. Experts say signs of deficiencies often show up in your face. Here are five common facial symptoms linked to vitamin deficiencies. 1) Pale Complexion, If you notice that you appear paler than normal, this could indicate a vitamin B12 deficiency. Check your tongue. It should be a little bumpy. If it is totally smooth, this is another sign of B12 deficiency. Lack of this vitamin can cause fatigue and poor memory, Vitamin B12 comes from animal sources only. That’s why vegetarians are at risk for a deficiency. Good sources are wild-caught fish, grass-fed meats, organic poultry, and pastured eggs. You can also take a supplement. A sensible dosage is 50 mcg a day. 2. Bad Hair, Dandruff, dry skin, brittle hair, and hair loss are all signs you are low in vitamin B7, or biotin. Taking antibiotics can disrupt intestinal bacteria that produce B7.7 Cauliflower, egg yolks, and mushrooms are good sources of this vitamin. But egg whites can actually interfere with your body’s absorption of B7. If you take a supplement, go for a daily dosage of 50 mcg. 3. Puffy Eyes,. Puffy eyes and bloated legs can be signs of an iodine deficiency. Other symptoms include weight gain, dry skin, and brittle nails. Your body uses iodine to produce thyroid hormones. Other than table salt, natural sources include saltwater fish, sea vegetables such as kelp, dulse, hijiki, and nori. Adults should get 150 mcg of iodine daily. Since this compound is extremely important to the development of a baby’s brain, pregnant women need 220 mcg. Breastfeeding mothers should get 290 mcg. 4. Pale Lips, Check the inside of your lips, your gums, and the inside of the bottom of your eyelids. If they are pale you could be suffering from low iron. This is the most common nutritional deficiency in America. Women are more likely to have low levels than men. It causes strange cravings. They may feel like eating dirt, clay, or ice. This is the body’s way of trying to ingest iron. 7 Surprising Things That Can Kick You Out of Ketosis

Survey Question: https://www.drberg.com/video-idea-survey/biggest-health-issue Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis Download Keto Essentials https://m.me/drericberg?ref=w2128577 Dr. Berg talks about the 7 Surprising things that can kick you out of ketosis: 1. Stress 2. Excessive caffeine 3. Bone broth and whey protein (and even L-Glutamine 4. MSG (monosodium glutamate) hidden in lots of foods – sauces 5. Artificial sweeteners (aspartame, saccharine) 6. Excess protein 7. Keto-friendly deserts (excessive xylitol) Hey guys, I want to create an important video on this 7 surprising things that can kick you out of ketosis. You may know the typical things like sugar and refined carbohydrates but these are the things that you may not know that are important. Stress can kick you out of ketosis because stress activates a hormone called cortisol. Cortisol is the main adrenal hormone that adapts the body to stress. So any type of stress, shock to the system, surgery, trauma, allergies and even the loss of the love ones can activate stress, stress in your job or relationship stress could actually knock you out of ketosis. Next one is the excessive caffeine, one cup of coffee is not going to do anything but if you are doing coffee or tea all day long with caffeine too much of that can activate adrenaline which can then activate insulin. Bone broth in large quantities, a little bit of bone broth is not going to be an issue, I’m talking about protein. Protein can bump you out. I am not too concerned about bone broth, even when you are fasting it may knock you out a little bit but it is a very small amounts. Whey proteins is one of the top proteins, because it is a low fat and is a high protein that will stimulate insulin and knock you out with ketosis. L-Glutamine, people take that for their digestive system and they can get irritable bowel syndrome, it is a protein and can knock you out in ketosis. I am not concerned about you taking that because it really helps you in a certain ways, it is not going to put weight on but the only reason that I’m bringing it up is if you test yourself and all of the sudden it knocks you out, don’t be concerned if that’s what doing it, it is a temporary thing but it will knock you out. And then we have MSG, Monosodium glutamate another name for that is modified food starch. It is in so many foods, it is easy to avoid if you are shopping but it is very hard to avoid if you are going out to restaurants because they have it in the sauces, dressings, in some of the flavor enhancers, any food that just taste too good typically has MSG on it especially if it is a fast-food restaurant. The next one, artificial sweeteners Aspartame, Splenda - that has actual dextrin, saccharine and Maltodextrin. What is LEUKOPENIA? What does LEUKOPENIA mean? LEUKOPENIA meaning, definition & explanation

What is LEUKOPENIA? What does LEUKOPENIA mean? LEUKOPENIA meaning - LEUKOPENIA pronunciation - LEUKOPENIA definition - LEUKOPENIA explanation - How to pronounce LEUKOPENIA? SUBSCRIBE to our Google Earth flights channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6UuCPh7GrXznZi0Hz2YQnQ Leukopenia is a decrease in the number of white blood cells (leukocytes) found in the blood, which places individuals at increased risk of infection. Neutropenia, a subtype of leukopenia, refers to a decrease in the number of circulating neutrophil granulocytes, the most abundant white blood cells. The terms leukopenia and neutropenia may occasionally be used interchangeably, as the neutrophil count is the most important indicator of infection risk. This should not be confused with agranulocytosis. Low white cell count may be due to acute viral infections, such as a cold or influenza. It has been associated with chemotherapy, radiation therapy, myelofibrosis, aplastic anemia (failure of white cell, red cell and platelet production), stem cell transplant, bone marrow transplant, HIV, AIDS, and steroid use. Other causes of low white blood cell count include systemic lupus erythematosus, Hodgkin's lymphoma, some types of cancer, typhoid, malaria, tuberculosis, dengue, rickettsial infections, enlargement of the spleen, folate deficiencies, psittacosis, sepsis, Sjögren's syndrome and Lyme disease. It has also been shown to be caused by deficiency in certain minerals, such as copper and zinc. Pseudoleukopenia can develop upon the onset of infection. The leukocytes (predominately neutrophils, responding to injury first) start migrating toward the site of infection, where they can be scanned. Their migration causes bone marrow to produce more WBCs to combat infection as well as to restore the leukocytes in circulation, but as the blood sample is taken upon the onset of infection, it contains low amount of WBCs, which is why it is termed "pseudoleukopenia". Certain medications can alter the number and function of white blood cells. Medications that can cause leukopenia include clozapine, an antipsychotic medication with a rare adverse effect leading to the total absence of all granulocytes (neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils). The antidepressant and smoking addiction treatment drug bupropion HCl (Wellbutrin) can also cause leukopenia with long-term use. Minocycline, a commonly prescribed antibiotic, is another drug known to cause leukopenia. There are also reports of leukopenia caused by divalproex sodium or valproic acid (Depakote), a drug used for epilepsy (seizures), mania (with bipolar disorder) and migraine. The anticonvulsant drug, lamotrigine, has been associated with a decrease in white blood cell count. The FDA monograph for metronidazole states that this medication can also cause leukopenia, and the prescriber information suggests a complete blood count, including differential cell count, before and after, in particular, high-dose therapy. Immunosuppressive drugs, such as sirolimus, mycophenolate mofetil, tacrolimus, ciclosporin, leflunomide and TNF inhibitors, have leukopenia as a known complication. Interferons used to treat multiple sclerosis, such as interferon beta-1a and interferon beta-1b, can also cause leukopenia. Chemotherapy targets cells that grow rapidly, such as tumors, but can also affect white blood cells, because they are characterized by bone marrow as rapid growing. A common side effect of cancer treatment is neutropenia, the lowering of neutrophils (a specific type of white blood cell). Decreased white blood cell count may be present in cases of arsenic toxicity.

