Cardio? Ab work? The first video {Get Six Pack Abs by Summer} was all about getting the fat process burning. In this video men's style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro is now talking about muscle building. He shows his 2 week progress where he's lost fat and gained muscle. He uses the scale along with body fat measurements. FAT BURNING :: The fat burning supplements he uses are Quadracarn (3 times a day) and CLA (3 capsules 3 times a day). He explains how they work with the CLA breaks down fat, and the L-Carnitine takes the fat to be used as energy. They are a fat shredding dynamic duo. He won Natural Nations with this method. He also uses a whole food multi-vitamin (he uses New Chapter). MUSCLE BURNING :: For muscle building, 150 grams of protein a day (gram per pound) in 3 main meals (25-30 grams per serving). Then in between he takes whey protein after working out. Instead of eating meat (ie: chicken breast), the amino acids help the healing start faster because it's already broken down. He's super excited about Glutamine (amino acid). Muscles lose it after working out strenuously, but this Glutamine supplement is incredible for cell voluminzation and anti-catabolic properties. In this video, I am breaking down the most important aspects of his diet plan and workouts to help you to start getting better results from your workouts heading into Summer. I’m also going to take a look back at a former “most wanted” celebrity body (that of Taylor Lautner) to see what went wrong and prevented his gains from being permanent. First and foremost, it is worth noting that neither Zac Efron or Taylor Lautner are heavyweights. Both stand just 5 foot 10 inches tall and weigh no more than 170 pounds. To make his transformation for Baywatch, Efron gained just 10 pounds of lean muscle. The thing is, when you minimize your body fat levels and maximize the amount of muscle your body can naturally carry…you look much bigger than you are. Both of these guys have mastered this. That said, you can’t expect to look better without being willing to put in some hard work along the way. Zac did just this by adopting more heavy weight training into his workout routine. He stated that he never had lifted very heavy or explosive before preparing for this film. A lot of people actually find themselves in a similar position either because they are uncomfortable lifting heavy or just don’t have the base strength to be able to do it. By increasing his strength levels on the basic compound lifts, Efron was able to start adding to his muscle density and thickness. Next he followed a push, pull, legs training split. This workout sequence allows you to train your body more athletically since you train movements instead of individual muscles. The back and biceps are responsible for all lifts in which you pull the weight towards you or pull your body towards a fixed bar. It’s impossible to isolate their actions so it helps to train them together to allow you more recovery time between workouts. Daily ab training is another key to having the resting tone needed to showcase your abs year round (provided your diet and nutrition are in check). Zac Efron’s diet is also covered here as well. By including a cheat day once in awhile, he is able to maintain his sanity and consistency required to keep his body fat levels low year round. All my life I've been the skinny guy. I've tried to gain muscle so many times you wouldn't believe it. I tried eating healthy and going to the gym. At some point I just stopped and accepted that my body was just not made for it. Now I know that no one is "made" for anything. Finally I was able to achieve my goals and become stronger than ever. The app helped me a lot as I didn't have a lot of experience learned the barbell movements with it through guided videos, my weights were increased automatically by its coach function and I was guided through every single workout. I couldn't have achieved what I did without it. ***UPDATE ON STARTING LIFTING NUMBERS*** I haven't actually done real 1RM tests in the beginning. These are just estimations based on the weights I trained with. I found a 1RM calculator online that said that it's pretty accurate up to 10 reps so I used its estimations. If I had known the technique better and if I had been able to push myself harder, I probably could have handled more weight but I was afraid to do the movements wrong and I found it kind of scary to use weights I am not sure I can handle - especially when it comes to bench press and squats. ***UPDATE ON NUTRITION*** I followed a very strict diet and without that, it would just not have been possible to change as drastically as I did. In general: I’m a pescetarian, that means, I don’t eat meat except for fish. I started with the Freeletics Nutrition Guide and applied the knowledge in a way that worked best for me. I will try to break it down to a few simple steps: 1) The key is finding what works best for you and then sticking to it: The first couple of weeks I only focussed on gaining weight as that has been my biggest struggle so far. High protein and high carb diet. Lot’s of fish and seafood. My