10 Natural Cure For Chlamydia

05:51
10 Natural Cure For Chlamydia. Chlamydia is an infection, a type of sexually transmitted disease, which can happen in both males and females. The typical symptoms of Chlamydia are abnormal vaginal discharge, pain during sexual intercourse, itching, abnormal incidences of bleeding in women etc. In many people these symptoms go unnoticed as well. If not treated for a long time the symptoms augments causing increased discomfort, and they spread to other areas in body as well. It might also cause other disorders with the reproductive system. The usual treatment method includes use of antibiotics depending on the organism which is responsible for causing the infection. Also, it is advised that people suffering from Chlamydia should avoid engaging in sexual intercourse till the time they are completely cured and get rid of the disease causing bacteria. Now we have a general idea about the disease; let us have a look at the different natural treatments for chlamydia infections. These treatments aim either at improving the immunity or eliminating the organism causing the infection locally. Here Are 10 Natural Cure For Chlamydia: 1. Garlic. Garlic is anti-bacterial in nature and therefore, it reduces the chlamydia infection. You can either chew 2-3 cloves every morning; if you cannot tolerate the taste even swallowing the cloves with water will help. You will even find dried garlic or garlic powder in normal general stores. Even these products can be consumed for relief. 2. Eating Curd Or Probiotics. Any ingredient that improves your overall immunity will make your body strong enough to fight the infection. This will reduce the duration of infection and help in quick recovery. Curd (yogurt) and other probiotic foods improve the body’s immune system and keep it resistant against chlamydia infections. 3. Olive Oil. Olive oil when instilled in the vaginal cavity or massaged on to the male reproductive organ; helps in reducing Chlamydia. 4. Turmeric. Turmeric is an excellent anti-bacterial and anti-infective agent. It is been used since ages for curing wounds, infections etc. It is equally effective for chlamydia and sexually transmitted diseases. You can either apply turmeric in the vaginal cavity or male organ by mixing it in warm oil; or it can be simply consumed daily with food. You can also have turmeric with hot milk daily. 5. Foods Rich In Vitamin C/ Antioxidant Rich Food. Vitamin C rich foods are rich in vitamin and antioxidants which improve immunity and reduce the Chlamydia infection. These include fruits like orange, lemons, sweet-lime, amla etc. 6. Reduce Intake Of Sugary Foods And Red Meat. Food items that are high in sugar content act as a catalyst for chlamydia infections. Also some foods like red meat, processed flour, refined and processed foods, junk foods etc. will make the infection even more severe. Therefore it is best to avoid the consumption of such foods and accept healthy food practices in day-to-day life. 7. Avoid Smoking And Drinking. Smoking or regular consumption of high quantity of alcohol makes the existing infection even more extreme and also increases its symptoms. It also alters the activity of supportive medicinal treatments. Hence it is advised that such practices must be avoided. 8. Diets Rich In Alkaline Foods. Foods which are rich in alkaline contents act by reducing the blood and vaginal pH levels. Low pH levels help the bacteria to grow fast and thrive. Therefore an alkaline pH is beneficial for chlamydia infection. These foods include whole grains, beans, leafy vegetables, almonds, cinnamon, ginger, mustard, rock salt etc. 9. Green Leafy Vegetables And Fruits. Leafy vegetables and fresh fruits are rich in fibre content, vitamins, phyto-nutrients etc. which improve the body’s overall immunity levels. Eating a well balanced diet regularly which includes all the essential nutrients and micro nutrients in required amounts maintains the immunity levels. This will do both; prevent infections and helps in quick recovery. 10. Herbs. Plenty of herbs that are anti-bacterial in nature can be used. These includes berbeine, neem leaves, goldenseal, sage leaves etc. For more information about the herbs you can consult an ayurvedic store or an ayurved expert. 8 Cause A Foul Smell In The Female Genitalia

03:40
Women worry a lot about vaginal cleanliness, but still there comes a time when the place down there smells like onion. The natural smell in that place signifies normal heath whereas fishy smell could indicate that there is something wrong with it. Sometimes, it could be about cleanliness but sometimes, it isn't about hygiene. It could be various other factors like food, bacteria, secretions etc. Douching or using essential oils to clean the area could also cause the smell. If pain accompanies foul smell then it could indicate a serious issue which may require the attention of your gynecologist. 1. Food Sometimes, the smell down there could be due to certain foods you have consumed. Onions could cause foul smell down there. Some odour-producing items are garlic, onion and other spicy curries. 2. Bacterial Vaginosis If the normal levels of bacteria in private areas get disturbed, it could cause overgrowth. In such a case, a fishy odour and grey discharge could also follow. 3. Sweat Sweat could be one reason behind the odour. Vaginal fluid combined with sweat could emit a peculiar kind of foul odour. Soon after you get back from the gym, change your clothes and wear something that allows your privates to breathe. 4. Tampons If you leave a tampon inside for too long, it could cause a fishy smell; but once you remove the tampon, the smell will be gone. But leaving tampons could result in infections. 5. Hormonal Changes Contraceptives, creams, menstrual cycles or anything that alters pH levels of the privates may cause smell. In some women who reach menopause, a dip in the estrogen levels could be the reason. 6. Lovemaking In some women, the smell could occur after making love as semen could alter the smell down there. 7. Trichomoniasis This is a parasite infection and could be transmitted through body contact. Symptoms include smelly discharge, pain during penetration/urination and irritation or itchy sensation. 8. Medications When you overuse antibiotics, the bacteria down there may get disturbed and this could cause odour. Also, some medications could dry out the place and alter the smell. How to Increase Your White Blood Cell Count

13:54
How to Increase Your White Blood Cell Count https://youtu.be/VYSzInSIoSQ Produced in the bone marrow, white blood cells (WBCs) are the disease-fighting agents of your immune system. A healthy body has an abundance of WBCs that travel to the affected organs whenever an infection strikes. The normal range of WBCs in the blood is between 4,500 and 10,000 per microliter. When the WBC count drops below 4,500, it is a cause for concern. This condition is called leukopenia. Another condition called neutropenia is a type of leukopenia and is characterized by a deficiency of neutrophil granulocytes, a specific type of white blood cells that are the most abundant in the body. Some common causes of leukopenia include acute viral infections such as a cold and influenza, copper and zinc deficiency, typhoid, dengue, malaria, tuberculosis and Lyme disease. Other causes include aplastic anemia; cancers such as bone cancer, which damages the bone marrow, and lymphoma, which is a cancer that begins in the WBCs; chemotherapy and radiation therapy, which disrupt bone marrow activity; and autoimmune diseases like lupus. Lack of adequate WBCs weakens your immune system, making you more susceptible to disease-causing bacteria and viruses. If the deficiency is not treated, these diseases will strengthen over time, rendering your body unable to fight the diseases at all. Here are top 10 ways to help increase the white blood cell count in your body. 1. Cat’s Claw (Uncaria tomentosa): Cat’s claw is a South American vine found in the rainforests in the Amazon that possesses incredible immune-boosting properties. 2. Astragalus: Also known as “huang qi” or “huang chi”, astragalus is a Chinese herb derived from the astragalus membranaceus plant. It possesses terrific WBC-promoting properties. 3. Echinacea: Echinacea is a well-researched, immune-boosting Native American herb. Unlike vaccines that target a specific disease and antibiotics that directly attack bacteria, echinacea stimulates the activity of the WBCs that fight diseases through a process called phagocytosis. 4. Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Dietary omega-3 fatty acids increase the body’s production of phagocytes, a type of WBCs that engulf harmful foreign entities like bacteria entering our bodies through a process called phagocytosis. 5. Vitamins B6, B12 and Folic Acid (Folate): Vitamins B6 and B12 as well as folic acid are all responsible for producing WBCs in the body. 6. Copper: Healthy adults have between 50 and 80 milligrams of copper in their blood. A copper deficiency leads to a number of disorders, including leukopenia.diagnosed with leukopenia must be tested for copper deficiency, as it is often a leading cause of the condition. 7. Zinc: It is no secret that zinc is a solid immune-booster. Because there were few studies on the correlation between zinc deficiency and reduction of WBCs, a rat study was conducted in 2009 and published in the Journal of Nutritional Science and Vitaminology. 8. Regulated Exercise: Exercise significantly boosts immunity. It promotes blood circulation, including WBCs, to various parts of the body. 9. Yoga’s Cobra Pose: While all forms of yoga improve circulation and promote the body’s production of WBCs, the Cobra Pose (bhujangasana) in particular activates the thymus gland located behind the breastbone. The thymus gland produces disease-fighting T-cells. 10. Good Hygiene: If you have a low WBC count, it is imperative to practice good hygiene. This is a necessary to boost your immune system. Iron Deficiency Anemia Treatment, Nursing, Pathophysiology, Symptoms w/ Nursing Interventions