calorie intake was up to about 4000kcal/day. After a while I realized that was too much as I was gaining fat as well and went down to a high protein moderate carb diet with a little more than 3000kcal which worked way better for me. My body developed the way I wanted it to and my performance went through the roof.. 2) No alcohol, no added sugar, no processed food at all. Real foods - that’s what is the basis for everyone. Don’t eat stuff you can’t pronounce. Just don’t do it. 3) It helps to track your calories and weigh your food. You need to know what you are eating as well as how much of it. It’s the same as for training: Doing the right exercises is the first step, programming it is the second. That's why the Freeletics Gym Coach worked for me. 4) Schedule your meals according to your day. Your body needs to be fueled with the right nutrients throughout the day and has special needs at certain times, i.e. I always ate a banana and drank a protein shake directly (15mins max) after training as the body needs carbs and proteins to regenerate and refuel. I also precooked my food for the whole day every morning. 5) Supplements: I took 5g of creatine and a protein shake right after each training. "The bench press, the incline bench press at different angles, and the dumbbell flye." Back: "For back, I did chin-ups, bent-over barbell and dumbbell rows, and the T-bar row. Any kind of rowing movement will give you that thickness. Those are the exercises I relied on from the beginning of my career to the end." Arms: Arnold relied on the barbell curl to build thick biceps, but he also used incline dumbbell curls and concentration curls to isolate his biceps. "For triceps," Arnold says, "we did a lot of narrow [close-grip] bench press in the early days. And then triceps push downs and overhead triceps extensions later." The first thing you must notice about this is that Aamir was fit before he made this movie. He walked around at a steady 150 pounds and by all standards was in very good shape. He already had the discipline instilled him to conduct a healthy lifestyle where he regularly worked out and ate right. The real struggle, as he put it, was in putting on the weight not necessarily taking it off. That is not consistent with what those who struggle with weight really battle. Rather than struggling to put it on, those with weight issues have a major difficulty trying to get rid of the excess body fat. This is for two reasons. One is as already alluded to, they do not possess the consistency of a regular gym habit or good eating habits. Second, they are metabolically at a disadvantage having spent many years either yo-yoing with their weight or simply staying overweight throughout the time period. When this happens, your body reacts by lowering your insulin resistance and you have a tough time mobilizing body fat for fat burning. If you are more muscular on the other hand and in good shape, your insulin sensitivity is higher (lower insulin resistance) and you have a much easier time dropping weight when attempted. That said, the Aamir Khan body transformation is not consistent with the more realistic transformation that needs to be made by the many that are overweight and have been for quite some time. That is not to take away from what he accomplished. It is an exercise in dedication for someone to do what he did in order to lose the amount of weight he did while not dropping his hard earned muscle. Two things you can take away from this that are very important as well. The first is the value of having a plan. This weight loss was very well choreographed from the beginning. Every step of this weight gain and loss was done knowing the course for how it was to take place from the start until the last pound was lost. The next thing was the level of accountability that was in place as well. In normal situations, you are not being held accountable for your weight gain or weight loss. Not the case here with Aamir. He had a major motion picture deal hinging on the fact that he had to lose the weight or the movie could not be written. In fact, because of this, he requested that the weight gain scenes be filmed first so he would have to lose the body fat in order to finish out the movie. Stars like Beyonce and Hugh Jackman have spoken out about following intermittent fasting plans to get in shape. How does intermittent fasting work? Here's what actually happens to your body and brain when you fast. Following is a transcript of the video. How long has it been since you last ate? People who fast intermittently often eat within an 8-hour block, leaving 16 hours of fasting in between. During that 16-hour stretch, their bodies undergo an important change that sets them apart from non-fasters. Here's how it works. When you eat, you store some of that energy in the liver as glycogen. But after 10-12 hours of not eating, your glycogen reserves will be extremely low. As a result, you may feel more irritable than normal, a term scientists call "hangry." The upside is — with little glycogen left — fat cells in your body release fats into your bloodstream. The fat cells head straight to your liver, where