12:52
Iron-deficiency anemia treatment, nursing interventions, pathophysiology, and symptoms NCLEX review lecture. Iron deficiency anemia is a type of anemia caused by low iron levels in the body. Anemia is a condition where there is a low amount of red blood cells or hemoglobin in the body. Red blood cells and hemoglobin are responsible for the transport of oxygen throughout the body to the tissues and organs. Iron is responsible for making hemoglobin. When iron levels are low in the body red blood cells and hemoglobin do not work properly which leads the patient to feel symptoms of lethargy, pallor, tachycardia, weird food cravings (ice, clay, dirt), inflammation of the tongue (glossitis), nail changes such as koilonychia (spoon-shape of the nails) etc. Treatment for iron-deficiency anemia includes iron supplementation, increasing iron in the diet with foods rich in iron (such as egg yolks, red meats, poultry, shellfish, fish, legumes, seeds etc), and prevention. The causes of iron-deficiency anemia include poor intake of iron (as with pregnancy, vegetarian diet, or malnourishment), blood loss (GI bleed, menstruation), or absorption issues (as with Celiac disease, GI surgery etc). It is diagnosed with complete blood count (CBC), iron level, or blood smear to assess the RBC which may appear hypochromic (pale) and microcytic (small). Kidney infection Treatment at Home: In this video, we have explained the complete guide how to diagnose kidney infection, kidney infection treatment at home, kidney infection cure naturally. Subscribe to our channel for more videos. Watch: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTAC8nJWyu8) How to Diagnose and Treat a Kidney Infection Kidney infection or pyelonephritis is a form of urinary tract infection that commonly originates from the urethra or the bladder and moves up into the kidneys. Cases of kidney infection usually require immediate medical attention as negligence may either damage the kidneys permanently or allow the microorganism which causes the infection to travel into the bloodstream, leading to a more serious type of infection. Kidney infection is generally managed through the use of antibiotics and home care methods, but in severe cases, it may require hospitalization. Recognizing the Symptoms of a Kidney Infection -Look for fever and chills. When the body’s immune system senses foreign bodies, substances that cause fever (pyrogens) are released and travel to the hypothalamus (part of the brain which regulates body temperature). -Watch out for a loss of appetite. Infection can alter the normal eating habits of a person. -Identify any sense of fatigue. The muscles become inflamed whenever an infection is present; as the body secretes inflammatory chemicals as a reaction to infection. -Be on the lookout for back or flank pain. The kidneys are located at the back of the abdomen. -Watch out for signs of confusion. The kidneys remove waste products from the blood. -Look for any sign of blood in the urine. The presence of blood in the urine may be associated with infections that can damage the kidneys and their surrounding structures. -Keep an eye out for cloudy or foul-smelling urine. Upon urination, the microorganisms that cause infection may be excreted. These make the urine cloudy and foul-smelling. -Take note of any pain when urinating. A sharp, dull or excruciating pain may be felt when urinating. -Do a urinalysis. This procedure is done to determine the presence of infection. A urine sample is collected and is submitted to a laboratory for analysis. Treating Kidney Infection Using Natural Remedies -Drink aloe vera juice. Leptin, which is a substance in aloe vera, stimulates the production of macrophages – the cells responsible for fighting foreign bodies by ingesting them. -Eat more garlic. Garlic is known as a natural antibiotic. The active ingredient in garlic called allicin has the ability to stimulate the body’s immune system by stimulating the activity of a type of white blood cell called macrophages which engulf foreign body that causes kidney infections. -Make peppermint tea. Peppermint tea which is brewed from the plant's leaves contains phenolic constituents. -Take carctol. Carctol is a mixture of 8 Indian herbs that includes, Hemidesmusindicus, Tribulusterrestris, Piper cubeba, Ammanivesicatoria, Lepidiumsativum, Blepharisedulis, Smilax china and Rheum emodi. -Include turmeric in your diet. Turmeric contains a powerful antioxidant called curcumin, which inhibits the growth of bacteria and keeps them from binding to the host cells. Childhood trauma isn’t something you just get over as you grow up. Pediatrician Nadine Burke Harris explains that the repeated stress of abuse, neglect and parents struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues has real, tangible effects on the development of the brain. This unfolds across a lifetime, to the point where those who’ve experienced high levels of trauma are at triple the risk for heart disease and lung cancer. An impassioned plea for pediatric medicine to confront the prevention and treatment of trauma, head-on. #FOTD211 Tiny Robots Deliver Antibiotics

01:53
Tiny robots deliver antibiotics Joseph Wang at the University of California and his team have used tiny robots to tackle bacterial infections in the stomachs of mice. One of the problems with antibiotics is that they can be destroyed by the acid conditions inside the stomach before they are able to kill bacteria. Some patients with stomach ulcers take a medication that has a proton pump inhibitor which reduces the production of stomach acid, these have various side effects including anxiety, headaches, and diarrhoea. The robots that are used contain micro motors which deliver a dose of antibiotics to the stomach ulcers in mice. They are found to be more effective than regular antibiotic tablets.   The robots are the size of a human hair and they deliver a dose of antibiotics every day for 5 days. The robot is made up of a core of magnesium coated with many layers to enable it to survive and deliver treatments as each layer breaks down. When they are in the stomach they micro motors use free protons found in the stomach acid to produce a jet of hydrogen bubbles that propel them around the stomach acid temporarily altering its acidity. As it becomes less acidic the antibiotics are more effective and the movement helps the antibiotics to get to the stomach lining where most of the bacteria are found The micromotors dissolve then 24hrs later the stomach acid returns to normal levels. Birds loose motion or diarrhea, and its treatment Video No. 12

06:22
Diarrhea is an increase in frequency and liquid content of the fecal component of the droppings. In birds, the droppings are composed of three elements: feces, urates and urine. The droppings are stored in the cloaca, the common emptying chamber for the gastrointestinal, urinary and reproductive tracts. Feces are produced in the intestinal tract, and are normally green or brown in color. Urine and urates are produced in the kidneys. Usually, birds only produce a very small volume of liquid urine, and the majority of the waste from the kidneys is in the form of semi-solid, white/beige urates. Occasionally, a larger volume of urine is produced (polyuria), which is often mistaken for diarrhea. Birds that are polyuric have a more liquid dropping, but the fecal component remains solid and formed. Birds with diarrhea have a more liquid consistency to the fecal component. General Causes Bacterial infections Fungal infections Viral infections Dietary changes Toxins Foreign bodies lodged in the intestinal tract Your veterinarian will recommend specific diagnostic tests depending on how severe the diarrhea is, how long the bird has had diarrhea, and if other symptoms are present. Birds that are showing other symptoms, such as vomiting, anorexia or lethargy may require extensive diagnostic testing. If your bird occasionally has a few droppings with a liquid or loosely formed fecal component and has no other symptoms, it may be normal. If, however, the diarrhea is persistent (lasts more than a day), recurrent (returns frequently) or other symptoms occur, medical attention is needed. What to Watch For Lethargy Ruffled feathers Tucking the head under the wing Loss of appetite Vomiting or regurgitation Blood in the stool, which appears as dark, green-black tarry stool Lack of feces in the dropping Diagnosis Your veterinarian will recommend specific diagnostic tests depending on the severity of the diarrhea, or if other symptoms are present. A complete history is extremely helpful in reaching a diagnosis. Be prepared to tell your veterinarian when the diarrhea began, the consistency of the diarrhea, and if it contains blood. Additionally, tell your veterinarian the type of diet your bird is on, describe his chewing habits and note any potential exposure to other birds. Diagnostic testing your veterinarian may perform include: A thorough physical examination A complete blood count (CBC) and serum biochemistry panel Sampling the crop and/or feces for bacterial culture and cytology Radiography (X-Rays) to look for evidence of intestinal disease Endoscopy to view the intestinal tract or body cavity Treatment Treatment for diarrhea may include any combination of: Hospitalization for fluids and injectable medications Antibiotics or antifungal medications Surgery or endoscopy to relieve intestinal obstructions Medications to protect the intestinal tract or alter the motility of the intestinal tract Home Care If only one or two of the droppings appears to be diarrhea and your bird has no other symptoms, return him to his usual diet, without fruits and vegetables, for 24 hours. Be sure that plenty of fresh water is available, and that the bird is drinking. Use only paper (no litter of any type) on the cage bottom, and change the paper daily so that you can monitor the droppings. If droppings do not return to normal within 24 hours, diarrhea worsens, or any other symptoms develop, contact your veterinarian. If your bird was treated for diarrhea, make sure to give all medication as directed, for as long as directed, even after the symptoms appear to be gone. Watch for a change in the droppings, and report any changes to your veterinarian. If improvement is not seen, the discharge is worsening or the bird develops other symptoms, alert your veterinarian immediately. What is DIABETIC KETOACIDOSIS? What does DIABETIC KETOACIDOSIS mean? DIABETIC KETOACIDOSIS meaning - DIABETIC KETOACIDOSIS definition - DIABETIC KETOACIDOSIS explanation. SUBSCRIBE to our Google Earth flights channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6UuCPh7GrXznZi0Hz2YQnQ Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) is a potentially life-threatening complication of diabetes mellitus. Signs and symptoms may include vomiting, abdominal pain, deep gasping breathing, increased urination, weakness, confusion, and occasionally loss of consciousness. A person's breath may develop a specific smell. Onset of symptoms is usually rapid. In some cases people may not realize they previously had diabetes. DKA happens most often in those with type 1 diabetes, but can also occur in those with other types of diabetes under certain circumstances. Triggers may include infection, not taking insulin correctly, stroke, and certain medications such as steroids. DKA results from a shortage of insulin; in response the body switches to burning fatty acids which produces acidic ketone bodies. DKA is typically diagnosed when testing finds high blood sugar, low blood pH, and ketoacids in either the blood or urine. The primary treatment of DKA is with intravenous fluids and insulin. Depending on the severity, insulin may be given intravenously or by injection under the skin. Usually potassium is also needed to prevent the development of low blood potassium. Throughout treatment blood sugar and potassium levels should be regularly checked. Antibiotics may be required in those with an underlying infection. In those with severely low blood pH, sodium bicarbonate may be given; however, its use is of unclear benefit and typically not recommended. Rates of DKA vary around the world. About 4% of people with type 1 diabetes in United Kingdom develop DKA a year, while in Malaysia the condition affects about 25% a year. DKA was first described in 1886 and, until the introduction of insulin therapy in the 1920s, it was almost universally fatal. The risk of death with adequate and timely treatment is currently around 1–4%. Up to 1% of children with DKA develop a complication known as cerebral edema. The symptoms of an episode of diabetic ketoacidosis usually evolve over a period of about 24 hours. Predominant symptoms are nausea and vomiting, pronounced thirst, excessive urine production and abdominal pain that may be severe. Those who measure their glucose levels themselves may notice hyperglycemia (high blood sugar levels). In severe DKA, breathing becomes labored and of a deep, gasping character (a state referred to as "Kussmaul respiration"). The abdomen may be tender to the point that an acute abdomen may be suspected, such as acute pancreatitis, appendicitis or gastrointestinal perforation. Coffee ground vomiting (vomiting of altered blood) occurs in a minority of people; this tends to originate from erosion of the esophagus. In severe DKA, there may be confusion, lethargy, stupor or even coma (a marked decrease in the level of consciousness). On physical examination there is usually clinical evidence of dehydration, such as a dry mouth and decreased skin turgor. If the dehydration is profound enough to cause a decrease in the circulating blood volume, tachycardia (a fast heart rate) and low blood pressure may be observed. Often, a "ketotic" odor is present, which is often described as "fruity", often compared to the smell of pear drops whose scent is a ketone. If Kussmaul respiration is present, this is reflected in an increased respiratory rate.....

इस जगह 5 बार दबाओ और देखो जादू | Acupressure Points and Yoga Mudras That Can Change Your Life

09:23
Acupressure is an alternative medicine technique similar in principle to acupuncture. It is based on the concept of life energy which flows through "meridians" in the body. In treatment, physical pressure is applied to acupuncture points with the aim of clearing blockages in these meridians. Pressure may be applied by hand, by elbow, or with various devices. Some medical studies have suggested that acupressure may be effective at helping manage nausea and vomiting, for helping lower back pain, tension headaches, stomach ache, among other things, although such studies have been found to have a high likelihood of bias A variant system known as two point acupressure attempts to bypass a blockage of vital flow by using one acupoint to create a link with one of the collateral meridians, and then using one additional acupoint to stimulate or reduce the flow around the obstruction. The flow of Prana in our body is also increased. In Hindu philosophy including yoga, Indian medicine, and martial arts, prana (the Sanskrit word for "life force" or "vital principle") is all cosmic energy, permeating the Universe on all levels. Prana is often referred to as the "life force" or "life energy". It also includes energies present in inanimate objects. In literature, prana is sometimes described as originating from the Sun and connecting the elements of the Universe. This life energy has been vividly invoked and described in the ancient Vedas and Upanishads. In living beings, this universal energy is considered responsible for all bodily functions through five types of prana, collectively known as the five vayus. Ayurveda, tantra and Tibetan medicine all describe pra?a vayu as the basic vayu from which all the other vayus arise. Indologist Georg Feuerstein explains "The Chinese call it chi, the Polynesians mana, the Amerindians orenda, and the ancient Germans od. It is an all-pervasive 'organic' energy." Yoga mudras are symbolic gestures often practiced with the hands and fingers. They facilitate the flow of energy in the subtle body and enhance one's journey within. You can call it a part of Yoga. These energies also effect your subconscious mind. Your subconscious mind is literally drived by these energies. The power of affirmations increase when your energies are cleared. HOW To PREVENT CANCER? TOP 7 Causes of CANCER to Avoid & Smart Alternatives for PREVENTION & HEALING