they're converted to energy for your body and brain. So, you are literally burning fat to survive. Blood samples show that people who had fasted for 12-24 hours experienced a 60% increase in energy from fat, with the biggest change occurring after 18 hours. This is the benefit to intermittent fasting because it puts you in a state called ketosis. And it's why researchers think intermittent fasting could be the key to a longer, healthier life. The process of burning fat releases chemicals called ketones. In the brain, ketones trigger the release of an important molecule called BDNF. BDNF helps build and strengthen neurons and neural connections in areas of the brain responsible for learning and memory. Which could explain why a boost in ketone production has been shown to improve memory in people with early signs of dementia in as soon as 6 weeks. Increasing ketones in the body is also a common treatment for patients with severe epilepsy. You don't necessarily have to fast to boost your ketone levels. Introducing more fatty foods into your diet and cutting back on carbs can have a similar effect. A group of people who tried this method for 3 months not only lost weight and body fat, but also saw a decrease in blood pressure and a hormone (IGF-1) that is related to aging and disease. But scientists have discovered that fasting increases ketone levels more. Ketogenic diets can increase ketones 4-fold whereas fasting has been shown to increase ketones by up to 20-fold. As a result, fasting — compared to a ketogenic diet — may have a stronger, more beneficial effect on overall health. Yet many Americans who eat three meals a day with snacks in between never reach ketosis, and therefore aren't producing enough ketones to promote good health. Fasting and ketosis have been a key to our survival from the beginning. They helped our ancient ancestors survive through bouts of starvation. Alpha's Go To Ab Routine Basic bench crunch - after getting into position, keep legs slightly bent, come up and pause. Alpha gives alternates for less and more intense options. 15 reps with dumbbell then 15 reps without the weight. Do three (3) sets of 30 reps. Hanging Leg Raises - Alpha gives options to perform this exercise with pros and cons. It's about control, that little squeeze, and that little pause. He gives options to make the exercises less and more challenging. He also gives an option to hit the obliques. Go for three (3) sets. Cable Crunch - it's a personal favorite of Alpha but is more difficult to feel. Your butt doesn't move. Only the upper body moves with a pause. Go for 15 - 20, three (3) sets. My name is Emma, and in today's lesson, we will be looking at how to do well on the speaking part of the IELTS. So the speaking part of the IELTS is divided up into three sections. Today, we're just going to be looking at section No. 1. So first of all, I will explain how to do well -- oh, sorry. First, I'll explain what happens in Part 1 of the IELTS. And from there, we'll look at some things you should do to do well and some things you shouldn't do, okay? So let's get started. So what happens in Part 1 of the IELTS? Well, first of all, the speaking Part 1 of the IELTS is for both those taking the General IELTS exam and the Academic. So whether you're taking the Academic or the General IELTS, it's the same test with the same questions. Okay. It lasts between four to five minutes. It's made up of first an introduction. So the examiner is going to introduce himself or herself. Then, you will introduce yourself. So for example, "Hi. My name is Emma. Nice to meet you." Okay, so there's an introduction. And then, the examiner is going to ask you some questions about yourself. So these questions aren't that difficult. Usually, they're about where you're from. So for example what city you were born in, where you grew up. They might be about work. They might be about what you study, about your friends, about your hobbies, food, sports, and another thing I don't have up here, family. Family is also common on this part of the IELTS. Okay? So usually, the examiner, after introducing himself or herself, they will talk to you about two of these topics. Okay?" Now, the way they mark this part of the IELTS is they're looking specifically for pronunciation, okay? So can they understand what you're saying? Do you pronounce things well? They're going to be looking at fluency. So what's "fluency"? Well, do you go, "Uh, um, uh, uh" a lot during the test? Or do you speak very clearly, in a very nice rhythmic way? Do you use organizers or transitions? "First of all, secondly, finally." Do you use words like this? "Another reason." Or do you have problems speaking at a normal rate? So they look at that in fluency." Then, they mark you also on vocabulary. Do you use words like "good, bad" a lot? Those are very low-level words. Or do you use high level words that really show off your vocabulary?" The final thing you're marked on is grammar and accuracy. So for example, do you only use the present test for the whole test or are you able to correctly use the present tense, the past tense, present perfect, future? How well is your