13:01
Top 10 Cancer Causing Foods: Understanding what Causes Cancer! CANCER PREVENTION and Smart Alternatives Ways for CURING & HEALING. HOW To PREVENT CANCER Daily? Top 10 Cancer Causing Foods to Cut Your Cancer Risk in Half Genetically Modified Foods (GMOs): The rapidly growing industry of genetically modified crops are infiltrating our food supply at an alarming rate. More than 90% of our corn and soy are now genetically modified. This fairly new practice is the source of many debates. Experts agree that adequate testing was not done before GMO foods were added to the ingredient listing of thousands of products. In other words, no one – including the growers and manufacturers of GMO foods – knows the long-term effect they will have on human health. Look for GMO-free labels whenever possible or buy organic (which always means a product is not genetically modified). Microwave Popcorn: From the chemically-lined bag to the actual contents, microwave popcorn is at the center of lung cancer debates around the world. Not only are the kernels and oil likely GMO (which the manufacturer does not have to disclose) unless organic, the fumes released from artificial butter flavoring contain diacetyl, which is toxic to humans. Make your own organic popcorn the old-fashioned way – it tastes better, doesn’t release toxic fumes, and is a healthier choice for you. Canned Goods: Most cans are lined with a product called bisphenol-A (BPA), which has been shown to genetically alter the brain cells of rats. Many plastic goods, thermal paper, water lines, and many dental composites also contain BPA. Help protect your DNA by sticking to fresh or frozen vegetables that have no added ingredients for your family’s table! These are better for you and available year-round. Grilled Red Meat: While grilled food can taste delicious, scientists have discovered that preparing meats in this way – especially processed meats like hot dogs – releases a carcinogen called heterocyclic aromatic amines. When you grill red meat to the point of well-done, it changes the chemical and molecular structure of the meat. You’re better off baking, broiling, or preparing meat in a skillet than on the grill. Refined Sugar: The biggest cancer causing food (by far) is high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and other refined sugars. Even brown sugar is highly refined white sugar with some of the removed molasses added back in for flavor and color. Refined sugars (and foods made with them) are the source of major insulin spikes and feed the growth of cancer cells. Since the majority of the sugar supply in the U.S. is made using genetically modified (GMO) sugar beets, a healthier option is organic honey, coconut sugar, or maple sugar. Now that oncologists are using diabetes medication to fight cancer cells, there’s no doubt (finally) that those mutated cancer cells love sugar. Salted, Pickled, and Smoked Foods: These products typically contain preservatives, such as nitrates, which are intended to prolong shelf life. The additives used in processed foods can accumulate in your body over time. Eventually, such toxins cause damage at the cellular level and lead to diseases like cancer. When smoked foods are cooked at high temperatures, the nitrates are converted to the much more dangerous nitrites. (Note: By pickled foods we don’t mean the fermented foods you make at home.) Soda and Carbonated Beverages: Sodas have been at the center of the health debate for two decades as a major cancer causing food. Filled with high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), dyes, and a host of other chemicals, they are very bad for every aspect of your health. They provide zero nutritional value and rob your body of the nutrients you get from other foods. Adding “diet” to the label means you’re also likely consuming aspartame – which is no better than rat poison to human cells. White Flour: When flour is refined, all nutritional value is removed. Then it’s bleached with chlorine gas to make it more appealing to consumers. The glycemic index for white flour is very high – meaning it spikes your insulin levels without providing nutritional fuel. Carbohydrates are converted to sugars by your body, so excessive products that contain white flour can lead to increased insulin resistance. Simple sugars (like refined carbohydrates) are the preferred fuel source for cancer. Farmed Fish: Commercial fish farming involves raising an incredible number of fish (such as salmon), in a crowded environment. More than 60% of the salmon consumed in the United States comes from a farming operation where they are treated with antibiotics, pesticides, and other carcinogenic chemicals to try and control the bacterial, viral, and parasitic outbreaks that result from cramming so many fish in a small space. Farmed fish also don’t have as much omega-3 as wild salmon. Hydrogenated Oils: Vegetable oils are chemically extracted from their source, chemically treated, and more chemicals are added to change the smell and taste.

How to IMPROVE LIVER FUNCTION 6 Steps to Improve Liver Function Naturally

17:06
How to IMPROVE LIVER FUNCTION 6 Steps to Improve Liver Function Naturally . What Does the Liver Do? It’s the liver that recognizes toxic substances and converts them into harmless material that can be released. For our blood to flow smoothly and cleanly, we need to create a warming and nourishing environment in the body that helps the liver do its job best. An adult human liver weighs in just over three pounds and sits in the upper right side of the abdomen, underneath the rib cage where it’s connected to the gallbladder. The gallbladder is where bile is stored, which is also important for digestion. Within the liver, there’s a specific type of tissue that is made of lobules, which transport blood and cells. The liver is always communicating with other digestive organs, receiving information about the level of available nutrients or the presence of threats like prescription medications, heavy metals or toxic substances. (3) One of the most important roles any of our organs could have, the liver is primarily in charge of regulating our blood supply. It’s involved in storing blood, making blood clotting possible and breaking down damaged blood cells so they can be eliminated. Since it’s associated with wood qi, the liver is characterized by “upward momentum and the innate desire to be straight.” A healthy liver results in better blood flow upward and outward, throughout our vessels, veins and capillaries, which transport oxygen and nutrients to our cells. The liver also interacts with other organs like the gallbladder, stomach and spleen, since it receives digested particles or toxins and decides what to do with them: circulate them around through the blood or eliminate them before they can cause damage. The Causes of Liver Damage Because it has such widespread roles in the body, just about any form of metabolic, digestive, immune or hormonal disorder can impact liver health. In addition, your lifestyle can make or break the health of your liver. Things that damage your liver include: chemically sprayed crops eating many packaged foods that contain refined oils and high amounts of sugar too much alcohol and caffeine prescription medication or antibiotic use drug use and unprotected sex low-quality animal products high stress levels and hormonal imbalances air pollution and environmental toxin exposure using chemical household and beauty products Why is your liver so vulnerable to damage and the effects of a harmful diet or high toxin exposure? The liver is somewhat like the body’s digestive control center. When substances reach the liver, they’re processed and either circulated, stored, altered, detoxified or flushed away through urine and stool. For example, alcohol is primarily processed in the liver, so a night of heavy drinking means the liver must work overtime to bring the body back to balance. The same goes for prescription medication use or consuming foods that are heavily sprayed with chemicals. Your diet itself drastically impacts how hard your liver works. Because the liver breaks down fats, converts sugar, and removes old or damaged blood cells, it can become overwhelmed when it has too much to handle all at once. In addition to keeping the amount of nutrients in the blood supply at optimal levels, the liver also stores certain vitamins and minerals for when they’re needed. A poor diet has a negative impact on liver health for a number of reasons. As a function of your metabolism, the liver works to convert fats into useable energy, along with carbohydrates into types of glucose molecules that are supposed to keep blood sugar levels steady. Normally, your liver tries to take carbohydrates you consume and turn them into glucose, a form of energy, to be stored for later use. If your blood sugar levels increase suddenly and then fall quickly, creating an up-and-down cycle — which can easily happen when you consume too many refined or processed foods – the liver will try hard to amend the situation. Very high blood sugar levels mean the sugar will be removed from the blood and stored in muscles in the form of glycogen. Very low levels mean the liver will break down glycogen and re-release it into the blood. Managing the conversion of fats from your diet plus breaking down and removing excess hormones are other primary roles of the liver, so when things aren’t functioning normally, all kinds of hormonal imbalances can occur or worsen. (14) Common hormonal signs that your liver isn’t eliminating hormones include: high cholesterol levels, PMS, irregular periods, acne and mood swings. When liver damage becomes very serious, cirrhosis can occur, which develops when scar tissue replaces the healthy cells in the liver. Liver disease and liver failure is the result of so much scar tissue forming that the liver can no longer function.

Hepatic Enceplopathy - Portosystemic Enceplopathy

01:51
Hepatic encephalopathy (also known as portosystemic encephalopathy) is the occurrence of confusion, altered level of consciousness, and coma as a result of liver failure. In the advanced stages it is called hepatic coma or coma hepaticum. It may ultimately lead to death. It is caused by accumulation in the bloodstream of toxic substances that are normally removed by the liver. The diagnosis of hepatic encephalopathy requires the presence of impaired liver function and the exclusion of an alternative explanation for the symptoms. Blood tests (ammonia levels) may assist in the diagnosis. Attacks are often precipitated by an intercurrent problem, such as infection or constipation. Hepatic encephalopathy is reversible with treatment. This relies on suppressing the production of the toxic substances in the intestine and is most commonly done with the laxative lactulose or with non-absorbable antibiotics. In addition, the treatment of any underlying condition may improve the symptoms. In particular settings, such as acute liver failure, the onset of encephalopathy may indicate the need for a liver transplant

Mix THIS With Orange Juice to Flush Nicotine Out Of Your Body!

04:24
http://www.organicandhealthy.org/2016/10/mix-this-with-orange-juice-to-flush.html Mix THIS With Orange Juice to Flush Nicotine Out Of Your Body! It normally takes nicotine between 48 and 72 hours to leave your system. That’s bad news for anyone trying to hide from their constant cravings when they're trying to quit! Say hello to Cream of Tartar. It is a byproduct of the wine making process, and nicotine right from your body. What’s more, one week of cream of tarter treatment actually costs as little as one quarter the cost of a Nicorette pack. Even if you don't smoke, Cream of Tartar could still be of beneficial use to you! Read on to learn more about it and the many benefits it provides! What Is Cream Of Tartar? Cream of tartar is a powder chemists technically know as potassium hydrogen tartate. It is a sediment that comes from the bottom of a wine barrel. That said, cream of tartar is not alcoholic. There’s your quick run-through on cream of tarter. Now onto the top 5 juicy benefits! #1 – Quit Smoking In addition to pulling nicotine right from your body, some say cream of tartar actually makes you dislike the taste of cigarettes altogether. For people trying to quit smoking, cream of tartar typically works when mixed with orange juice – specifically the not from concentrate kind. The orange juice restores the body’s vitamin C levels, which take a hit due to the chemicals in cigarettes. Vitamin C in turn further helps your body flush nicotine. One source says they quit smoking by drinking a medium glass of orange juice with half a teaspoon of cream of tartar every night for 30 days. #2 – Reduce Arthritis Pain 100 grams of cream of tartar contains 2 milligrams of magnesium – a compound which Dr. Sircus says “modulates cellular events involved in inflammation.” In other words, if you suffer from arthritis you will love cream of tartar. The folks over at NaturalRemediesCenter.com recommend mixing 2 tablespoons of cream of tartar with 3 tablespoons of Epsom salt to create a bath. Soak in this for 30-40 minutes once or twice daily. If your arthritis pain is localized, cut the cream of tartar and Epsom salt quantity in half and use a bucket instead. #3 – Relieve Urinary Tract Infection According to EverydayRoots.com, cream of tartar relieves urinary tract infections by altering your urine’s pH levels. This creates an environment that sends the bacteria causing your infection running off. Get 1 and a half teaspoons of cream of tartar and mix it with 1 cup of warm water. Then, add a few drops of lemon juice. Drink this mixture 1-2 times each day. #4 – Clear Acne Theodora Pennypacker writing for Leaf.tv says cream of tartar’s acidic properties make it a great acne-fighting, cleaning agent for your skin. You don’t apply the cream directly to your face, though. Rather, you create a drink with 1 teaspoon of cream of tartar and 8 ounces of water or orange juice. Drink this daily and, with time, the mixture will remove the toxins and bacteria responsible for acne from your system. #5 – Reduce Blood Pressure If you’ve got lower than normal potassium levels – which many people do – that increases your likelihood of developing high blood pressure problems. Luckily, cream of tartar can take care of that too! 100 grams of cream of tartar contains a whopping 16,500 milligrams of potassium. If you’ve got high blood pressure problems, begin by checking with your doctor to see if a potassium deficiency is indeed the cause. If so, take 1 teaspoon of cream of tartar and mix it with a glass of water. Drink nightly. While very few leaders were beheaded in the course of this one, it changed the lives of more people more dramatically than any of the political revolutions we've discussed. So, why did the Industrial Revolution happen around 1750 in the United Kingdom? Coal. Easily accessible coal, it turns out. All this, plus you'll finally learn the difference between James Watt and Thomas Newcomen, and will never again be caught telling people that your blender has a 900 Newcomen motor. Are you losing the battle? Let's find out... Hormone-pumped meat from cows, pigs, or chickens and antibiotic-laced dairy from commercial cattle? Conventionally grown and chemically sprayed fruits and vegetables. Package foods and desserts that are loaded with hidden sugars and articial ingredients? Whole grains that are said to be healthy but are actually packed with allergenic ingredients like gluten, which has been linked to countless health problems including auto-immune disorders? And how many of these do you use all the time... Medicines like Advil, Aspirin, or Tylenol? Plastics and food containers? Cleaning and laundry supplies? Make-up and personal care products? The reason I ask is because all of these foods and household products are jam-packed with chemicals and deadly toxins that have no business being inside your body. If YOU feel more tired and worse today than you did a few years ago...OR notice that your body is being held prisoner by digestive problems, excess weight, candida, leaky gut, constipation, IBS, allergies, out-of-control blood lipids, or up and down blood sugar levels... Total Wellness Cleanse http://bit.ly/WellnessCleanse Then YOU Can Be Sure That You're Chock-Full of DEADLY Toxins Like: Pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides Heavy metals like mercury, aluminum, and lead Genetically modified "franken foods" that alter your DNA Unnatural hormone and antibiotic residues These toxins are making you age faster... they are tearing your body apart from the inside-out... they are forcing your body to cling on to unncessary fat... and most importantly, these "invisible" toxins are slowly but surely shortening your life span and robbing you of the quality of life you have left. I'm also going to show you what you can do right now to avoid a health crisis because in case you didn't know...the world in which we live today is very very different than it was 50 years ago - and it's endangering your body and health every single day. For instance... Did You Know That Millions of People (Including YOU) Are Exposed to Unsafe Doses of Pesticides in Their Foods... Every Single Day? Total Wellness Cleanse http://bit.ly/WellnessCleanse A 1998 study by the Environmental Working Group looked at 13 organophosphates, which are derivatives of nerve gases developed by Nazi Germany. These pesticides have been used widely for 40 years against scores of agricultural pests. The study investigated these pesticide levels across 82,000 samples of fruits and vegetables and cross-referenced them with children's eating patterns between 1991 to 1996. Their findings were shocking... showing that an estimated 1.1 million children under the age of five each day were eating food that contains an unsafe dose of one or more pesticides. Of these children, 106,600 exceeded the FDA's safe daily dosage level by 10 times or more! And findings from a 2002 study in the journal Agriculture, Ecosystems & Environment revealed that compared to drinking water and inhalation, processed food intake results in a 1,000 to 100,000-fold higher exposure to pesticides. Obviously, what you eat or DON'T eat matters — big time. And if you're a woman or expecting mother you'll also want to know that... Pesticides, Chemicals, and Toxins Will Even Attack Your Unborn Child! Children and adults aren't the only ones at risk of being exposed to deadly amounts of toxins because, according to recent research, when pregnant women are exposed to pesticides and other chemicals, their developing babies are exposed too. A startling investigation of newborn babies born in the US in 2004 revealed that of 413 industrial and consumer product chemicals tested, these babies averaged 200 contaminants in their blood! Is Autoimmune Disease Reversible?