grammar? Okay? So don't panic. Maybe you're weak in grammar. Maybe you make some mistakes in grammar. But you're marked equally on these four components, okay? So now, let's look at some tips on how to do well on Part 1 of the speaking part of the IELTS. Okay. So what are some of the things we should do to get a good mark in Part 1 of the IELTS for speaking? Well, we have a list here of dos. Okay? So these are things you want to do. So the first thing that's very important is when you first meet the examiner, okay? If you're very nervous, and you don't make eye-contact, and you look at the floor the whole time, you're not going to do well on the IELTS even if your English is pretty good. So it's very important to present yourself with confidence, okay? You want to go into that test and know you're going to do well. If you think you're going to do well, you're going to do a lot better. Okay? If you think you're going to do badly, you're probably going to do badly. So think you're going to do well, and be confident. Okay? Another important thing is be friendly. Okay. You want to smile. Body language is actually very important in the IELTS. You want to make eye-contact, okay? So don't look at your feet. Don't look at your hands. Look at the examiner. But you don't have to stare at them, okay? Just look at them when you talk.

This program is created by Isabel De Los Rios, a nutritionist and exercise specialist with 10 years of experience helping people lose weight and getting back their health. It is a comprehensive weight loss program that not only helps you achieve your ideal weight but also keeps you healthy. It tells you how to burn body fat effectively till you achieve your ideal weight and even maintain it. OK, now let me start by clicking on the order button. After that, is the ClickBank payment page. If you do not know what ClickBank is, it is something like Paypal. It is the middleman between the seller and buyer, protects your financial information and ensures you receive what you purchased. I am going to enter my credit card info which is blurred out, and then click the "Pay Now" button. Then, I just scroll all the way down and click on the decline link as I am not be getting the bonus stuff. Again I scroll down and click on the decline link for the second offer. Now I can just open up the file show you the Table of Contents first so you can have an idea of the content in The Diet Solution Program. As you can see, there are 16 chapters and a total of 99 pages. OK, now I am going to read the book and then get back to showing you what it is about. The first part I would like to show you is the objective of The Diet Solution Program (Page 7). It is to teach you how to select foods that are suitable for your body as well as to identify which food are beneficial and harmful to your body. By doing do, you would be able to achieve your ideal weight and to prevent common health issues. It is important to know that The Diet Solution Program is the result of Isabel's 15 years of research and hard work. Like many people, she was overweight and had tried many different diet plans but they did not give her desired results in the long term. It was only when she used the principles in The Diet Solution Program that she managed to maintain her ideal weight and be healthy at the same time. OK, now let me zoom to the chapter teaching you the 3 steps to weight loss (Page 14). It is basically to determine your metabolism type, to create a meal plan suitable for you, and to choose the correct foods. How to go about doing these 3 steps are discussed in detail in the rest of the chapters in the book. Let me now give you a preview of the first step on how to determine your metabolism type (Chapter 3). It tells you what the various metabolism types are and describes it so that you would be able to identify which one matches you most. In addition, for each type, it tells you what is needed and what must be done Next, I would like to give you a sneak peak at Daily Meal Planning (Page 26), the second step to weight loss. Over here, it teaches you 4 steps to create your personal meal plan. There is an Allowable Servings Guide (Page 68) included that shows you the various servings required for different meals. There are also Food Choices charts (Page 69 -- 73) for each metabolism type. With these information, you would be able to create a meal plan suited for your body easily. If you still have no idea how to create a meal plan, sample meal plan for each metabolism type (Page 29 -- 31) are provided so that you can just follow it to get started. The Diet Solution Program still has lots of useful information including facts about foods we normally consume and some misconceptions we might have regarding some healthy foods. However, I would leave you to explore those sections on your own. Another thing to note is that a Journal is also included. You should use it to record your daily meal plan and indicating the time, food you ate, and how you feel immediately and 2 hours after. You can also use it to record your daily exercise information. With the journal, you would then be able to track your progress.