04:38
Many people actually believe that auto-immune illness is not reversible. This is wrong thinking. What is not reversible is fixed opinions. Your FREE Candida Report here: https://www.yeastinfection.org/free-candida-report/ Greetings. Eric Bakker from New Zealand, a naturopath from way down under. Thanks for tuning in. I've got a question here from a subscriber. Eric, is autoimmune disease reversible? Well, I believe it is, and I've been believing that for a long, long time. I've worked with a lot of people for many years and I've certainly seen people get well with different types of autoimmune disease presentations, recover to a such an extent where they believed they were free of the autoimmune disease, and I've even seen blood markers disappear after personally focused on solid good health principles for many years. There's a doctor Fasano in Maryland I believe, a professor who's being studying autoimmunity and in particular leaky gut now for a long, long time. He's published many papers on gluten for example intolerance, and Fasano believes that a couple of things have to be there for autoimmunity to be expressed in a person, genetic predisposition has to be there, some kind of environmental trigger is number two, and the third one is the formation of leaky gut. Many doctors didn't believe in leaky gut until only a few years ago. Now there are hundreds of published papers on leaky gut syndrome you can actually read on the internet. I've known about leaky gut for about 30 years. I've known it's always been around, but we didn't call it leaky gut back then. We called it dysbiosis. We called it a permeability problem with the gut. We called it allergies. There are many things we called it, but we didn't really understand about the breakdown or the intestinal barrier and the mucus membrane and how the tight cell junctions would open up and allow endogenous expression through there to trigger immune responses. We know a lot more now through research and science. If you think about it carefully, Fasano says genetic predisposition, well we can't alter that. Environmental trigger, we can alter that. Leaky gut, we can alter that too. So two out of three ain't bad as Meat Loaf said. What you want to do is you really want to try and understand if you're leading a good, clean, healthy lifestyle and stop putting all this junk into the body, a lot of poisons, Coca Cola, artificial sugars, tobacco smoke, too much alcohol, pizzas, all this sort of crap that people consume. If you start eating clean, healthy foods, if you start drinking lots of fresh water, if you start leading a low stress lifestyle, if you start looking after yourself better, you've got a much better chance of not getting leaky gut, particularly if you don't take pharmaceutical medications like antibiotics regularly. Some people still pop them like candy. If you don't take fizzy drinks, those stupid soda drinks and you don't follow the mainstream when it comes to all the junk that people eat. So you need to stand it on your own and do your own thing and be proud and eat a good, clean, healthy diet and have a good balanced lifestyle, which I'm always trying to promote through this channel, those things help to repair the leaky gut. There are many videos I've made on leaky gut syndrome. You can look at a lot of those and educate yourself. If you really try and understand this concept of repairing the digestive membrane, reducing your stress levels, stopping triggers and causes from affecting your body, you can reverse autoimmune disease. It's highly possible for you to do so. Autoimmune disease still these days is seen by many doctors to have no known cause, and the only treatment for many people is steroids and painkillers and drugs like that. Crazy. There's always a cause. Every time something happens in the body there's a cause. We just have to find what that cause is and understand early on in life if we can correct the silly things we do, we don't have to end up with the consequences down the track. Thanks for tuning in. I hope that answers your question on autoimmunity. All right. Click on the link below if you want to get my free candida report if you haven't already got so, and keep asking the questions because I'm quite happy to keep replying to them through this channel. Subscribe guys. Thanks for tuning in.
